Our journey to Madeira finally begins! 🌊⛵️

Last week, we weren’t even sure if we would be able to continue our journey. But luckily, our boat was repaired and this week we can finally start preparing for our first big ocean crossing.

We have a lot to do before we can leave: stocking up on food and water, filling up with diesel and preparing our grab bags. We’re also picking up our crew who will join us for the crossing.

But while picking them up, the weather suddenly changes and the wind reaches 33 knots, causing some damage to the boat. 😳

After getting everything and everyone safely on board, we head out to anchor one last time before finally setting course for Madeira.
And then… our 10-day journey at sea begins!
But our first day at sea couldn’t have started better we had dolphins swimming alongside the boat for almost the entire day! 🐬❤️

This is the beginning of our Atlantic adventure. ⛵️🌍
