Video Summary
AI Generated
This video examines the professions most vulnerable to AI displacement and provides a strategic roadmap for adaptation. The speaker argues that while AI replaces repetitive tasks and commodity skills, it cannot replicate personal identity, trust, or high-level problem-solving. The key to survival is pivoting from competing on volume to building a personal brand and specialized expertise.
So in this video, we're going to be talking about the top jobs that AI is replacing right now.
And by the end of the video, I promise that you will know exactly where you stand.
Now, some of these jobs are already gone.
Some are being cut as we speak and some are careers that people are still going in debt
in order to train for right now while the door is quietly closing behind them.
And by the way, this is coming from someone who has spent the last decade studying
which careers actually pay, which ones are dying
and helping over a thousand people rebuild when their old path fell apart.
So when I tell you which jobs are in trouble, I am not guessing and I am not fear-mongering.
Last year, AI was cited in over 54,000 job cuts.
This is the first time in history that it topped that list.
And the pattern that I keep seeing from people who get hit
and who come out ahead is they stop trying to out-compete the machine
at the thing that the machine is good at.
They're doing the one thing that AI physically cannot do
and I will show you exactly what that is.
So I'm going to walk you through every job on this list,
what is happening, who it's already happened to, and what the smart ones did next.
And by the way, every number here is from real sources.
I've got the receipts.
So these are not made-up AI numbers.
So if you appreciate us doing extreme due diligence on all these videos
and you want us to make more of them in the future,
then let us know by gently cheers in that like button.
Let's jump into it right now.
All right.
So let's start with the one that surprised everybody
and that is software engineers and software developers.
This was supposed to be the safe job that went first.
So software engineers were supposed to be the safest job of the decade.
Learn to code, they said.
Name your salary, work from anywhere.
Then AI learned to code too
and companies realized that they need fewer humans to ship the same product.
Amazon cut 14,000 corporate jobs
and CEO Andy Jassy told staff flat out
that AI means they will need fewer people doing the jobs that are being done today.
Microsoft cut around 15,000.
Salesforce, Meta, and Cisco all did the same
and Cisco openly admitted the cuts were because of AI.
Now a good example of what happens next is a guy who goes by Asian Dad Energy.
He got laid off after 25 years in tech.
25 years and he was gone.
So he sat down and he told the whole story,
the anxiety, the sacrifice, the part that nobody talks about.
This layoff has led me to feel very confused,
disoriented, a little bit excited as well.
And that one video got over 1.3 million views
and that video did not just get him sympathy.
It started making him money
and on some days he made more money than the job ever did.
So he turned the layoff into the best thing that happened to him.
Another one is Maria Talks Tech,
a senior software engineer who got laid off
and made a video literally asking,
did AI replace me?
And Megan Liu, a data scientist who lost her six-figure tech job
and put the whole thing on camera.
Same story over and over.
The job disappeared
and the ones who documented their story out loud landed something better.
Now, there's a few caveats here that I just want to cover very quickly.
One, most of the people who lost their jobs were typically junior devs,
people who were kind of trying to learn and they weren't as skilled.
And two, companies are now basically hiring a ton of people back.
So if you are a skilled developer or a skilled engineer,
in my opinion, your job is still completely safe.
Of course, you might get laid off
if your entire department gets laid off or something like that,
but you're going to get a job elsewhere very quickly.
So I know this is pretty obvious advice,
but make sure that you're very skilled
and make sure that you're just a good problem solver in general
because if you're a really good problem solver,
it doesn't really matter if the tech changes,
you're going to be able to adapt very quickly and solve the problems.
YouTube and building your personal brand just got 10 times easier
and nobody's talking about it.
And the reason it got 10 times easier is because of AI and specifically Cloud AI.
And that's what we're going to be talking about
in this week's live training that we're doing.
Click the link down the description in the pinned comment below.
I will be there.
I'll be answering questions before, during, and after.
We'll also be giving you an AI
that's been designed to help you pick your niche
if you don't have one in the first place
or if you already have one,
it's going to help you make it 10 times better.
So we worked very hard on this AI.
People absolutely love it.
We've literally gotten hundreds of comments from people that love it.
So you do not want to miss out on it.
And if you're watching this in the future for whatever reason
or it's already past the time of the live training,
still click on that link
because we will be having more live trainings in the future
and you will be the first person to know
because it'll put you on a wait list for that.
But with that being said, it's completely free.
No reason not to attend.
Click that link in the description in the pinned comment below
and I'll see you on the other side.
All right, next is a job that AI came for first and hardest
and that was translators and interpreters.
And basically this is pretty simple.
You turn one language into another
and this is one of the very first white-collar jobs
that AI got genuinely good at.
Why pay a human for every document
when a model does it in seconds for pennies?
Duolingo went, quote,
AI first, off-boarded about 10% of its contractors
and primarily translators and writers,
then launched 148 AI generated courses
and the CEO literally said,
I want to make it official.
