Today's video was meant to be my autumn decorate with me video, but I am waiting on a couple more things. So that will be my next video. So apologies for those of you that like a cosy autumn vlog on a Sunday morning. That will be coming on Wednesday. But today I actually have a Timu haul, which has definitely some spooky elements. And I've got a bit of an accumulation of a few different bits with the intention of our Halloween kind of themed baby shower party in mind. So I've got a couple of bits for that, a couple of autumn, fall things. And just again, you'll see with this haul, miscellaneous, random, loads of different categories. So let's jump into it. I'm actually going to start with this first item. I'm going to switch out my phone case. This one is looking very grubby, in need of a replenish. I found this one on Timu, which I thought was, it's almost like a bit of a dupe of a Rimowa type. You know, like my suitcase looks a bit like that. I'm scared of breaking a nail when I replace my phone case. We're all good. We are safe. So there we go. Much better. And it fits with the fact that I've got the silver phone. This is the 17 Pro Max, but they've got obviously all of their cases in the different sizes available. And loads of different colours, silicon, hard, whatever you want. A phone case. I never really want to spend that much on a phone case. I don't know about you, but it pains me if a phone case is expensive. So if you want an affordable alternative, then maybe have a look at Timu. I do have another little kind of dupe lookalike type products that I thought I would share with you. And it's this hairbrush. Really, again, really random purchase, but I saw these. They have them in loads of different colours. I went for the cream beige version. It is obviously just a hairbrush, but they look a bit like the Bon Bross ones. Bon Bross? How do you pronounce it? I'm not sure. But nice and gentle on your hair. It doesn't snag or pull any knots. And I thought I would try this affordable alternative. And not to mention, looks cute too. I thought for our Halloween-y baby shower party, we're kind of just keeping it very casual in terms of a bit of an open invite to family and friends and kids, partners. It's not just like a girly thing. So I thought just in case we do have some kids, I'd get some little crafty bits and bobs. And I saw these, which I thought, I have already bought some, but these are in addition to the things that I have already bought. And I thought I would just show you because, again, as a good, especially if you do have kids, crafting, if you're wanting them themed around the season, obviously autumn is basically here. Halloween is fast approaching. So I just got some pencil sharpeners and these pencils. And these actually come in individual sets. So maybe even if you were to have a little kids party as party bag options or each child having their own little coloring set, I thought they were quite handy to have. This one is more, I would say, intricate, older kids, adults, that kind of thing. I love a color. I've said this so many times before, and I feel like a lot of you relate to me, but for me, mentally, a switch off, I do find that by doing something like this or a word search or something where you are pen to paper, coloring pencil to paper, it really helps me kind of switch off from screen time as well as it's just like a fun little activity to do. So anyway, this whimsical Pumpkin Spice Cafe coloring book. How cozy! And just show you a few of the images just so that you've got an idea of what that one looks like. But then I did also go for a bit more of a, we can kind of rip these pages out if need be and share, but a kid-friendly one where the images are far bigger. This is what that one looks like. I've been absolutely loving Pinterest and searching all the info and all the ideas for decorating for Halloween. And I really want to keep things fairly family-friendly, cutesy, rather than like horror, scary, adult, especially given the fact that if we're doing a bit of a baby shower as well to tie into that party. I don't want it, you know, I don't want a baby shower to be really creepy. I want it to be friendly. So I've got some pretty white lace options including this bunting. And I thought I could even tie this up with either plain white tiny newborn little baby grows hung up alongside this in just plain white like I said. And maybe even intertwine some hanging ghosts. And I got this set of little hanging decorations, but they are ghost shapes with the little ghost eyes. Hang these in between. We'll do a bit of DIY and crafting nearer the time around the, well I'll show you how I end up decorating. I would not leave you out of that fun process. But I did also get these ones as well. And these ones come in kind of a bit more of a variety pack. These are like a felt on a jute twine. And again sticking with the all white theme. Ghosts are an easy one to be able to incorporate within a all white Halloween like kind of inspired thing. Maybe like some spiders webs as well. My black bats that can go up the wall. That's the kind of vision that I've got. Anyway, lots of candles, hurricane, glass hurricanes. That's the kind of vision that I've got for it. They do packs of balloons. I'm not obviously going to be blowing these up yet. It's a Halloween. We're quite a way off yet. But they've got all different colours. These ones are actually transparent. They've got white as well. I might even pick