I bought this mini drifting car for my two sons, mostly because the listing said it runs away from your hand. That part turned out to be hit and miss. The sensors did nothing at all at first, then started working after I cycled the modes, and even then they only trigger when your hand comes in from one narrow angle. What I did not expect was the build. Metallic-look paint, solid wheels, and it genuinely does not feel like a cheap toy in your hand. It also drifts properly once you put it on a smooth floor, charges over USB-C instead of micro USB, and shuts itself off when you leave it sitting. There is no manual in the box, so a few of the modes - follow me, ball follow, line follow - I still cannot tell you what they actually do.
