Magdalene (Chantel Riley), a talented Black artist who is colorblind, moves into a new, seemingly idyllic neighborhood with her young son. As they try to build a new life, they quickly find themselves in an environment where first impressions are not what they seem, and their new neighbors' attitudes present unexpected challenges.

This powerful social thriller explores themes of race, perception, and prejudice. Magdalene's physical colorblindness becomes a powerful metaphor as she and her son are challenged to see the "true colors" of the people around them, forcing them to confront hidden biases lurking beneath the surface.
