Happy Wednesday. So my sawing thing got postponed. The folks bringing the big burl,
they have a trailer problem so not cutting that today. But they're still coming by for social
visits so we'll do that at some point here. Hello Toasty. Goodbye Toasty. Let's take a quick look
at these things that came in yesterday. All right this is all silver maple. I think it looks like
there's two trees here. So there's this chunk here this base. It's probably I would say four
and a half feet across in that general area. This is some kind of crazy multi stem limb looking thing
and then there's the other tree which I can't even get all in frame here. It's probably like
seven feet across here and it's got all kinds of gnarly limage. There we go there's that one and
then this might be actually in our third tree maybe even. There's that guy and then this one's
got this crap pocket and a nice little crotchle down here. I thought this was kind of cool. It
had this really cool pink color which you don't usually see until they're sitting around for a
this might be kind of cool to saw now and see a little more color
in the wood then like that which is normally what you'd see with all white. We got some fun color in
it. There's some more of that color there that that looks like it went right there and people
usually ask about the economics of this having whatever tree service or grapple truck would ever
drop off a bunch of logs. So here's here's what that looks like. A lot of people ask if I pay for
it or not. A lot of times no. How it typically works out in everybody's favor is that the tree
services have to haul that stuff to a disposal site and they pay per ton to dispose of whatever
they have in their truck. So if it works out well where they have basically a truck load that only
has logs in it like they're they set the logs aside they took all the brush already in that
truck dumped it and then came back to pick up the logs and then take those logs that are already in
the truck and drive it to the dump. They could drive it here and drop it off and not pay a
disposal so they save the disposal fee they got to drive it somewhere anyway so it works out for
everybody. There you go 32 inch wiper blade done.
