🎬 ABOUT NO MORE ORCHIDS 🎬

Carole Lombard stars as Ann Holt, a woman who's agreed to wed a wealthy European prince in a marriage arranged by her wealthy grandfather. En route home from meeting her new fiancée, Ann falls for attorney Tony Gage (Lyle Talbot) who, because of the highly publicized engagement, rejects her advances. Though Ann's father, Bill (Walter Connolly), helps reunite the star-crossed lovers, his father intervenes, withholding the money he needs to revive a failing bank until the girl agrees to the arranged marriage. Yet, when Ann forgoes true love to save him, Bill makes the ultimate sacrifice by crashing his plane into a mountainside so she can collect the insurance money that will allow her and Tony the freedom to marry.