up some more white ones. Might even look to get a bit of an arch done. We'll take you along that journey as we go. Speaking of white lace though as well. I did also pick up this table runner. Which is this thickness. And I thought if we have on our dining table. Have I got a white tablecloth? White with the white lace layer would be really pretty. Or even the beige tablecloth that I use most often. So that we have this kind of set out throughout the middle of the table. And again some pretty hurricane glass candle holders along the table as well. But yeah, really nice long table runner. That these sort of things. It's just lace fabric. So why fork out a fortune when you can get a really affordable alternative on Timu. Maybe for displaying some foodie bits and bobs. I did go for this two tiered cake stand. I have a couple of cake stands already. That are all different shapes and sizes and looks. And they're all neutral though. So it kind of ties in with that theme. And I thought this would be perfect to go with that as well. Just a nice little dark wood. Again little individual, I don't know, biscuits, cakes, whatever. I know I mentioned candles along the table. But I also thought on the styling shelves. On the bookshelves, the kind of media wall. Or on the console. We could have some of these as well. Or even on the island. I've seen some tall candles. If you just buy like a plain white one. Tall one. And just draw on with a sharpie pen. Two little black dots. It kind of creates the ghost eyes. To make it a bit more Halloween-y. Or these are perfect for out all year round. They're kind of like brushed with a bronzy antique looking paint. I'm not sure what I'm going to be doing about a cake yet. I may even get one made. But if I were to get a plain white one. I thought I would get a little cake topper. Just as an option. I was going to say even if I don't get one specifically made. And you just buy one or even bake one. To have a little cake topper for the baby shower. This one says oh baby. Some more of my ghosties that I showed you earlier. That's how many come in there. So there's 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12. So 12 of those ghosts. But as you can see they're sat on this tray. Now I got this wooden tray as a bit of a display. Now these, they have like stacker options. Where you can have these as jewellery dividers. Where you could even store your jewellery in them. Whether they be on display or in a cupboard or a drawer or whatever. But I thought the plain tray version is a bit more versatile. I thought I would pick it up to see the quality of it. And I'm really impressed with it. It's also got like a felt bottom as well. So if you did again wanted to have it on a dresser. Then it's like a non-slip. And it's wooden and cream. Like a walnut and cream colour. I got a little cot accessory. We haven't even got a cot yet for our nursery. But I thought this. I mean it doesn't even have to go on a cot. It could go on a pram bag or anything. But it's a little muslin kind of fabric hanging thing. With the little poppers that you can like I said loop over and hang. And it has storage. So for just the things that you need to hand for baby. And obviously not just for baby. This is just any kind of hanging storage. You could have it in a pantry. With maybe some spare carrier bags in or something. Utility room. Just wherever. But I just thought this little soft muslin white fabric. Could be a perfect little cot addition. I could honestly go to town on Team U. For getting baby stuff. And I felt really restrained. Who knows as we get nearer to our due date. May even be popping in a couple more orders for the nursery and the playroom. And another thing that they have in loads of different patterns, sizes, styles. Are these kind of. They're books but they're boxes. So they're not actually used for reading. They are more so for display and for styling. Obviously a much more affordable way to do that than getting loads of books. A really nice way to inject a bit of that autumn tone with the browns and beige. If you don't want to. Like if you're not the sort of person that wants to decorate seasonally specific to autumn. But have stuff that you could have out you know all year round. Then these are a really nice way to do that. I will say actually just on that though. Just for transparency and clarity. These aren't like the storage boxes. They don't open. They just are an empty box. So they're not actually storage. They're just purely for styling for display. I'm sure they probably do do some that open if you did want the storage option. We've got some artwork. And this is where things can be a bit hit or miss. I've got some artwork downstairs that I have had for I want to say years now. That is from Timu that I like. But then I have also had fails in the past. So I ordered three different ones to be able to show you and see which ones I like. Because I thought again for display for a Halloweeny autumn themed party time of the year. So you have to frame them yourself. Or you could just have them like kind of hung up you know rather than in a frame. The first one. Little ghosties. So this one's just like a house autumn scene. We've got some pumpkins. Not too scary. Just very autumn vibes with the colours and the tones of this one. And I don't know. You'll have to let me know which one you think is your favourite of the three. So there's that one. I think this is the option. Yeah this is similar style. A