ExclusiveRossini: 6 Sonatas for Strings: No. 3 in C Major | Encore

【Classical music and nature 古典音樂小站】Gioachino Antonio Rossini: Six Sonatas For Strings, Sonata No. 3 In C Major. This beautiful piece was played by I Solisti Veneti (an Italian chamber orchestra founded in Padua in 1959 by Claudio Scimone). Claudio Scimone was the conductor. It is provided through archive.org.
"The first sonata, in G major, gives every instrument a chance to shine, starting with the first violin’s opening, a brief appearance of the cello, a bit of melody for the second violin, and then closes the exposition with material for the double bass." (by Interlude)
In the final movement of the third sonata in C major, Rossini creates a variations movement that ends up sounding like the end to one of his comic operas.
These views were taken by Simone and Christian Schlegel near the Oltschibach, above Meiringen with a view first at the "Brünig" and then at the "Haslital" in Switzerland in 2023. The video was edited by Wenjing Ma.
