NIPSCO customers may be owed refunds after gas overcharges

The Citizens Action Coalition is demanding refunds for over 4,000 NIPSCO customers who were allegedly double-charged for natural gas usage, potentially dating back to the 1970s. The utility is under investigation by the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission for failing to notify customers and regulators in a timely manner regarding these widespread metering errors.
