Canada got caught! They were in secret talks with the Chinese military but it got exposed. And now the US Canada trade war is entering a dangerous new phase.
Operation Honey Pot: Paste this emoji šÆ in your comment below.
Tensions between the US and Canada have gotten so bad,
Canada is starting up talks with the Chinese military.
This won't end well.
Welcome to China Uncensored, I'm Chris Chappell.
So this is interesting.
According to Chinese state-run media,
China and Canada have resumed military talks after an 8-year break.
With the 5th China-Canada Defense Coordination Dialogue held in Canada on September 4.
As an American, this is like watching your ex try to get back at you by
dating the worst person you know.
Keep in mind, we didn't hear about this from our ally Canada.
They made no public announcement about it whatsoever.
No, we heard about it first from China.
But while Canada is being a mum about defense talks,
there's something I definitely need to talk to you about.
AI.
Which is why I'm happy to be working with today's sponsor, Outskill.
You see, in 2026, AI is more accessible than it's ever been.
But the hardest part is knowing which AI tool to use for what.
If you're the type of person at your company who knows more about AI than anyone else,
then AI won't be coming for your job.
Your boss will be coming to promote you.
So the real question is, how do you become that person?
And that's why I want to introduce you to Outskill's 3-hour AI tools workshop.
The same one my team attended.
And we're already using what we learned to help make this show better and save us time.
This training is happening live again this Saturday,
10am Eastern, and Outskill has made it completely free for you, my viewers.
More than 12 million people worldwide have already attended one of these workshops.
And you'll be learning straight from people who've worked at Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and NVIDIA.
By the end, you'll know exactly which AI tools to use for what,
how to build agents that plan and report for you,
and how to connect tools like Sheets and Notion into systems that just run while you sleep.
And the best part?
There are bonus sessions that keep unlocking new tools, plus extras like an AI prompt library,
and a personalized AI toolkit builder worth $5,000 completely free.
Three hours can change the next three years.

Alright, so back to Canada holding military talks with China.
And being all Johnny Tightlips about it, I ain't saying nothing.
The Globe and Mail reached out to the Canadian Defense Department,
which confirmed that the talks happened, but said,
as a matter of long-standing practice, the government of Canada doesn't publicize
working-level meetings by officials.
Convenient, because that allowed the CCP to completely control the narrative here.
So what did they have to say about it?
They said that the two sides expressed willingness to strengthen practical exchanges
and cooperation between the two militaries.
Hmm. Cooperation between the Chinese and Canadian militaries. Yeah,
that sounds like a fantastic thing for world stability and security.
Especially since the last time the Chinese and Canadian militaries cooperated,
the Chinese PLA accepted an invitation from Canada
to observe winter survival training in Petawawa, just north of the US.
That was back in 2018.
So why reopen military talks now?
Why, the best reason to get into a relationshipāspite!
Just a couple weeks ago, the US and Canada trade talks broke down,
with Carney framing the situation as Canada being attacked by Trump
and that it's a war with the US.
Thanks to unjustified and unprovoked tariffs from the United States.
So less a war and more of a trade war.
I can see why Carney leaves the messaging to China.
According to Carney, Canada has no choice but to get closer to China.
But here's the thing that you need to know.
Carney's push for closer ties with China isn't a response to the current trade war with the US.
After all, Carney said this about his talks with China way back in January.
I believe the progress that we have made in the partnership
sets us up well for the new world order.
Carney's push for Canada to get closer to China isn't even about Trump.
Carney's agenda has been to get Canada closer with China from the very beginning.
He's simply using Trump and his many memesābird meme, hmm, that's a new oneā
as an excuse to pursue closer ties with China.
In 2012, way before becoming Prime Minister,
Carney was the governor of the Bank of Canada.
And he urged firms to reorient to China.
Which is offensive because I don't think you're supposed to use the word orient anymore.
And he followed through with his own advice.
During his time as Brookfield Asset Management's chair,
and as head of former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's Economic Growth Task Force,
Carney facilitated a $276 million loan for Brookfield Asset Management
from the state-run Bank of China.
And oversaw the creation of a $1 billion investment fund
to support China's Belt and Road Initiative.
Which, if you've followed how those projects turn out,
is a worse investment than casting Bill Cosby as Prince Philip in Sleeping Beauty.
It wasn't just Canada that reoriented to China.
When Carney became governor of the UK's Bank of England,
he deepened the UK's financial ties to China,
and floated the idea of using China's yuan as a global reserve currency.
