It's kind of crazy, really surreal.
Just a blessing to even be able to play a last year of college.
Just going into it, just trying to maximize the opportunity that I'm given,
because obviously it's a blessing.
My head's in a lot of places, but I'm excited and ready to go.
Well, I think I felt that way since the last game of the season I played last year.
But honestly, I went to this winter block in the spring and the summer,
just embracing it all and taking it all in, because you never know when it's your last time.
So I was really just taking it all in and just really enjoying it and pushing through it.
Honestly, just stay grounded and stay focused and continue to trust God.
If I talked to that kid now, he wouldn't believe where I'm at today.
But for me, just trusting in God and staying focused and staying in the course
and going through all the hard stuff that I went through, it's all been worth it.
Because obviously I was a basketball guy in high school,
so just going through all that, my second year I lost my mom right before the season.
And then just little injuries and stuff, I had surgery to start my fresher sophomore year.
So just those little things, those little things that I went through,
something big, they've made me who I am today.
So I'm very proud of where I came from and where I'm at now.
