Saudi Under Attack: Houthis Target Saudi Arabia In Fresh Missile & Drone Strikes | WION World DNA

This after the Houthis had accused Riyadh on Monday of carrying out strikes around the country, including the deadly bombardment of a prison. Now, Ansarullah wrote on Telegram, Yemeni drones and missiles found the Saudi enemy. It said in a separate post that the strikes hit Abha International Airport, King Khaled Air Base and facilities belonging to state-owned oil giant Aramco in Abha and Jizan. Saudi Arabia has not commented on the report. Houthis released the footage of what they describe as damage to the central prison in the province of Shorf. Now, al-Masirah, which was backed by the Houthis, quoted the Director General of Civil Defence in Jorf Province, saying that Monday's prison strike killed 11 people and left 20 inmates missing under the rubble. This as the war in Yemen between government forces and Houthis has reignited after several years of calm with more than 300 killed in the latest burst of renewed fighting. Experts say the Houthis hope to take land along the Bab al-Mandib Strait, the vital entrance to the Red Sea, through which much world trade passes and which has become a key conduct for Saudi oil bypassing and Iranian blockaded Strait of Hormuz. Between March and mid-July, Saudi exports via Bab al-Mandib increased eightfold.