Is it just me, or does this sound like he basically
roped Britain into the world's biggest MLM scam?
Should have just stuck to essential oils on Facebook, Carney.
Carney's one of those guys who's bought into the idea that the US
is in decline, and China is now at the center of everything.
And he's trying to sell people on this terrible idea like...well...Carney.
And he has made things worse by entering into some pretty horrible trade deals with China.
Including one that would open Canada to Chinese EVs.
Though on the bright side, it'll make Canada a little less cold.
But these cars are mobile data collection surveillance,
and potential sabotage machines that would help China
threaten US national security right from Canada's southern border.
Which is where the majority of Canadians live.
That don't sell Coca-Cola during Christmas time.
So Carney is just using the current trade dispute with Trump as an excuse
to do what he always wanted to do.
Get close to China, a regime that uses rape as a form of torture.
So you can at least understand why Trump would have some issues with Carney.
Carney is just someone he can't trust to tackle China.
But getting rid of Carney won't solve the root problem in China.
It's like taking away a white monster energy from a guy.
That's just the symptom.
And the root issue is his dad didn't hug him enough growing up.
Many of Canada's elites, especially those connected to the Liberal Party,
are utterly compromised by elite Chinese influence.
It goes really, really deep.
As pointed out by Canadian investigative journalist Sam Cooper, a friend of the show,
China's been able to influence so much in Canadian politics,
thanks to its elite ties to the Demarais family,
an elite Canadian business dynasty that owns Power Corporation.
That corporation has influence everywhere,
through connections as high up as Canada's past prime ministers,
including former Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau,
the father of the other former Canadian Prime Minister
and current Katy Perry boyfriend, Justin Trudeau.
Very progressive of Katy Perry to get into an interracial relationship.
So what does Power Corporation have to do with China?
Well, it has a tight business relationship with Citigroup,
a Chinese intelligence front company that invests money all around the world,
as well as ties with Wuxi Lai, China's former commerce minister and his family.
To get the most out of these relationships,
Power Corporation pressures Canadian leaders to promote pro-China policies
through institutions like the Canada-China Business Council,
promoting messages like how Carney's course on China is the right one,
as long as it promotes sustained engagement with China.
Which in turn makes the CCP happy,
since it makes Canada more vulnerable to Chinese coercion.
And in return, Canada benefits by getting, um...
Thanks to Chinese influence and gross incompetence,
Canadian leaders have allowed their country to become a compromised
and untrustworthy intelligence partner,
with retired Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers being charged with spying for China,
as well as a Tier 1 transshipment hub for technically made-in-China crap,
and a global center for Chinese money laundering,
which is fueling fentanyl super labs that send deadly drugs into the US.
And when it comes to Chinese fentanyl,
the Canadian government is definitely complicit.
Nearly two years after announcing that it's dismantled the largest fentanyl
and meth lab in Canadian history,
the Royal Canadian Mounted Police recently announced that it charged just one man.
Surely far more people must have been involved,
including many with ties to China,
the world's primary producer of fentanyl precursors.
But no, nothing to see here.
Now let's just move on.
Probably the work of criminal mastermind Walter Great White North.
What's especially concerning is how Canadian leaders have allowed Canada's national security
to become such a joke, Carlos Mencia is thinking of stealing it.
Which is serious for US security, since Canada covers its northern flank,
which is within very close range of Russian and Chinese missiles.
Remember, the world is round, not flat.
Ugh, I just started the 93 reply argument in the comments by saying that, didn't I?
Canada gave up any semblance of military power after 2011.
In fact, Canada's own military admitted in 2024 that it's facing a death spiral on recruitment,
and that its combat readiness was growing worse,
with almost half of its military equipment considered unavailable and unserviceable.
Canada's navy was the third largest in the world by the end of World War II,
a frontline maritime power that was capable of deterring the Soviets further north.
But now it relies on toothless patrol ships and four aging Victoria-class submarines.
It doesn't get any worse than that.
It's what I'd be saying if it didn't get worse, because according to the government,
only one of four Canadian submarines are currently seaworthy.
A few months ago, Canada ordered 12 German Type 212 submarines.
But given how these military deals often go, who knows if it'll even happen.
Those might wind up being the most useless subs besides the Titan submersible.
So what is Canada doing about its crappy military?
Apparently having talks about military cooperation with China.
Folks, I hate to break it to you, but Canada is not a friend to the US.
And it hasn't been for a long time.
I hope Trump's got a plan.
Ok, a better plan than this.
So what do you think?