Duolingo is going to be an AI first company
and a perfect example is a woman who runs a channel
called Midlife Crisis Diaries.
Cambridge degree, chartered linguist
and over 15 years as a professional translator
and AI took the whole career.
So at 39, she started completely over
and she did it out loud, on camera,
telling the truth about starting again.
Things have been deteriorating for a while in terms of work.
Slowly over the past 12 to 18 months, thanks to AI.
And that video has almost 300,000 views
and thousands of people in the comments saying, me too.
Then there's a translator named Bolin,
10 years in the field who, to put it bluntly,
translation, or at least the way he did it,
just is not viable anymore
and people showed up to listen.
Now, just to be clear, the translators
that typically got laid off were the ones
who did bulk commodity translation,
entry-level interpreters,
and anyone competing purely on just speed
or price of straightforward text.
And the ones who survived were people
that were in high-stakes translation or interpretation,
such as legal, medical, and technical specialists,
literary translators, live or simultaneous interpreters,
for instance, people at diplomatic conferences
where every single word matters,
post editors and AI output reviewers,
and niche language pairs, right?
So the people who survived were high-stakes,
high-specialization, or legally
or ethically required human accountability professionals.
But the ones who got wiped out were commodity,
low-stakes, and price-competitive professionals.
So again, same exact pattern here.
Generally speaking, the people that were higher-skilled
or more specialized were the ones who did well.
And that brings us into a third one,
which is surprising, and that is sales.
Now, let me just be very clear here.
Sales is incredibly safe
if you choose the right type of sales job,
but there are certain types of sales jobs
that actually were affected by AI.
So sales might feel AI-proof
until you realize how much of it is now automated outreach,
AI chat agents, and software closing the simple stuff
before a human ever picks up the phone.
So a video from TechSalesWithHigherLevels
covered a video about AI taking over sales jobs.
A lot of fear in the market,
and this isn't gonna be a blind, like, everything's okay.
Like, there's a lot changing.
And they talked about which jobs are being taken over
and which ones are safe.
And a lot of the really repetitive,
really basic stuff is being taken over.
But the truth is, this is the stuff
that human beings probably didn't wanna do anyways.
And this is where I wanna introduce you
to one of our community members named Isaiah Harris.
Now, Isaiah almost got laid off from his sales job,
and instead of waiting for it to happen,
he bet on himself.
He found my free content, started watching,
showed up to one of my live trainings,
which you can check out by clicking the link
in the description and the pinned comment below.
And off that alone, he got to $20,000 in a single month.
And he did this by building his YouTube channel out.
Then he went deeper, and he grew a brand-new channel
to 9,000 subscribers and 33,000 in profit.
And recently, he crossed over 100,000 in revenue
from that exact channel.
And this is the same guy who was about
to lose his sales job.
And here's what he figured out,
and what every person on this list
figured out the hard way.
AI might be able to replace your job,
but it cannot replace you.
It cannot replace your face, your story, your name,
your problem-solving ability,
your ability to adapt to new circumstances,
and an audience that trusts you.
So if you wanna learn exactly how Isaiah
was able to do this, click the link in the description
and the pinned comment below
to attend my completely free live training.
And also, we'll be giving away an AI
that helps you pick your niche
or dial in the existing niche that you already have.
All right, so next one on the list
is genuinely painful to watch,
and that is illustrators, concept artists,
and 3D artists that spent years mastering their crafts,
and image generators can now spit out
basically the same work in 10 seconds,
what used to take days.
And clients noticed,
and a lot of them just stopped hiring.
So a Harvard study found
that image generation freelance gigs
dropped by around 17%
within eight months of the Chat GPT launching,
and it continued to go down from there.
And a writer named Bryant Merchant
documented working artists losing gigs, wages,
and hope as their bosses switched to AI.
He even said it in this video,
The Human Cost of AI and Automation.
The machinery could not produce
just as it cannot today with creative works.
It could not produce work
that was nearly on par with what was being produced
by the skilled artisans, the skilled craftsmans.
It was an inferior mass-produced alternative.
Another example is an illustrator named Holly Exley.
She found that her own art was scraped
to train the models replacing her.
And she made a video about watching her industry
get devalued in real time.
I'm sure that there are AI systems out there
that can reproduce work that's very similar,
if not identical to my style,
because I've seen this happen to other artists.
Now, by the way, there's a lot of talk
of class action lawsuits, et cetera,
because the AI models in many cases
did actually scape real artists
and never gave them credit.
But that's a topic for another video.
Then there's Lady Blumencall,
an art student who watched AI take over her field
before she even had graduated.
And that video hit 276,000 views.
And then Mohamed Agbadi,
who broke down how the flood of AI art
on places like Etsy is killing the income
that artists used to count on.
Now, every one of them did the same thing,
and that is they stopped hiding
and they started talking.
Same thing with graphic designers, of course.
There's this guy who made a video
about being laid off after 25 years
in the design industry.
