This RV Remodel Took a Turn We Didn’t Expect

In this Part 2 of our Remodel series, you are going to see the UGLIEST part of the RV remodel process: Demolition. And ALL the things that went wrong. Before we get into that: If you're just joining our Rving journey.. We are a family of 6 who sold everything to travel and live the RV Life full-time, but immediately our motorhome started breaking down. So we bought a 2023 Foretravel Realm Presidential and partnered with Foretravel Motorcoach on the BIGGEST gut renovation they have ever done in the history of the company. In this episode you’ll see what it really looks like to tear apart a luxury motorcoach from the inside out. Tile comes up. Wallpaper comes down. Cabinetry disappears. And with every layer removed, new challenges surface — including major issues that completely altered our timeline and plans. We also share how this remodel even became possible in the first place, and why taking a leap of faith early on set everything else in motion. What started with excitement quickly turned into a series of hard decisions, unexpected discoveries, and moments where we had to choose between doing things quickly or doing them right. As demolition continues, the project hits a turning point that forces us to confront some uncomfortable realities — delays, material setbacks, and a major shift behind the scenes that left us questioning what would happen next. This episode isn’t polished or pretty. It’s honest, overwhelming at times, and very real. But it’s also the beginning of understanding why this remodel would take far longer — and mean far more — than we ever expected. Thank you for being here and supporting us as we navigate this crazy chapter.
