A lot going on in this video! We start out shredding the backyard compound with Jay Dalton, riding the ramps, ripping my MX track, and even helping Jay conquer some of the huge freeride jumps. Unfortunately, some bike trouble ended his day a little earlier than planned 😅.
After that, we headed out to a top secret location for some private backyard MX track shredding. I started out on the Stark Varg, ripping some laps and having some fun before jumping on the YZ250 2-stroke and holding it wide open!
Big jumps, backyard moto, freeride ramps, electric bikes, 2-strokes, and a few unexpected moments…
Hope you guys enjoy this one! Let me know what you want to see next.

The video follows a series of dirt bike riding sessions, featuring guest rider Jay Dalton visiting the narrator's family property for ramp and track practice. The content transitions from technical ramp jumps and \"towing\" sessions on a private outdoor track to a visit at Kevin Wallenstein's private track in northern Michigan, where the narrator tests multiple bikes.
My buddy, Nick Tomasunis, you know who he is?
I know Nick Tomasunis.
He's another guy that I've seen doing like wheelie landings and stuff like that.
Doing the freeriding and making dirt bikes look cool.
Another shout out to Nick Tomasunis, dude,
because that guy, since we, you and I talked about him last,
I feel like his whips only got bigger.
But it is a good example how that is literally just a product of
practicing it over and over and over again.
Today's video, we have Jay Dalton pulling up to the house.
Also, apologize, I literally just rolled out of bed,
decided I need to record an intro before he gets here.
But we got Jay Dalton pulling up.
He's ripping the ramp today with me.
He's staying here for a couple days.
He's kind of been in like the Michigan area for a while.
Of course, having him over, got the nod to let him ride here as well, which is cool.
That's very, very rare.
For those that don't know, this property is my parents' property
and they're very specific about who they let ride here for insurance reasons.
So they gave him the nod.
He's pulling up.
He's ripping the ramp a little bit because he has apparently some shows coming up
and then probably tow him around the outdoor-ish, the moto track here
and maybe tow him over some of the big jumps.
We'll see how he's feeling.
But I'm going to go wake up and get ready and then we'll get into it.
So let's hop on board.
Okay, ignore me picking my bike up off the ground just now.
It doesn't have any fuel in it, so it's all good.
But before we get started, 100% just dropped their brand new 2027 collection.
I was lucky enough to be a part of the shoot out in Glamis with Cole Seeley.
All new goggles, gloves, everything's super sick.
I'm so stoked on it.
Use my code NICK15, 50% off.
Go grab you some.
Now, let's get back into the video.
Well, I just turned my camera off, but Jay already flipped it, so...
This is a sick turn up.
Oh, the turn ups are so much easier on a standard ramp.
Oh, that was sick.
That was a good one.
It's so tiny.
I know, I barely get over the landing.
That's why I can't even throw a whip.
I can do like a turn up.
Oh, changes came off.
Dude, changes came off.
Can you land it?
Yeah.
I don't know how that happened.
It wasn't loose.
See if I can get it back on here.
I'm gonna put this thing in neutral.
I mean, was it loose?
It doesn't look like it.
Hopefully, I didn't just tear the entire gearbox to shreds.
Is that loose?
It might not be now.
I'll see if I can limp it back.
The chain's not abnormally loose, huh?
Okay, it's the next day.
We got Jay back out in the backyard right now.
He wants a little tow around the outdoor track we got here.
It's actually pretty overgrown.
I had to do a lot of work to it this morning.
But I'm gonna go tow him a few laps.
And then I'm going to mega tow him around all these big jumps here.
Yeah, Tomasunas Towing Services.
He's ripping the two-stroke today with some outdoor suspension.
So hopefully, we don't backside anything.
But as long as he follows me, he'll be good.
Let's hop on board and do it.
I would just be careful when you roll some of them
because there's some piggy backsides.
But all of them besides like this one should be good.
