We’re cutting a massive 115 CT black opal, and what comes out of this monster is incredible.

As we work deeper into the rough, the stone starts revealing a beautiful honeycomb pattern loaded with strong red fire. The dark body tone makes those reds jump, with flashes of other colors showing through as the pattern opens up.

This was a serious gamble from the start, but a 115-carat black opal full of red honeycomb is exactly the kind of result we hope for.
