Austin weather: Triple digit heat coming to an end?

Central Texas continues to experience extreme heat and high humidity into the third week of September. While some coastal showers may provide brief relief for eastern areas, a persistent heat dome is keeping temperatures well above average, with triple digits expected through Wednesday and heat advisories in effect.
