Yesterday was fantastic today looks to be a very similar day, maybe not a
complete repeat, but yeah, pretty darn good. So we take a live look out to
Kenosha this morning. That looks pretty good this morning as well. We're
sitting at around, um, excuse me. If we look back to yesterday, we got to 74.
It's currently 63. We had a low of 62. So pretty easy going 24 hour period,
but it was below average for the high, a little bit above average for the low
yesterday. Now, the last few hours have been dry and calm through the
overnight is high pressure than the dominant player. There is some warmer
air to our west. There's a lot more moisture west of us, and some of that
is coming our way. We're not likely to get back to that area. You can wear
kind of feel heading into Tuesday and Wednesday, but the dew points and the
instability does increase and eventually that chance of showers and
thunderstorms returns to the area. So again, soak it up and really enjoy what
looks to be a beautiful Labor Day. All right, let's go look ahead here with
Sky Vision plus in the short term. Yes, a lot of sunshine, comfortable
temperatures, a little cooler lakeside. If you're headed off to the beach
today, it's kind of a heads up for that. We stay dry but cloudier through the
late evening and overnight tonight into our Tuesday morning. Still pretty dry
through the midday into early afternoon. Areas farther north and west
will likely see some afternoon showers, but most of this is a late day and
overnight event, particularly for Milwaukee's metro areas and then south
and east. Don't really see the first of that until maybe nine or 10. And
then most of it really kicks in after midnight and stays pretty active into
Wednesday morning for today. Unless you are joining us via Fox local out into
Minnesota into the Dakotas, there's no risk of severe storms, but that does
start to increase throughout the day on Tuesday, then into Tuesday night and
Wednesday. So we will be watching for stronger storms. Highs today pretty
comfortably in the upper seventies to near 80. That is slightly above the
average. Mid to upper seventies is typical this time of year by the
climate data, and then we drop back down into the low sixties tonight. Now
the dew point stayed nice and very comfortable as we go through the next
several hours here, and we'll likely keep those in the more comfortable
range in the extended outlook as well. Does bump up a little bit Tuesday,
Wednesday, so it does kind of feed the potential there for some of those
stronger storms to push through the area, but it never gets into that area.
You can wear category. There will be some pretty seasonal air for the next
several days. Even the cooler days are pretty close to average. And then as we
go really into the long range way into mid and late parts of next week, we may
finally start to get a more autumnal chill for a couple of days before it
warms back up. So our Fox six day planner starting off here at a very
comfy 80 with 76 lakeside and lots of sunshine. Happy Labor Day and make the
most of it. 82 tomorrow with storms arriving late in the day, 84 on
Wednesday with am showers and thunderstorms. Then back to sun
seasonal 76 on Thursday near 80 Friday Saturday back to wake up after this.
