Russia may be adapting its long-range Geran drones with a 40-kilogram shaped-charge warhead capable of penetrating reinforced steel and concrete, the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) said, citing claims from Ukrainian defence-technology adviser Serhiy “Flash” Beskrestnov. The assessment comes after repeated Russian strikes on Kyiv’s Southern Bridge, which disrupted traffic and prompted the closure of key crossings.
