On September 2, the historical Sala Assunta on the Vatican Hill hosted a concert by the youth ensemble Bella Musica from the Mozarteum University Salzburg, conducted by Stefan David Hummel.

The event was made even more special by the use of two of Mozart's original violins.
The program opened with the lively Overture from Così fan tutte. 10-year-old Shuxuan Jin performed as soloist in the first movement of the Violin Concerto KV 216 on a smaller-sized violin that once belonged to the Salzburg composer. Next, 19-year-old Ida Gillesberger played the third movement of the Violin Concerto KV 219 using another instrument owned by Mozart, the famous "Costa" violin.

At the center of the program, a captivating guitar section featuring Francisco Tárrega’s Recuerdos de la Alhambra led into the symphonic pinnacle of the fourth movement of Symphony No. 41 KV 551 "Jupiter".
To conclude this rich musical journey, the young musicians turned into a choir to perform the Ave Verum Corpus KV 618 as the final encore of the performance.
