Can You PROFIT Opening Pokémon Go Cards?

Pokemon Go cards just came out and we're testing if you can actually profit from the set. Boom, let's open up the box. I can't wait for this to come out in English as well. We got the box opened and let's get on to the packs. And we're kicking with the biggest hit that we pulled in today's video. All you gotta do to enter is comment and subscribe. Alrighty, right off the bat, you got one of these little code cards. I don't know what the card trick is for this. Maybe it's like one to the front. Oh, okay, that is the hollow energy. So we got a Steelix. Oh, we're looking for those Ditto cards. The Dittos at the bottom here and that's how you know it is a peelable card. Okay, all right, not bad. Now we got a Golisopod hollow. We're going to calculate the total cost at the end of the video. We're also going to open up these little promo packs a little bit later as well. All right, I think it's a little better if we cut these with scissors. Might be a little easier to open that way. And let's see what we get. All right, first pack, we got nothing great. I think a hollow is guaranteed in each pack. Let's not do any card trick for these because I know that there is hollow energy. So we got this. Can't wait to see any of those. Some of those Ditto peelable cards. Oh, that's so cool. And I have the hollow energy. We got a Mewtwo. The Mewtwo is my second favorite Pokemon, so I think that's absolutely awesome. Even just opening a couple packs, I can tell why the set is hyped so much. So let's go straight through. I keep trying to do a card trick, but there's no card trick to do. Yeah, Slowpoke. All right, let me make sure I don't miss any of the peelable cards. Oh, okay, Melmetal. These artworks are so cool, even though they're just hollows. It has a little Pokemon Go stamp right there. So far, we've pulled a Mewtwo V. Personally, I love the card. I think it's probably my favorite V that I've seen so far in the Sword and Shield era. But hopefully, we'll get maybe a Charizard. That would be absolutely awesome. Okay, and the price should be up at the top. Oh, I accidentally just hit the cards. I'm sorry about that. Let's see what we get. Oh, oh, wow. Okay, that's super cool. And the hollow energy. So we get the Dragonite V-Star. And hopefully, we'll get the Charizard out of this box. I think it's cool that they're putting the code cards in these packs as well, because I don't think many Japanese packs have those kind of things. And we got Hollowed Snorlax. That's very cool. He's just laying there. Let's take a quick break. We'll open up a couple of these packs, and we'll get back onto the rest of the box. And it's just one card. Oh, okay. All right, not bad, not bad. Let's open another one as well. So we have four of those. We got the Squirtle right there. All right. Oh, a duplicate. Okay, that's all right. Oh, okay. We got a Bulbasaur. Not bad, not bad. I don't know exactly what we're looking for in these packs. I think there are some Ultra Rares. And Charmander. All right, nice. We got the full set of the three starters. Pokemon Go. This is insane. I love this set already. Almost tried to do the card trick again. Um, we got a Pikachu. Ooh, Lapras. And we get a Hollow Energy. All right, next up. Uh, we got Magikarp. I might have actually missed some of the peelable cards. I'll have to go back and look afterwards to make sure I did not miss any. Oh, Slaking V. Slaking V. And a Water Energy. Oh, it's texturized. Okay, wait a second. Let's see. Is this Mewtwo texturized as well? Oh, it is. Okay, there's a different texture on these. That's super cool. Next up, I haven't seen any huge hits yet. But I think this box will just get better and better. I don't know how many packs we've opened quite yet. But let's get into this. All right, we got a Charmander. Uh, I'm gonna try to go a little slower just to make sure I don't miss any of the peelable cards. Ooh, okay. That's a sick artwork. It's a sick artwork. So, set this aside and move on. So many packs. I think I paid $85 for this box because it was a seller that had it in hand at the time. And the rest of the other ones that were selling them were cheaper, but they did not have them in hand. And I did want this sooner rather than later. So, let's see. We got a, um, let's see. Ooh, okay. It's not bad. I like that the set has every pack as a holo. Oh, gosh. What is that? Hold up. What is that? Oh my goodness. Okay, that's certainly a shine. So, let's do a little card trick here. So, that's the last card. That's certainly a shine. What is that? Uh, we got Steelix. Oh, okay. What is this? We got an energy. Ooh, okay. That's a good secret rare. That is a good secret. I love it. All right, next one up. Let's take the poop card off. I think this is the best way to be doing it. And I could have already missed some of the peelable cards. We got an energy. A Dragonite B. Okay. We got a Dragonite B. Very cool. This might be the biggest hit that we pulled today. But if so, that is going to be giving away to one of you guys that comments and subscribes to this channel. Oh, Blastoise. Okay. Making sure I haven't skipped any of the peelable cards yet. But I'm definitely happy I'm getting this firsthand experience to open these packs. And let's see what we get. I see a shine back here, but I guess there's shines in every pack. Fire. And we got... Oh, Mewtwo V-Star. Okay. I'm... Honestly, I prefer this card over that Rainbow Rare. And I'm going to start giving you guys more of the code cards. I know I haven't given you guys all of them. So I'm going to try to start here. There's that one. And I don't know if you can redeem them on the English website for the Pokemon TCG. Okay, so here we go. We got no peelable cards yet. It doesn't look like... Oh, Eevee. Yes. That is so cool. Radiant Eevee. That's absolutely awesome. It's nice and texturized too. So we have five packs left. And if you ask me, seven hits is pretty darn good. Here is the code card for that. And we will do our little card trick there. I don't know if you're supposed to get one of those peelable cards in every box. Uh, I haven't seen any yet. Oh, yes. We got the Charizard. We got a Charizard. Okay, that's not anything... That's not like a Radiant one or anything. But Charizard is Charizard nonetheless. Super happy about that. Alrighty. I think four packs left. It might be three though. And we got a Pikachu. Nice. I'm gonna set that over here as well. That's definitely a hit in my book. Almost done with the box. Three packs left. And we'll see if we can get any last packs magic. All right. And maybe peelable cards as well. Because I'm definitely happy to see what those are all about. Ooh, Tyranitar. All right.