scene for like just a nice autumn pumpkin picking field. Pumpkin patch. But this one's not specifically Halloweeny. So you could just have it for autumn. And as you can tell. I can show you. There you go. This one doesn't have the ghosts on. So this is yeah literally just pure autumn harvest. If Halloween is not your thing. And then lastly. This one's kind of like. Okay this one's much bigger I think. It might actually be too big. Well we'll see. I prefer the. I do like the tones of this one though. It's a bit more muted. It's less orangey and a bit more faded. And obviously you've got the couple of ghosts kind of like flying there. It's one of those though. This one up close. The artwork is a bit. The actual art itself. You can tell it's a print. But from afar. I feel like on camera. You can't really tell. Oh there's some bats there as well are there? Yeah. Kind of looks like an old abandoned house. It's still got the pumpkins as well at the bottom. Probably a bit bigger than I thought it was going to be. So check your measurements. I have got some autumn stems. That I thought I would get to try. This one is like an acorn leaf. Comes in a set of three. Obviously you can shape them out. And it even comes little acorns on there. But I really like the tones of these. Because they're like a really crispy dried looking leaf. That I'm kind of regretting not getting like a bigger bunch of. To be honest. To fill out a vase a bit more. Three. Like a set of three stems. So I maybe would opt for a couple of bunches. If you're going to go for these. Some more kind of twig looking. Contorted hazel type branch stems. So that if I wanted to hang some of those little ghosts. Off of this in a vase. Oh again this is only one stem. I suppose we could bend and manipulate it. And it's so long. Okay this is huge. This is really big. And actually really. I rate this. This one is my favourite of the two. I'm regretting not getting a couple of these. I think if I were to bend that. Obviously it's so tall. That if you have a really tall vase as well. This will work. And have a couple wispy like wide looking. Yeah I'm regretting not getting two of these. Or maybe even three to be honest. And you can have the little ghosts. Like hanging from the branches. Just sporadically. Maybe just a few dotted around. These are the other stems that I got. This one comes in a set of three again. And I think this will be better suited to. Just a smaller vase. Once I've. Hold on. Let me just shake it out a bit. These always need. They're wired. So they need a bit of shaping. A bit of playing around with. To get it right. Just simple autumn. Like wild. Like dried berry type. Stems. Mentioning the C word. This is one of those things that I thought. I didn't even look at Christmas stuff. When I was browsing the website. Because I thought let me save that. And maybe do another haul. Closer to the time. And I saw this. And I thought no. Because I'll end up. If I forget to get this. Add it to my basket. Or anything. I'll be guttered. I saw it. It was recommended to me. I bought it. It's wrapping paper. It will be from Santa Claus. And it will be going. In Barney's stocking. Oh my goodness. Look at all these. Happy Christmas goldens. Oh look guys. Call me crazy. I don't care what you call me. But. Santa Claus. May be paying a visit this year. To a special golden boy. This is really good quality. It's nice. Thickness. Because it's a white paper. With white you can sometimes be a bit see through. This isn't see through at all. But it's also not too thick. Where. You know like when wrapping paper can't rip. Let me just do a little test. Because when people get really good quality wrapping paper. You can't rip it to open. I'm like no. Throw it back to the 90's. Where it's just really paper thin. Easy to rip. Yeah. You can rip this one nice and easily. I was just about to close off today's video. And then I thought let me show you these other bits. That I also ordered from Timu recently. Because I thought you might like the vibe. The aesthetic. And just a couple of things. I mean how cute are these. For baby's nursery. These tiny little hangers. Now I love the velvet hangers anyway. I've got the black ones in the adult size. But I thought I would go for like the beige. Smaller option for baby. And then I also picked up these hurricanes. To pop in some candles. For decor. For primarily the Halloween party. But I guess you could use it any time of the year. Not that I need any more pumpkins. But a gorgeous ceramic pumpkin. I loved the colour of this one. And it's a nice kind of aged look to it. As opposed to just a plain white. Another stand. Cake stand. Great display stand for hosting in the kitchen. Especially when you're doing a party. And you've got a mismatch of loads of different cake stands. So I got that. This vase and these stems. I thought were gorgeous for autumn. Maybe possibly a bit too. Well to be fair. I was going to say too purple for me. But now that I've got them out. I do actually really like them. If you do like the rich burgundy plum colour. Which I am seeing everywhere in stores. This year. Fashion and home wear. And then I need to get a little screwdriver to. Or not a screwdriver. But a little spanner to undo these. To pop them in. It arrived in a couple of parts. But this is just like a mirror. Standing mirror. That I loved the dark wood. I would just insert this little clip here. And also will leave the links to these items below as well.