After 25 years working in the creative industry,
I was fired.
And I can definitely speak to this one
as someone who's an expert on YouTube thumbnails.
AI is very useful for making the thumbnails.
But if you aren't actually good
at making thumbnails in the first place
and you don't know what a good thumbnail looks like,
AI will just help you make more sh** thumbnails,
if I'm being honest.
And it'll help you do it faster as well.
And the best thumbnail designers in the world
on YouTube are still getting paid a premium
to make good thumbnails.
Now, here's another one that I saw.
This is copywriters and content writers.
And this is a job that AI came for really fast
and it actually made headlines.
And copywriters and content writers
basically get paid to put out words on a page.
And there's a chatbot that writes a thousand words
in five seconds for free.
And this is a pretty good tool for a cost-cutting company.
Now, a perfect example of this is Alex Wei.
He wrote blog articles for an online business for years
and then they replaced him with AI and let him go.
So he made one video about it called,
I lost my freelance writing job to AI
and that video got over 780,000 views.
This is 780,000 off the exact thing that got him fired.
And how else can I say it?
Recently, I lost this job to AI.
And he made a follow-up and by then it was not a sob story.
It was a start of something bigger.
And so it's pretty obvious that when life gave him lemons,
he turned it into lemonade.
And if I'm being honest with you guys,
like AI is not that much different
from every other technological advancement
that's pretty much happened
since the free market became a thing.
It's not that different from social media
or the internet or computers or vehicles
or farm equipment for that matter, right?
Well, hundreds of years ago
when farm equipment first came out,
almost everybody worked on farms.
That's how they made a living.
And then farm equipment came out
and they pretty much all lost their jobs.
But then what happened?
Well, tons of other jobs popped up
and these jobs were in many cases way better
than the jobs that people were working on farms.
And then the Industrial Revolution happened
and lots of factory jobs got automated by machines.
A lot of people lost their jobs
and then even more jobs popped up
that were way better than the factory jobs
and on and on.
You can just go example after example after example,
even industry-specific examples.
For instance, when ATMs first came out,
all the bankers were thinking
that they were going to lose their jobs
and the bank tellers and all that.
And what ended up happening is,
yeah, a lot of the people that could only count cash,
that was their only skill, lost their jobs.
But then it just shifted over
to instead of counting cash
because that's something that a machine can easily do,
they started giving really good service at banks.
And what do you know?
Banks still employ a ton of people.
So in many cases when these types of things happen,
whenever one job gets eliminated,
lots of other jobs pop up.
It's kind of like whack-a-mole.
You hit one mole and two moles pop up.
But second of all, people's standards for service goes up.
And so the ATM example is a perfect example of that, right?
Before ATMs came out,
people's standards for service was probably pretty low.
When you interacted with a teller,
most of the time they were just going to be counting cash.
But after that the standard went up
and banks had to hire people
that were really good at customer service
and were really good at making sure
that people had a good time when they visited the bank.
And it made transactions
and all the different services they did
faster, easier, and better.
And actually so many of the people
that we've trained in our community
are doing better than ever in the age of AI
and they're doing it in many cases
by teaching people how to get into jobs.
And in many cases,
they're doing it with very alternative methods.
Ways of making a living that didn't exist
five or ten years ago.
People like Isaiah, for instance,
that are teaching people online
how to get better at singing.
And again, if you want to learn exactly how to do that,
go ahead and click the link in the description
in the pinned comment below
to attend my completely free live training
where I'll be telling you exactly how we got Isaiah results
and I'll be helping you to pick your niche as well.
Now, I know that 99% of you out there
are just going to enjoy my free content.
You're going to enjoy my completely free live trainings
that I definitely do not have to do,
but I do it because I genuinely enjoy helping you guys
and we are never going to end up working together
and that's completely fine.
But for the 1% or 0.1% of you out there
that do actually want one-on-one coaching
or you literally just want us to do the work for you
when it comes to building your personal brand
or growing your YouTube channel,
then go ahead and click the link to schedule a call.
It should be the second link in the description
in the pinned comment below.
Only schedule this call
if you're very serious about growing
and making money on YouTube.
We can only work with a small amount of people
one-on-one at a time
and we typically only accept about 18% of people
who apply.
The types of people we typically work with
are professionals,
usually people that have some experience.
A lot of the time they're on the older side
and they have a lot of value to give to society
and a lot of things that they can share.
Also business owners that want to get more leads,
get more sales and grow their brand.
YouTubers who are getting a lot of views
but struggling with monetization.
YouTubers who are crushing it
and they want to crush it even harder.
And people who are content creators on other platforms
but they want to transition over to YouTube
because they know that YouTube is the best for monetization.
So if that sounds like you,
go ahead and click the link in the description
in the pinned comment below
and we look forward to talking to you.
With that being said,
check out this video right here
on exactly how we helped Isaiah
use YouTube to quit his job
and make a full-time income
doing what he loves.
