In today's video I'm going to share with you the Christmas decorating trends for 2026. Keep watching.
Hey, hey you guys. We are at the Rast Team Force showroom in Las Vegas with Christian. Yes. He is
one of the designers here in this showroom and we wanted to bring you the Christmas trends for 2026
so that you guys can be inspired. Now we are in front of the Home for the Holidays. Correct. Which
is a very traditional theme. My favorite one I have to say. And I want to call this out. I'm
gonna say in front of you. Yes of course. Fruit is going to be big for the next at least three to
four years. This theme includes some fruit and I want Christian to explain to us a little bit about
what it goes. How does this break down the process for me on how you come up with such a stunning
look. So Home for the Holidays it is our number one trending collection for 2026. We knew that
you know a year ago when we started working on themes and thinking about where what we were
going to propose for 2026. I kind of felt that you know ahead of time. Zane who's our showroom
manager in Dallas actually he and I collaborate a lot on the creative process of a lot of things
for the company. And we both love traditional product. We love traditional Christmas. Again we
felt that it was going to come in strong. I mean we started playing around with some items that we
had in the showroom last January actually. From there we went home. We knew that we had meetings
coming up. And as we curated some of those items we saw something something there. We knew to your
exact point fruit was going to have a stronger play this year. We love the citrus colors and
instead of having everything be sugared or everything be you know a little bit more
rustic when it came to the fruit we wanted to feel more citrusy. So we knew that keeping the
citrus in the collection was going to be important. Then tying in those you know tartan plaids,
tying in the sugared berries, just all of those added layers and components we found really
interesting. And that's really where the collection was born. Now as I look at this tree you guys is
really standard. I want to point out the fact that you guys use the same ribbon two ways. Can you
you'll see a close-up of this. That's intriguing to me. How do you even think about doing the same
ribbon in two ways? So I mean most companies are going to sell most ribbons in at least two to three
different widths right. Yeah. And we know that layering the ribbons it has its peaks. I mean
I've been doing that for 20-25 years. Yeah. And again just kind of understanding what's you know
popular on social media, what's popular amongst customers. A lot of designers are using different
patterns together. Yeah. This is a traditional theme. It's something that needed to be classic.
So we wanted to you know continue to protect those trends. The customers that love doing
those looks. But why not do it with the exact same tartan ribbon having the back of it be a
little bit different right. So one of them has a green back, the other one has a blue back,
and that's really where your difference is at. So you'll see that the edging is a little bit
different and then the back is a little bit different. But it was important to keep the
front of the ribbon the same. That again gives you the layering that you want, the multi-colors that
you want, without adding so many patterns to the tree. That is such a great tip. I've never seen
it done before. It's something that I'm going to steal from you. Of course. Moving forward and
teaching people how to lay ribbon. Ribbon is one of the main trends right now. Correct. Ribbon is
so popular because there's just the possibilities are endless. And the way they lay, you guys will
see it as we continue in the video, the different ways they lay ribbon on their tree. So I say they
let the tree breathe and show and they don't really jam it with the ribbon. Which is a look
and if you like it that's fine. We're not here against it. Right. But this lets you really
actually have the tree be more of a start of the show. Which at the end of the day, the Christmas
tree is the Christmas centerpiece of the home, right? It is. So when you have such a stunning
piece like this one, you do want it. And so there's ways like this one of laying ribbon
where it's a little bit more intentional. And I mean like once again, it's Sasha, it caught my eye
and I know it all caught yours when I teach you how to do it. So Christian, let's move over a little
bit over this way where I want to talk about this mental piece right here. So if Jamie can actually
come and follow us over here. Can we talk about this focal point with a fruit once again? How does
this, the layering of the, I want people to know that this is not one garland. It's not, no. So
Zane actually helped put the room together here in Las Vegas. It was, he finally got a chance to play
in something that he helped to create. So you know, with my delay coming into the showroom,
he stepped in and really kind of took on to this collection and which I love that he had a chance
to do. So he actually is the one that put the mantle together with the help of some of our
designers that helped him get some of those ribbon components added in. But you know, we
do use a base garland in here and then we layered in some of our fruit picks and then really, you
know, had a couple of those ribbons again placed into the tree. One thing that was important here
was for it to have an asymmetrical feeling. So again, this is a very traditional room. How do
you do traditional a little bit different? Having the detail of something that's asymmetrical,
it's not uncomfortable for people that don't like this look. They will, it's very approachable
still. So that's kind of how that came together. And I remember walking into the showroom my first
day upon arrival and he'd already gotten started and it looked so beautiful. And I, you know, I
love that he got to work on this collection, the job that he did putting it together.
