Hello, I'm actually around the Godrej peninsula. I'm with one of the business partners, selling various products throughout the Godrej premises. So, what's your name, sir?
So, what are your challenges? How do you start your business, and what advice do you offer to people who want to start a business?
It's not really easy, but it's about focus and determination. You shouldn't just sit and wait for the government to do something for you. The government can't do everything at once for everyone. At the very least, find a way to empower yourself.
As you can see, I started this business with N600,000 back in 2022. And today, I'm proud to tell you that my business is worth more than N10 million. It's a process. It's a gradual process.
Don't just sit around waiting to become a drug addict. It doesn't work that way. Find something else to do, at the very least to empower yourself as a young person. Before anyone can come to help you, you have to start somewhere. You can't get anywhere in life without taking action.
That's a very smooth point. You've given people out there who want to start a business, and you've shared your experience with us. Thank you very much. What's your name again?

So, when you need to apply, you must go to the council and consult with your family.
Thank you so much, guys. Thank you. I love you. Hello everyone. Actually, I'm around the Godrej Peninsula talking to people about how they start building their challenges and how they overcome them.
So, I'm back around the Godrej Peninsula once again with a beautiful lady. Your name, please? Nancy Estasise.
When I started this business, I made two million naira. I faced so many trials and temptations because the business was going up and down.
So, I would go through tough times and think, well, this business, I can't go through it again. So, I would say, no, I need to do this business so that I can move forward with my education and all the other things I want to do.
So, I would go ahead and apply for the business. Actually, I don't know how to run a business, but I would try talking to people so they could help me understand what I can do.
So, they would help me. I would go and buy things. I would open the place. When I opened the shop, I wouldn't raise the prices but would let customers come in.
So, I would need to set the price low. So, I would start, and let me try to figure out ways to help the customers.
Some of the markets I would visit wouldn't be good. If you go and buy a light, you don't know how to save or store it properly so that it doesn't break.
Especially the bottles, the glass bottles. They would spoil or other things would go wrong, and you'd end up losing money. In business, you make a profit.
If you go and buy it for N200, you can't sell it at N250. Then, you can't tell the person that at N250, they sell this light.
Then the person would say, hey, I don't get N250. At N230, I get it. You still make a profit on top of that money because it costs you N200.
At N300, you get N30,000 and you make a profit on top of that. So, I get a lot.
In business, you don't gain trust or familiarity. In business, familiarity doesn't exist. If you achieve familiarity in business, it won't grow.
If you become too familiar with the business, it won't grow. If you become too familiar with the business, it won't grow.
In business, you won't be able to increase. That's all I have to say. Thank you very much.
Okay. Once more, what is your name again?
Nancy Esther Say
Wow. So, how long have you been with me?
Let me say two years.
Wow. That's great. Guys, this is Esther. She's already shared her own experience regarding the business and has also tried reaching out to Sailorians to get them involved in business, because business is one of the most important things we can achieve.
Thank you very much, guys. My name is Enwe.
