This Mini RC Car Runs Away When You Try to Grab It — And It Actually Drifts

What's up guys today we are checking out this drift car that I got for my sons and it has live sound effects follow me escape motion so when you try to capture it it runs away 360 degree rotation remote walking auto demo function and a bunch of other stuff remote runs with two triple a batteries and the car charges by type-c so let's check it out without any further ado let's open it up I think I got it in this color black one let's see oh no I didn't I think I ordered it in black but maybe I did it this color that's all this color is also fine it is well packed so that it doesn't fall off left and right and there was actually a good weight to the car so the plastic quality feels very solid there is a metallic type paint job that they have done over it and these lights I think they do turn on and these are sensors there are two sensors here so when you try to capture it runs away which is very fun for small kids then you have type-c charging port here on off button here and yeah overall very solid speedway feeling car like creep when when you knock it you can feel the strength inside the plastic itself then you have the remote which has this fun mode open and then you have on off button here these are these are three buttons I'm not sure what they are going to do we will see about that and there is anything there is no manual at least in this box so I guess I am on my own but one thing I still feel weight it feels it does not feel cheap it feels like a solid thing something I did not expect out of it and the wheel quality is also quite good the solid wheels so let's install some triple-a batteries here and let's check it out then all right batteries are in now let's turn it on okay the lights are on see and that means it does it have a speaker I think it does have a speaker type-c cable type-a to type-c for charging and let's try to do something with it oh sorry remote is not on remote control mode okay so it has voice prompts too very picky very grippy lights are on can I turn these lights off don't follow don't follow what is that escape mode okay this is the mod in which when you try to capture it hold it it runs away so let's try that huh this one doesn't work it should work this way as well that's weird these are definitely sensors that are supposed to work but if either I'm doing something wrong or these are faulty okay so some I started working on its after some cycling through in different modes so if I do it like this whoa this is the escape mode let's turn it off all right so not sure what's going on with this one now it is working before that it was not working so not sure what this is a cycle between different modes escape mode there is a follow mode finger follow mode I think you do it like this and it follows you and there are as a line as well and then you have this one which is to control sounds this button this is the second sound this is third one the I think it only has three sounds of course you have the remote control and it is for four wheel drive so you can do it by this and this is the demo mode I think if you trigger it it will start doing stuff on its own okay of course we of course I we will be testing it on a floor now so let's get to it and see if this one still works or it's gone so let's go on a bigger empty space to try it out all right I think we have more than enough space now so let's try it it got shut down on its own due to so if you don't use it for a certain time certain amount of time it actually shuts itself down and that's actually good because you don't run out of battery this is drift drift so that's why they call it drifter the surface of tires is slippery so when you use it or on marbles like these you actually feel the drift another cool thing is that in the remote you actually see the gears also lighter so for example here that's all I think they look cool not sure if you guys got it from here and let's try the escape mode okay at least now the sensor is working fine so I mean from front you have to like come right on this angle not on this angle it will not capture it same for the back you have to come from this angle and if come here you can still capture it so it's not like fully escape proof and sometimes it is hit and miss and it gives a cool sound so I think kids will enjoy it so now that I have put it up it is trying to say escape what's other mode this is remote what is this can you follow me I think it's like this how do you follow me do I have a ball I think it's called ball follow mode I do have one here and actually this was the previous car that I ordered and I think this is still the cutest looking one let me show you with a pikachu car and a lot of you guys really enjoyed it and it was really cool looking one this is the same thing this one but not as cute looking as this one let's let's see I mean there was a there was a mode in which it would take and follow the car the ball I'm not sure if this car has it but let's see so it's more like a follow mode not hit more what's that the next one so yeah there is one in which it can also follow lines I'm not sure if it has that okay let's try the demo mode well so the demo mode only works when it is in remote control mode and this one it just keeps going like this and then it stopped on its own you guys may not have gotten the full view the camera was a bit far so let's try from this is the demo mode this is the demo mode no different song songs this is the don't follow mode this is escape mode let's go closer and didn't okay so it only detects hand I took the camera closer and did it didn't do anything oh it did so let's go let's come from the front these are the sensors if you come closer here it does like this okay and what's the third mode the don't follow mode or follow mode let's try it and I have no idea what it is so it does follow my finger not sure if that's the right thing to do but overall it's a good car but I still like this one the most this is the cutest one I think and my sons actually broke it and a lot of people in the comment said it was a fake this and that does it look fake to you and did you see it's broken