Yes. Now I do want to mention also that this is something you guys, that it doesn't take a few
minutes. They take hours and hours. Can you tell us how long did it take? Because I asked earlier,
and this is interesting for people to know at home because they want to, they think that these
trees get put together in like 20 minutes. How long did it take you to put a Christmas tree
together? I mean, it could, the time varies. A seven and a half foot tree or a nine foot tree
in the showroom, they're a little bit easier for us. So those, you know, six to seven hours, maybe
when they get larger, it's along more hours. But even when you're doing a smaller tree,
the first iteration of it is always going to be the hardest. And a first iteration of a tree can
go on for one or two days. And it's really understanding that are the components working
correctly? Did we layer the right things in there? We can finish a tree and it's happened
several of times. And that's something that I like to drive home, not just, you know, to designers,
not just to the end consumer, to anybody that's listening. You have to step away from a project
and you have to come back to the project. When you know in your gut that something's not working,
it's because something's not working. And it happens to us in the showroom all the time.
And it has nothing to do with the designer, not being a good designer. Something's just off.
It could be from the curation of the product. It could be that maybe we didn't have enough
samples that showed up. So you have to step away, right? So the rooms, each room in Dallas
put together took several days. Once we got out of that and we got it curated down, then the install
in Atlanta went a little bit quicker because we sort of had it figured out. And then we get to
Vegas and we have a very short time to get Vegas showroom together. So by this point, it takes less.
Yes. I want to mention this because the viewers at home might be thinking,
so let me clear this out for you. So they do Dallas first, the showrooms in Dallas at the
market center and then Atlanta, and then they come here. So how long does that take from
Dallas till the end of Vegas? So the process actually for Raz, it's not necessarily true
for everyone else. So for Raz as a company, our process, when it comes to the physical side of
the showroom begins the last day of our fall market, which is in September. So the very last
day of fall market, in fact, the very last hours of fall market, we are already running around the
room breaking down. Over the next three to four weeks, we continue breaking down the room and
condensing what we'll move forward and what we'll present, what we will curate to continue to
present in the next season. Once we do that part of it, we've been working for again, a year getting
ready to flip the showroom. So then in that process, we do build out, we do design directive
meetings. I fly with the team over to Atlanta. We look at the room, we explore where collections
live, how they're going to fit. It's a long process. Finally, in October, we start seeing
the sets come together. So that's when props come in, paint comes in. That's kind of like when we
get to the fun part because we really see the visuals start coming to life. In November, our
design team and merchandising team lands for the first time in the Dallas showroom
and it's get to work time. And I mean, it is get to work time and they are an incredible team.
