The family of Ricardo Baptiste is remembering the Lansdowne teacher and father who was tragically hit and killed on Labor Day weekend.
Investigators say Baptiste, 29, was walking along West Germantown Pike in East Norriton Sunday night, when he was hit by a car.
As he lay in the road, police say he was then also hit by a tractor-trailer.

We are now hearing from the family of a 29-year-old man struck and killed this past weekend by a driver who police believe may have been impaired at the time.
Investigators say Ricardo Baptiste was walking along West Germantown Pike in East Norton Sunday night when he was struck by a car.
As he lay in the road, police say he was then also hit by a tractor-trailer passing by.
Tonight, as police work to determine if that first driver was, in fact, under the influence, Baptiste's family is desperate for some answers here.
Action News reporter Sharifa Jackson live where this all happened. Sharifa, you spoke to that family today.
Yeah, Brian, this is such a tragic story. Today, the family, they came back to the scene where it all happened.
They say they have a lot of questions about what happened. They're still trying to process it all.
But they're speaking today because they say they want to honor their loved one and share more about who he was.
That Sunday morning, he was praying heavily. It's almost like his spirit knew.
Guy Leroy is mourning the loss of his 29-year-old brother, Ricardo Baptiste.
He died after being hit by a suspected drunk driver and then a tractor-trailer on Sunday night along Whitehall Road in West Germantown Pike in East Norton.
He was actually at the hospital for an unrelated matter, and he left the hospital, came down here, and that's when the driver, supposedly a drunk driver, killed him.
Police say Baptiste left the hospital around 9, 10 p.m. He was pronounced dead less than 40 minutes later.
East Norton Township Police say both drivers stayed at the scene.
The driver of the car, believed to be under the influence, was taken into custody, but as of today, no charges have been announced.
Whoever the driver was, I mean, I prayed for him as well.
Guy says he's still waiting for answers and hoping for accountability in this case.
The 29-year-old from Lansdowne was a kindergarten teacher and a father to a 3-year-old girl.
His family says he was the one to call if he needed help.
I didn't know how much of a lover he had until he passed away, and if I tell you how many people reached out, like, he was really loved by a lot of people.
Guy says he'll never stop grieving his younger brother, but there's one thing that gives him peace.
More than anything, he believed in God more than anything, and I know for a fact he's up there.
In the family, they say they're currently working on funeral arrangements. They plan to hold this funeral next week.
Now, as far as police, they say this is still a very active investigation.
For live in East Norton, Sharifah Jackson, Channel 6 Action News, Bryan.
