"Bittersweet" - Hyperrealistic Charcoal and Pencil Portrait - Drawing Timelapse Part 1

Hi everyone! Here is the drawing I'm currently working on. It's about halfway done so I thought I would share the process so far. I hope you like it!

P.S. This is not Arnold Schwarzenegger. I've had a lot of comments on my last short asking if this is him. It's actually my dad! I never realized he kinda looked like him!

Materials used:
- Arches hot pressed watercolor paper, 300 gsm
- Charcoal powder
- Jakar grey compressed charcoal sticks
- General's charcoal pencils
- Faber Castell pitt oil pencil
- Staedtler mars lumograph and lumograph black pencils
- Tombow mono zero eraser, electric eraser, kneaded eraser, eraser pencil
- Blending stumps, cotton balls, soft makeup brush for blending