And then of course, from there we go to Atlanta. We have a small break, you know, of a few days to
celebrate the Thanksgiving holidays. But first of December, we are in Atlanta and we are ready to
rock and roll. It's a copy and paste from the first one. It is not just that. It is not that simple
because, you know, the showrooms aren't exactly the same. The layouts are very different. The size
of each showroom is very different. So again, just, you know, something will show completely
differently in those showrooms. And so it's trusting our design team to adapt to their new
spaces and knowing that there are 15 collections that we have to bring to life. There are 5,000
items that have to get placed. That's 5,000 sample items. That does not include all of the design
items. That does not include all of the oversized props and installations that we do. Those are
5,000 SKUs that have to be placed in the showroom for us to open our doors. So it's a very lengthy
process with an amazing team of designers and merchandisers. I've been, so two things. First of
all, we recorded this earlier and I have to re-record it. And one thing I mentioned is that I'm
going to lobby to be a fly on the wall one of these days at RAS as they work on this, putting
this together. Because I would like to see how the process is. I think you guys are so fortunate to
have somebody like Christian explain to you what goes behind all of these Christmas trends for the
year. And it's not something that you just open the doors and you already know. It takes months of
preparation. A very long time. And guess what you guys, so they finish and they finish with the market
and then they have to like literally take a few days off and start planning the next one. Yes, so
we fly home this week. We'll have a few days off. Meetings are already on the calendar for spring and
summer. So that's been in the works now for about six months. Our team is getting ready to go
overseas, visit our vendors, start selecting all of that product and send it back. So as soon as,
actually in this last week that I'm here, we're already looking at how rooms come together,
reaching out to the team. So they've only had hours to rest before we quickly have to flip to
the next season to make it happen. It is crazy. Alright you guys, so I'm going to leave you with
some B-roll of this beautiful theme, Home for the Holidays. It's just absolutely striking. And then we'll
be back to show you another one. So keep watching. Take care guys. Alright you guys, so I want to
highlight this beautiful theme right here. A few things that I want to mention. Number one is the
color palette. It is super sweet. It has some pastels in it and I just love the addition of the plaid.
Like I said, this oversized sinta hats are perhaps one of my favorite things that I've seen this year
here at market. And then also the layer of the ribbon, the waist layer and the combination and
contrast of the pattern. The plaid is a very playful plaid. And then you have that beautiful,
luxurious red velvet. And also over here I want to feature this big wreath they put together and
all of these beautiful gingerbread men items. And look at this sinta. I'm going to pick them up so
you guys can see how cute. With the cookies hanging and the little cake right here. And just look at
how oversized this beautiful wreath is. I love the addition of all of the beautiful ribbons, the
combinations of it. And let's pan out this way Jameson. So that way we can highlight some of
these items. Once again, all the tabletops just really well coordinate to the Christmas tree and
some of the ornaments over here. They look so sweet and ready to eat. I just absolutely love
them. It is so much fun. And if you fold me over to this side, I want to point out this. This is
your ornament Jameson right here. Yes it is. All right, so we'll end right here with this selection
of ornaments. You guys, this is just so much fun and I'm so grateful that they gave us the opportunity
to come to their showroom and share with you some of the hottest decorating trends for 2026. And I
really hope that you are enjoying this video. Let me show you more. All right you guys, so we have
landed at this beautiful theme right here which I absolutely adore. It is traditional and I love
the way that they did this with a play of a more bright and traditional color like the green. It
really pops from all of this greenery. I want to point out right here on the wreath the way they
did the bow to the side. And these cute little characters have that little blanky. Aren't those
just so sweet? And then also another thing I want to point out is this big oversized ornament that
is more like a hero piece. It really stands out on the Christmas tree and it is super super cute.
This is something perfect if you have children. You know I'm always telling you Christmas is all
for the kids anyways. So we're gonna move over to this side if my cameraman will follow me.
I will share with you this absolutely gorgeous piece right here. This is a very colorful and
playful look. It is sweet. The colors are pastels and it is just absolutely gorgeous the way they
turned out. I want to point out some of these ornaments right here if my cameraman will get
close to them. Isn't this just adorable? I absolutely love it and if you notice all the pastel colors
really create this gorgeous look. Check out this finial ornament and it's almost like a
vintage color. So if you follow me over this way cameraman this is one of my favorite colors that I
absolutely love. Look how playful and how bright this is with addition of gold and look at this
ornament. You guys this is glass. Isn't that just absolutely amazing? Once again all of this just
creates a very playful look that I absolutely love. Now I'm gonna flip around so you guys can see how
they display all of the products that go with the collection. So it's not just about the Christmas
tree but it's about all of the table top, all the decorating and all of the items that you need. Now
another thing Jameson if you don't mind that I want to point out is this gorgeous nutcracker
that are made out of blue side. It's absolutely cute and they come in three different sizes
and one last thing that I want to share with you is this center right here which is to me
like an inspirational piece. It is super cute. It has some bubble gum and let's point out the
ornament over here. Isn't this just absolutely adorable? I love it. All right you guys so we're
going to move forward to our next theme here at Ross Imports Aesthetic and we are at Ross Imports
and I wanted to share with you one of my favorite themes they have going on and it's this beautiful
nutcracker inspired gorgeous tree. I just want you to take a look at these beautiful ornaments
right here. Now this effect is created because the limbs are really sticking out from the Christmas
tree so you have the space to hang an ornament this large. I also want to mention right here in
the garland if Jameson told me right this way right here in the garland there's this beautiful
nutcracker hats. I just think they're so cute super adorable and they go so well
with the ornaments. Like I said it is a whole theme they have going on right here Ross.
