Japan 🇯🇵 vs. Bahrain 🇧🇭 - Highlights | AVC Men's Continental Championships 2026 | Pool Phase

Japan in the black and purple receiving for this men's ABC Volleyball Continental here in Fukuoka that's a great block it'll triple to get things going for Japan it's a great continuation it just goes as a kind of case it's a flat line isn't it so that is an ace serve that is a big point rams now on an uneven keel after being blocked stay tuned Clayton will have more running stats updates as we go that is a super serve that is a fantastic four players all moving on Arias take her off the ball watch the players movement and Ukatsu could have gone anywhere here synchronicity in the offense trust that the ball is going to be there where it needs to be high to target one good covering again Ishikawa deep for that one and that's some set to find Nishida forcing that one through but Bahrain still in the rally and Bahrain will take the point excellent work from them fantastic patience Japan looked like they've worked the situation so well in their cover and recycle play good set one good swing it's added to it setting this ball into the space between the two blockers Nishida wants to leave it just if you can when that ball comes in like that it's a perfect pass just watch the movement of all the players really tough decision to block to make against an offense that coordinated in that past well done that's well played stayed outside the antenna came back outside the antenna and that is the quality of Takashi Ran look at this hand look at this hand not around this hand look at this hand I'm playing even the other one the block from Bahrain doesn't do anything wrong here Takashi Ran has too many options available all right take the option of a timeout just a joy to watch again the space and the movement for the service team way off in it there was time for Onodera to make an adjustment Nishida puts a dent in the floor and Japan take the set 25 50 playing in the asian games after this away we go then set number two catch ball play on the opening point get a chance now for Bahrain after that monstrous Kaiju block Ishikawa one-on-one just not fast enough Ishikawa can see that one coming from a long way out so disciplined Ran once again free ball coming three front row attackers plus Ran on pipe Nishida behind Onodera in front with Ishikawa and it's Onodera oh he's still in play what a touch and they'll take the point not sure how much Bahrain knew about that Takatsu gets to serve oh he's down the side of Ran thought for a second he was down his own he was down the side of Bahrain and Stipe find a better solution in serve receive at the moment Nishida getting involved and he's giving it back here to Japan and they'll take another point so you're telling me Groza isn't a world-class server he is but a different kind of serve he is indeed i will tell him that through his face get in i just love it if Bahrain were doing this not a foot fault from Ishikawa monster block from Larry nice really good swing through the middle from Ali who's coming to the action nice tactical serve now there's a chance now there's a chance for Bahrain that'll do it the set goes the way of Japan 25 15 they lead Bahrain by two sets to nothing the way we go is set number three Bahrain with the serve Japan leading two sets to nothing it's a super touch Takatsu will keep this in play free ball Bahrain three front row attackers for them plus the pipe oh somehow that's not somehow it stays in play and i thought then for a minute that's a good ball nice side out that's more like it for Bahrain that's what's been missing that's a good save that's a good spot for a swing and they'll take it this is this is what the coach has been wanting and what the players have been wanting this is this is much overpass dispatched and Bahrain are on level terms which he has done heard himself free ball Bahrain four attacking options all moving and that is a great swing and look at this now Bahrain are back level and that's the man to hit the ball to right now he's been the one constant for Japan in this set that times the ball and arrives in that last step so well and so consistently Larry with the serve match point Japan saved by Bahrain here's a good serve lovely pass and Ran has found the baseline and that's it it's all over Japan have the win they have beaten Bahrain by three sets to nothing a much improved performance from Bahrain in set number three they'll be really pleased with that