You just jumped everything for a slide, huh?
Oh, we had some moments back there.
But you and your parents don't need to see that.
Yeah, it's pretty like stadium, like fair crossy.
Like especially down there, it's super tight.
But it's pretty technical.
I don't know if it's because I'm watching you or if I'm just waking up still.
I thought I was gonna start for a second.
I went to like just roll on the power on the one right out of the corner.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, dude, that one's even tough on this thing.
Yeah.
The lip is like gone.
But yeah, this is the only one that I didn't feel comfortable.
Yeah, it's not as fast as you would assume.
Plus, you can go with the weight of the left
and just go lower and lower until you get comfortable.
It's chill.
All right, I'm gonna get a little more tuned into my existence right now.
Yeah.
Sick.
All right, we are gonna tow Jay over some of these freeride jumps here.
I went and got my stiffer suspension because the stock stuff that I use,
I'm just too heavy for it.
It's good on a track, but it's too heavy to take any impact
more than I even want to feel an impact today.
So we will rip the jump bike with the stiffer suspension and get Jay over all these.
Oh, yeah.
All right, I'm gonna jump it first real quick, make sure it's all good.
Okay, yeah, just second.
Hit it like a 75.
I'll jump up first again real quick.
I forgot I rebuilt the face on that.
I went a little long.
Yeah, you went long.
Yeah, second, click second or click third in the air and just...
Yeah, that was a little bit nice.
Still a tad long, but yeah, definitely second.
Just click third.
Oh, yeah.
That's not as bad as it could have been.
Yeah.
You could have landed down there.
I would hate that either way.
Yeah.
Yeah, I just find it easier to square it up that way.
I mean, yeah, you're not going to over jump it.
You're not going to flat land it in second.
You might go a little long, but as soon as you can pivot, just and you'll be fine.
Were you wide open?
Yeah, it's kind of fast.
You got to hit it fast.
That thing is loud.
Yeah, that thing don't sound too hot.
That sounds like s***.
Yeah.
Yep, we're done.
Is that what happened that last run?
No, thankfully I didn't hit the corner crack.
Oh, yeah.
That would have sucked if that happened over the jump.
Today we are out at a sick private track here in northern Michigan.
Kevin Wallenstein's place.
You may have seen a video from this place earlier on in the year and the track was sick.
I really liked it.
So I hit up Kevin.
I was like, hey, I'm looking for a place to ride.
Can I come out?
He said, yeah, sure.
No problem.
So here we are.
I got the Stark.
I got the 450 and the 250.
So I'm going to have a sick day of shredding.
So let's get to it.
Okay, we're ripping the Stark first.
We got some rain the other day.
I think it was yesterday, actually.
So the track might be slightly wet, but this track can handle it.
So it should be a good day.
Track's so sick right now.
A couple puddles in the low spots, but I don't mind.
I can definitely hit this inside.
Oh, I could go all the way over here too.
That's setting me up so bad for this corner.
What is the outside here?
Not too bad.
No, it's not bad at all.
A couple puddles, but the dirt's actually sick.
250 up next.
It's got a fresh top end in it.
Yes, I already put a top end in it, but it does have a fresh top end.
So I'm going to do a couple warm-up laps and then honestly,
probably go into the banger mode on it and get some iPhone stuff.
I'll take you guys along for a couple laps on the fresh rebuild.
Bike's a lot different than the Stark.
So much fun though.
I'm going to switch cameras and go get some banger clips.
Ringing this thing's neck.
Okay, that's a wrap for today out here at Kevin Wallenstein's backyard.
I was going to ride the 450, but honestly, I just put like two-ish,
two and a half hours straight of riding on the bike.
So I'm chilling for the rest of the day.
I've got to actually pack up the next couple of days.
I have a really busy schedule coming up.
Had a ton of fun and I guess we will see where we end up next.
But that's it for the video.
Thank you guys for watching.