So we are done with our vignette here at Las Vegas Market and I want to share with you
some of the details. I want my cameraman to get closer right here. We went ahead and added this
beautiful tree dishes with a beautiful pine charger and we did this treatment with a bow
right here. I just want you to take a look at these cute place card holders and one of my favorite
things has to be the flatware it has this gold flake on it and then also right here the stemware
and we did a tablescape with lots of beautiful lit up Christmas trees and if you can see the
Christmas tree has a lot of blue and white. The inspiration was the wool color. I just love blue
as I'm sure you know by now blue and white is one of my favorite things in the world so we decided
to pull that color into the ornaments into the area rug the throw and I just absolutely love
the way this turned out. It is elegant it is very lodgy and we call this theme Christmas at the
Lodge so I was inspired by one of my trips to Breaking Ridge Colorado. I just love that style
of decor and design and I love it so if my cameraman can come over this way I want to also
share this dish right here this platter and this beautiful crystal decanter. We did a set of four
glasses for your perhaps whiskey I don't know I don't drink so I don't know but when you put in
there I think I would put some punch on my on my decanter. I just absolutely love the way this
turned out. I am so thankful that I was given this opportunity to design this vignette here at
the Las Vegas market. Okay so I have landed at this gorgeous traditional theme that I absolutely
love. Some of the things that I want to highlight is how they cluster the ornaments right here you
guys. There is like a variety of ornaments and just so you know all of these ornaments are
wired one by one. They really take their time. Look at this gorgeous ornament right here. It has
a nutcracker theme but it's a more traditional palette with a burgundy. Burgundy is really hot
this year. It seems to be one of the colors that is up and coming so I'm calling it out. Burgundy
and also fruit are going to be trending for the next few years in the marketplace. So I want to
point out also right here some of the items like this look at these cute little tapered candles.
Once again it is about creating the whole story. Look at this spaniel right here. Wouldn't that be
gorgeous just on a swag on a door? But if we go back to the Christmas tree I want to highlight
the ribbon. The way they layer this ribbon it is a velvet and then also we have a two inch velvet
with the holly and the rhinestones. Some of these glass ornaments are just absolutely gorgeous and
it is worth mentioning you guys that these trees are not super packed with either ribbon or
ornaments. Why? Because we really want those Christmas trees to breathe and to have that air
so that your ornaments like all of these beautiful ornaments are made out of glass and really shine.
So I love it. Jameson can you back up a little bit so you can you see this sleigh on it?
It is absolutely gorgeous. This is something that if I had space in my house I would actually put
the Christmas tree on top of this sleigh and just let it spill all the way to the ground.
Now over here look at the selection of ornaments to go with this theme. You guys the possibilities
are just endless. Highlighting this one perhaps is my favorite. Isn't this Santa?
Just so gorgeous. Oh my eyes are twinkling with all of the glitter. So follow me over this way
we're going to end up this video in this area which we highlighted earlier with Christian
because it is my favorite. Like I said earlier fruit is up and coming. I know it's been it's been
I mean traditional it's been um it's coming back it's having a resurgence it's always been there
but this year all of the addition of the fruit it's very colonial to me and the plaids are also
making a comeback thanks to the Ralph Lauren theme. But I just want to say thank you so much
for watching I really hope that you enjoyed this video and I cannot wait to come back with even
more from market from other vendors and for you to be inspired to create some beautiful looks in
your home this holiday season. Thank you guys so much for watching. If you're new to the channel
