F/A-18 Super Hornets Launch From USS Theodore Roosevelt

The aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) conducts flight operations, launching F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter jets during composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX) in preparation for an upcoming deployment. COMPTUEX tests a carrier strike group's mission readiness and ability to perform as an integrated unit through simulated real world scenarios. Filmed August 11-19, 2017.
