Their primary mission is to visit and dive the famous Blue Hole. The family balances thrilling activities, such as living on a boat and scuba diving, with heartwarming moments of the children overcoming their fears in a breathtaking tropical setting.
Go!
Be brave buddy, I'll catch you.
Nice, good job.
Go!
That's me, Manila.
Part of the reason I got in this situation
was to go back to my daddy.
We're just your average family
who is choosing to live a not-so-average life.
We decided to sell everything
and leave our home for an adventure around the world.
And now, we are the Bucket List Family.
Jessica, Dorothy, Manila, and Callie.
Welcome to our family adventure.
Where are we off to next?
The goal.
Dive the blue hole.
The challenge.
Find the blue hole with two kids and an infant.
The plan.
Live on a boat for three days.
Like pirates.
So there's two ways to do Hatchet Key.
We spent our first few days
living in a little bungalow cottage
right by the water
and it was amazing.
Yeah, there was eight jellyfish.
I saw, I saw another fish.
I keep counting.
What did that fish?
There's 11.
Oh my gosh.
Look, Manila.
Look it.
Whoa.
I wanna hop in again.
I wanna jump in.
Can we jump in, please, Dad?
Okay.
You say, you count to three.
You count to three and say go.
One, two, three.
Banzai!
Be brave, buddy.
I'll catch you.
Nice.
Good job.
Go.
Good.
You did it.
Okay, go.
Hey, high five.
High five.
Manila, high five.
Yeah, buddy.
Tell Mommy what you did.
I jumped off.
You jumped off the dock?
You're so brave.
Callie wants to be brave just like you.
You wanna give Callie a high five?
Give her my stones.
Wave to him.
You were this close.
I wanna try again.
You wanna try again?
Okay.
You got it.
That was good.
Climb out.
Go tell Mom.
No way.
That's like 10 feet.
Is she really?
Yeah.
Good job, Dorothy.
There's two ways to do Hatchiki.
We spent our first few days living in a little bungalow cottage right by the water, and it
was amazing.
The second way was on a boat.
What's in the big chair?
Um, the captain's.
How did you know that?
Hey, Jess, don't tell anybody, but...
Uh-oh, Dorothy, where's your hand?
I don't know.
Yo-ho, yo-ho, in a hearty voice.
Yo-ho, yo-ho.
In a hearty voice.
Biddle, are you ready?
If you're ready, give Mommy some thumbs up.
Give me thumbs up.
Okay, come on, buddy.
Oh, there's some sharks.
Huh?
Here we go.
Biddle, look under the water.
See the turtle.
I see a turtle.
You saw it?
Woo-hoo.
Is that cool?
I saw a shark.
You saw a shark, too?
Yeah.
Are you all done?
Uh-huh.
Go to keep going.
Uh-huh.
Keep going?
Yeah.
All right, buddy.
Good morning.
Oh, hey, Rinoa.
How long you guys been awake?
Welcome to the Blue Hole.
So, mission accomplished.
We made it to the Blue Hole.
Just checking things off our bucket list.
It's one of those places that when you see a picture, like, that place probably isn't
real, but we should probably go and find out for ourselves.
It wasn't until Garrett got the drone up and we, like, kind of saw ourselves sitting on
the boat in the Blue Hole.
It's literally a perfect hole.
In the waters.
What?
It's gorgeous.
Kids weren't the only people overcoming their fears this week, because when we got in the
water to scuba dive the Blue Hole, she was terrified.
I've been having some meltdowns before some scuba dives lately.
Every time, pretty much.
But she overcame it.
I overcome it.
Kids, be proud of your mama.
It was 120 feet deep, folks.
That's deep.
Why are we here?
My hands are shaking.
Like, I literally can't hold the camera still.
I'm nervous.
And keep my eyes above the waves.
When oceans rise, my soul will rest in your embrace.
For I am yours.
Woo, you did it, Jess.
You did it.
We come up from our dive, and who has her very first free dive experience?
In the Blue Hole.
Oh, come on.
We're just spoiling our kids now.
You're going to free dive in the Blue Hole at five years old?
So this week, we brought along our friend, Abby.
She helped us take some pretty spectacular pictures.
She's a great photographer, she's great with her kids, and she's one of our best friends.
We had suggested that she get scuba certified, and she did last week.
Just in time.
The diving here in Belize is...
We spoiled her.
Sorry, Abby, it's all downhill from here.
You should retire.
These were her first dives, and they were so epic.
We're about to go scuba diving.
This is going to be Abby's first scuba.
We took her to the only place in Belize with great white sharks.
I'm crying.
Can you practice what you preach?
Would you turn the other cheek?
Father, father, father, help us.
Send some guidance from above.
Because right now, people have me questioning, where's the love?
The numbers, the numbers, the numbers, the numbers, the love, the love, the love.
Belize is incredible.
Like, I don't know where it's been, or why we haven't really had it too much on our radar.
I hope we're not telling some secret that we're not supposed to be sharing.
We probably shouldn't say this.
We're not in Belize.
But Belize is fantastic.
This is New Mexico.
Don't come here.
No.
Come to Belize.
It is easy and convenient.
People are incredibly friendly.
Hatchet Key is absolutely breathtaking.
The staff is wonderful.
The place is just perfect for families.
This is a new favorite for us.
So if you come here, you might see us.
Yeah.
Thanks for watching.
Next week, more blue waters.
What?
I'm just kidding.
There's a teaser.
I thought you didn't know.
Okay.
Bye.
Hey, wait.
Not yet.
