As you know we've restarted our new life in Turkiye, and if you've been with us from the start you would of noticed that things have honestly been going the good since we got here. However, no-one prepared us for the speed at which things are developing. Today we explore a side of Alanya many people don't show you, so come with us and let's see what happens.

Today for the first time we're exploring Alanya but not quite in the way you might expect.
Just six months ago we were wondering what life in Tokyo could actually look like.
We're settling into our new surroundings and starting to get the feel for what this
new chapter could actually look like for our family.
And trust me, we certainly didn't expect our first day to go like this.
Still 30 odd degrees.
Pool's down there.
Blue skies.
Barely a cloud.
Robocop there.
Cleaning the pool.
Just like Bulgaria, we're going to use this to plant things that grow on the trellis.
Oh and we've got little grape orchards happening here.
Look, it's not quite like ours in Bulgaria but it's an orchard.
And we've got tons of rosemary growing.
Our olives are coming up.
I've never had to pick olives before but apparently you've got to put a net underneath
the tree and give it a good shake.
No, not me.
But I think a machine comes and does it for you.
I think.
I don't know.
Our days normally start at 6am.
Cleaning the pool, watering the plants and getting everything ready for the day.
Right.
Today we've got another issue.
That pool looks very, very green.
I cannot really see the bottom.
And this is the problem we've got with the algae.
It is absolutely amazing.
I've put the chemicals in there.
But the other problem is the pump is deciding not to work properly.
So let me try it and see if this works.
Oh, it's working.
Let me go downstairs.
Right, this is the pool house.
And this is the electrics.
So we've got the expansion tank.
We've got the pool pump.
I've got all these pipes I've got to figure out because I've not really been shown how
to do this properly.
I'm going to attempt to change or clean this filter.
And what I do know is if I do this wrong, I'm going to flood this whole place and all
the water from the pool is going to come out of the pool and flood inside here, which I
don't want to do.
I've got another pump here.
I've got no idea what this pump.
I think this is to pump the water out.
I'm all new to this.
My first time doing pools and I need to change this filter.
I'm a bit worried because I did try and take this off the other day, this filter, and the
whole pressure of the water came out and I'm just about to put it back on.
I shouldn't really do this one.
I may have got it all wrong, but let's see.
Oh, that's not good.
That's not good.
I don't like that top.
It feels like it's going to come off.
I'm hoping it stops.
Is it going to stop?
Oh, hang on a minute.
Water's still coming out of the pool, but the whole point is to clean this.
Look at that, it's full.
The water's running out.
That didn't go to plan, completely flood the room, but I think I've done it.
I didn't touch that, didn't touch that, didn't touch that.
That is closed.
That's a drain.
That's closed.
That's open.
So I'm going to turn this on, see if that makes a difference.
Oh, right.
So I've got a problem in here.
I've got no clue what that says in Turkish.
I need to look it up.
Electrical problem somewhere.
But what I need to do is check to see how much water I've lost from the pool.
I've done a bit of cleaning in the pool.
The pump is still working, so maybe that was part of the problem.
That looks fine.
But before we head into Alanya, the girls had something a little more exciting planned.
Their first horse riding lesson.
The girls had their first horse riding lesson.
We chilled out with a cup of Turkish coffee.
It's custom that they give you water as well because this coffee is very strong.
And in some cases, they'll give you Turkish sweets.
It's nothing like the sweets in England.
It's a Turkish delight.
Doesn't look nothing like the stuff I see over here.
So you normally get the water.
The water is a drink after you have a coffee, which I didn't realise.
I kept thinking why they give me bottles of water.
Until I realised because the coffee is so strong, you need it.
So you can see how big this boat is.
It's massive.
Absolutely massive.
And you can see we're on Paradise Beach right here.
Look at the size of this boat.
Absolutely beautiful.
It's the biggest boat in the fleet around here in Alanya.
And Elaine and the kids are over there swimming.
Absolutely amazing.
So huge.
Right, let's take a minute to observe how big this boat is.
It's huge.
And like I said, it's got one, two, three, four floors.
And each floor has, well, you got a dance area on the first floor.
Second floor, I think you have a phone party.
And then you got the lounge decks on top.
And you got the main deck on the top where we are.
As you can see, you craft the boat back here.
