Woman grieves fiancé killed following road rage incident
Chelsea Cooke is mourning the loss of her fiancé, who police say was fatally shot Sunday morning in Wilmington, Delaware.
"It feels like a dream that I'm not waking up from," said Cooke following the death of 32-year-old Donald "Donnie" Nave.
Cooke said adjusting to life without Nave has been difficult. She described him as her partner of 12 years and the father of their two children, with a third child on the way.
"You never think it's going...I never thought this would be me. It was so stupid - over nothing," Cooke said.

But the big story on action news tonight is a grieving Beyonce speaking with
Action News about her devastating loss. Beyonce was shot and killed outside of
their home over the weekend. Police telling us it all started last month
when the victim and the suspect were involved in a traffic incident. Then
Sunday, investigators say he showed up to their home and fired those fatal

Gray and sherry Donald names, family and friends are just heartbroken. We
spoke to his fiancee who says she was there when he was murdered outside
their home. She believes it stems from a road rage incident last month.
It's a little dream, but I'm not waking up alone. Chelsea Cook says it's been
challenging to face her new reality without her fiance, 32 year old Donald
Donnie name. Cook says she tragically lost her partner of 12 years and the
father of her two Children with the third on the way.
New Castle County Police say Nave was shot and killed by 31 year old Hector
Sanchez on Sunday morning. Cook says they had just returned to their house
on South Cleveland Avenue in Wilmington when Sanchez ran up behind him with me
and my son.
I can't wait to see him. Detectives were able to quickly identify Sanchez's
vehicle by using license plate reader technology and took him into custody
Sunday evening. It was an overwhelming feeling that they caught him. Cook says
Nave and Sanchez got into a road rage incident in August and Sanchez was
harassing him days before the murder. You're a weirdo. My son and loved one
because you can't
Cook says Nave was a hard worker, family man and her world. I couldn't ask for a
better partner. He was imperfectly perfect. Holding on to that image of him
as she tries to move forward. I lost my grandpa the same day.
So I lost two of the most important men in my whole entire life in the same day.
But I can't.
And Nave will be laid to rest one week from today. Sanchez is currently behind
