Anna Hursey vs Leong On Na | WS R32 | #WTTMacao 2026

One love, love two. Four love. Five love. Nine love. Finesse from her seat, dominating at the table. She got a game off Zheng Yijing who blew away Duhoi Kem earlier on today. She was also beaten by... Taking her first point here of the match. But Ana, the players will have just trained before coming out onto the arena, so they'll be fresh. Hersey seems to be playing so freely. Figures they're champions, does it really? Other than, you know... Basically bulletproof here, Ana Hersey. She will face Miwa Harimoto again, who she's never beaten but seems to be getting closer and closer to. Hersey could be a contender for a medal at the European Championships in Slovenia. It feels when you're playing someone like Ana Hersey. Just want to give a quick shout out to Team Wales, because at the World Team Championships in London earlier on in the year, they were very close to beating Hong Kong China. Hersey did her best. Even taking down Duhoi Kem, but what a... Whistles past Hersey there, no chance. Similar serve again, but changes it to backhand and Hersey... Yeah, great play. Oh, right into the crossover section of here for Macanista. Hersey's strength lies in her age, and that free arm in front of you is really important to help you get stability. Have this kind of technique. Oh! Fortune here from Leung on that. What I was about to say is that sometimes less is more, in fact quite often less is more. Got to be compact nowadays more than ever. Leung on that. But still Hersey, too good. Played the shot and the ball came right back into her hip. Top edge of the racket there, some fortune from Hersey. Well-timed shot, but not clean contact. She apologises there, 20-year-old. Inside-out forehand. Power coming from the legs. Going for it again, but Hersey just lent back a slight bit too much there on that. Not looking too good for her here. And sugarcoat it. Anna pops it up. Too many differences in the approach between Anna Hersey and Miwa Harimoto. Has played WTT Champions events, so it'll all be surreal in a sense for Anna. Table time on a beautiful stage like this. Fortune trying to spin it and win it. Nope, that is all she wrote. And Anna Hersey has set her personal best at the Champions Macau.
