Hundreds of buses shuttle RNC attendees to American Airlines Center amid strict security

General admission tickets for the Republican Midterm Convention are being issued today. First come, first serve, and people with tickets are being shuttled from Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie to downtown Dallas. Fox Wars Dionne England joins us live from the park that opened at 10 o'clock this morning. Damn. Hi there, Eden. That's right. The view we have here is from a pretty good distance away, but we can see the area where people are driving in and being guided through this ticketing and transportation process. Now, we made it up to the entry checkpoint and we were told no media allowed beyond that spot. It seems vehicles and drivers satisfying the requested protocol. A confirmation email are being guided into the area where there are hundreds of buses awaiting. Now, from that point, there is ticket pickup. Then bus loading. We have seen golf carts at times moving people within the lot where the buses are. We're seeing buses leaving the lot as well. The destination, of course, the American Airlines Center in Dallas for the G. O. P. Midterm Convention, which is happening today and tomorrow. Now there is a steady stream of vehicles, a steady movement here. We're seeing vehicles that will enter and then maybe periodic breaks between those streams of vehicles. But again, as well, police presence here. It seems mainly to make sure that the process goes smoothly and to block access to areas that are restricted. But for now, that's what we're seeing here as things continue this afternoon. Even back to you. Certainly a busy day from Grand Prairie to downtown Dallas. Dion. Thanks so much.
