Come with me to speak at Vegan Campout.
So here's the mascot.
I've either been kidnapped or I'm at Vegan Campout.
I just got here and it is hot.
So first things first, I'm getting an acai bowl.
It was a little confusing when I first got here.
Didn't know where to go, didn't know where my tent was.
But finally found it, put my stuff down and I'm hungry.
So I want something nice and refreshing and something cold.
I'm already going in for my second meal since getting here.
Let's see how much I can eat this weekend.
Good morning everybody.
It is officially, I want to say day one of Vegan Campout because it's Friday morning.
Yesterday I arrived, I got food and then I got set up in my tent and went to bed pretty early.
Jane is also on her way here.
Jane Velez-Mitchell from Unchained TV.
She'll be staying with me in the tent and walking around together.
So she'll be here soon.
Okay, I'm going to get ready.
Okay, I got ready and finally made it outside my tent.
It's around 11.30am.
I'm going to fill up on water and then go find some people.
Oh, there's Calvin.
Oh, Ashley.
Hey, cheers.
Oh my god, cheers.
Starting her off, it's 5pm somewhere.
Yeah, exactly. 12 o'clock, we gave ourselves 12 o'clock.
Going for the bite.
So good.
What do we got?
That's so good.
Chocolate, hazelnut, vegan croissant.
There's like a sauce in there too.
Damn.
The key to camp out is you got to find the shady spots
because you will not survive these three days
if you are just baking in the sun.
So we have set up a little picnic and we're just catching up.
Friday is pretty chill because there's not a lot of talks happening yet.
There's not really much going on until tonight
and then tomorrow is when things kick off and Sunday.
A lot of social interaction and now it is time for a little break.
I am going to work on my speech, my little talk for tomorrow.
So I have my book here and then I might do a little bit of reading
and then go back out there and get some lunch.
But that's what I love so much about vegan camp out
is it's like you can kind of do your own thing.
Like if you have your tent set up, you can go back and retreat at any time.
I am here working and I want to make sure
that my talk tomorrow is useful for people.
So got to put in the work.
There she is.
The one, the only, Jane Bleznita.
Hello darling.
Oh, we're here. We've arrived.
We are here ready to change the world and veganize the world.
This is Jane's homeland.
She's in a real life Britbox episode of herself.
What are you listening to?
I don't know you. You came up on my phone.
Oh Jesus.
Welcome to your home away from home.
It's a little culty.
I can't get to it. I'm not even joking.
It sort of looks like a mental asylum.
It does look like, it looks like a weird sex cult.
That's what it looks like.
So I recommend not staying in here for that long because it is very hot.
No I'm not.
So let's go get some food.
In London.
Oh wait, I need ketchup.
You have tartar sauce.
I need ketchup for this though.
You're giving your American-ness away.
It's terrible.
I'm a crass American.
Oh my God, I do want some of those fries.
Hello, I've either been kidnapped or I'm at vegan camp.
It looks like I'm at vegan camp.
This is my crew. Meet my crew.
The crew.
I don't know him.
Who you are?
They don't even know you.
Well, at least I know them.
Cheers mate.
You got a set coming up.
Cheers mate.
What are you going to be doing?
So what are we going to be doing?
That's a good question.
We are going to make everything feel a little bit shaped.
Actually, what we're going to be doing, we're making everything great again.
We're talking to a lot of people in the crowd.
It went down a bit.
I'm going to be like the only one in the audience if this energy keeps up.
It's just going to be me.
It is Saturday morning and I am walking to Go Give My Top.
So I will film it and we'll see how it goes.
Oh my God.
We're going on stage.
What the heck?
There are only two times you will find me camping.
I've either been kidnapped or I'm at vegan camp outs.
So happy to be here with you all and today we are going to talk about
how to create the greatest transformative change.
And what if it wasn't through being louder or being angrier
or being more confrontational.
But instead, what if we could create the greatest change by being more conscious.
Thank you so much.
Come to my yoga class tomorrow.
Those are amazing.
They look perfect.
Oh, thank you.
I'm trying to figure out what is working.
Even bringing in non-vegans, I think it's a good thing to bring in non-vegans.
Hello.
Thank you.
This is so cool.
I find it very funny and beautiful and inspiring.
And I'm also trying to change the pharmaceutical company.
Thanks for all you're doing.
Hello again.
I was so excited to meet you yesterday and listening to you now,
it made so much sense because I noticed the good vibrations, I think.
And now listening to you, I was like, you know, it made so much sense.
It only makes sense to be vegan.
To be activists, to question things and to change things,
setting that intention, releasing your arms by your side,
opening your eyes, coming to the front of your mat.
Yoga teaches that we can have whatever we would like
as long as we are willing to give it to others.
If we want kindness, we have to be willing to be kind to others.
If we do not want to harm, we have to be willing to not harm others.
I decided to just go cold turkey.
And that seemed to really work.
After four weeks, I'm not hungry for cheese.
And in fact, the opposite happened.
It just smelled disgusting.