And you're literally a few yards away from the beautiful beaches.
And it's like one, two, three, four, five stories.
Let's see what Elaine, Marianne, Ava and Vanessa are doing.
And see if they can get in and go and swim.
Paradise Beach, people are swimming all around us.
And there's up to a thousand people on this boat.
I don't know how many people.
Jamaica.
You can say Wagwan.
Right, he's asking, I just say, how are you in Jamaican?
There's a bin over there, actually.
My, my, my, just put them all in the bin.
Take everyone, take everyone.
Look, that white thing there, there's a hole at the top.
In fact, you guys can go walk with him.
Go for a walk to the bin.
Right, we've been treated to some ice cream by the captain and his crew.
Courtesy of the lust of the king's paradise.
So, so far, what do you think, Elaine?
I love it.
It's very nice.
It's great.
For a family, it's been amazing.
The kids love it.
As you can see, they're relaxing.
They're eating ice creams.
You can buy, if you want to, we haven't.
But if you want to and you do drink, you can buy alcohol.
You can buy, and there's loads of free drinks for the kids.
And also food will be served at some point.
So, yeah, really good.
Really exciting.
And the water looks so nice out there.
They're all diving off the back.
And actually, they've even got no seadew water things to rent for 10 euros.
It's not bad.
It's cheap.
It's about 35, 40 euros on the beach.
So, you know, it's, it's quite an experience to go and you can dive a bit.
You can go around.
So, so 10 euros, 15 minutes.
I think it's really good price.
So that's something we might try.
I don't know.
Yeah.
It looks really cool.
Anyway, Magnum.
Promotion.
I got saved by the ice cream this time.
I'm with the main man, Kapitan.
Kapitan of the ship.
And it's been a fantastic trip.
This is the view from the helm.
And Kapitan's got a very important job keeping everyone safe and enjoying themselves.
What's your name, Kapitan?
Henry.
So this is the guy who is the captain of the ship.
So just give me a view of what it looks like.
What the captain sees when you come on his boat.
It's the largest pirate ship in Alanya.
And it's called the Last King.
All right.
Right.
And this is the only Kapitan on our ship today.
Anyway, I'm going to go back and show you more of the ship.
It's a beautiful journey.
And you can see Cleopatra Beach in front of us.
So we're going to go back upstairs and film some more of the action.
Thank you, Kapitan.
You're welcome.
Thank you.
That's cool.
Right.
That's me and the Kapitan.
So yes, we're in the queue waiting for some food.
Yes.
And it's not too long.
Daph says it is mahoosiv, but apparently not too long.
Probably going to be about a two minute wait.
We've got chicken, chips, bread, salad.
That's cool.
Yes, we have to queue up like everyone else.
Chris did try.
But he got told, go to the back of the queue.
Well, technically, I wasn't told to go back to the queue.
I think I was going to, but I thought, I'll wait.
I said, the line's not too long, so let's go and wait.
But I saw Elaine waiting in the queue and I thought, right, this has destroyed it for me.
They diplomatically said, oh, it won't be too long.
This queue goes faster than the other one.
Because someone was in a line and they clearly saw that someone's waiting.
So why are you trying to push in?
Anyway, thank you, Elaine.
But yeah, guys, not too bad, really.
You know, and you've got little compartments as well where you can sit and eat.
Or alternatively, you've got the top deck, which has got like sunbeds
and you can go up there and chill and eat and just enjoy the outdoor.
The food is very, very nice.
Some pasta, some chicken, some salad and some, what's that called?
It's just Turkish rice.
Turkish rice and obviously your Turkish bread.
Chris has abandoned me and I've got a whole melon ice cream full to myself.
Straight after swimming, what better than that, guys?
We have come to the end of our trip.
It's been a fantastic day.
And on the last king, it's an amazing boat.
I've shown you what happens.
I've shown what we've done.
I've shown you Elaine's swimming.
We're having fun.
It's just an amazing, amazing experience.
You need to come and try it.
The last king.
Look at the setting.
If you want to win and you want to do this with your family, you can too.
You can do all this.
You can enjoy yourself and come out and enjoy Turkey or wherever you are in the world.
But yeah, for today, we're having fun as a family on the last king.
What more can we want?
Nice to meet you, my friend.
Yes.
