What a way to celebrate America’s 250th birthday aboard Carnival Glory!🎆
It’s Day 2 of our Carnival Glory cruise, and we start our sea day with one of our Carnival favorites — SeaDay Brunch — always amazing! We really love a good SeaDay Brunch!! After a relaxing afternoon around the ship and playing some cards, we head to the Main Dining Room to check out Carnival’s special America’s 250th Birthday menu and show you everything we ordered.
Then comes the BIG event! Seven Carnival ships meet up near Celebration Key for an incredible July 4th Funship Meetup and fireworks celebration! @Carnival really went all-out this time in a fantastic fireworks display, and a finale with all the cruise ship horns blasting away at the end, making for a very memorable experience!! 🎆🚢
Joining Carnival Glory are Carnival Sunrise, Carnival Venezia, Carnival Celebration, Carnival Conquest, Carnival Vista and Carnival Elation — seven Funships together for one very special America's 250th Birthday Celebration and Fireworks Show!
After the fireworks, we head back inside Carnival Glory and finish the night with live music and a party in the atrium!

A family celebrates America's 250th birthday during a short Carnival cruise. The trip features a lavish Sea Day Brunch, a themed 4th of July dinner in the main dining room, and a spectacular \"Funship meetup\" where seven Carnival ships gather at sunset and sound their horns in unison to celebrate the holiday.
Let's see. Oh, there we go.
I'm like, coming in fast.
Fourth of July, America's 250th birthday.
250th birthday of America.
Beef carpaccio. When they have this, people get it.
Alright, the fun ---- meetup is happening.
Carnival time for us. Look at that shot right there.
Two. Three.
Happy New Year!
Cheers!
Okay, welcome to day two.
Very short cruise here, so we are doing our favorite thing.
We are here at Sea Day Brunch.
We just got served our coffee.
And we're looking over the menu.
But, you can get the good menus.
So you can actually see.
Oh, there we go.
That's a big menu.
I'm Vanna.
She's Vanna White.
You get the menu as a prize.
Okay, we'll show you our Sea Day Brunch.
And get the day underway.
Omelette. Corned beef flash. Crispy bacon.
Skillet cake.
More crispy bacon.
Danish.
Very good.
Alright, they're having some sort of deck party.
America's 250th B-Day.
Look at that.
But, it's time for serenity.
Alright, we're in the main dining room for the 4th of July.
America's 250th birthday.
For America's 250th birthday.
So we have a special menu.
Look at that.
Baked shrimp mac and cheese.
Patriot red, white, and blue spinach salad.
Celebration gumbo.
That does sound good.
Okay, barbecued chicken.
Pork meatloaf.
Apple pie shortcake.
So, I think half the table went with
the homestead beef meatloaf.
3 out of 4.
And apple pie.
And half went with the strawberry shortcake.
We'll see how it looks. We will show it.
Dad is getting the apple pie and shortcake.
That is the way. That's the way to go.
Alright, we'll show you. You're coming up soon.
Cheers. Happy birthday.
250th to America.
Alright, we got everyone in.
It's a good one.
Ginger ale.
Sauvignon Blanc, I think.
Cabernet.
And your Cabernet.
Yep.
And Dad and I are the designated drivers.
One more. You can't cheer enough, you know.
We're the designated drivers over here.
Yeah, Bob's driving.
Designated floaters.
Andrea's driving. Designated floaters.
There we go.
See, mine's seagram's.
Just ginger ale.
She's got a seagram's.
Seagram's on 7.
Alright, not on the 4th menu,
but beef carpaccio.
When they have this, people get it.
It is fantastic. Really, really good.
Emeril's recipe, too.
I like it better than the steakhouse.
Yeah, it's got little thin sliced
beef, almost like a
pate or something like that.
Little parmesan.
Good stuff.
Yeah, I'm halfway into this.
It is just the perfect
dish. Seriously, guys. Wow.
Very, very, very
yum.
Home run. Special
meal tonight. Meatloaf, kind of
all falling apart, but
maybe the flavor?
It tastes
pretty good.
Flavor's good.
It just all kind of falls apart.
Okay.
I can work with that, though. It's good.
Alright, the
funship meetup is happening.
We've been in dinner.
They said it didn't start until 8, but we started
to get into formation, so we've been
missing the Spinarama and all the
good stuff, but
we're out here now.
Got the Conquest.
That might be Horizon.
We may need to...
Oh, it's the Vista. Alright, Vista.
Conquest.
We'll walk along.
And Venezia out there.
Alright, we have
the Sunrise way out there.
Sunrise.
Venezia.
Conquest.
Vista.
And then somebody's singing.
Alright, yes, we have the Vista
right here.
Conquest. Conquest
looks just like our ship.
So that's sister ship to the Glory.
And then Venezia
right there. Way down there is Sunrise.
Alright, this
side of the ship, we have Carnival
Celebration.
Got an Excel
class. Joining the fun.
We've been on that
one. Very lovely.
And then this one's Steaming In.
We're not sure what that is yet.
And we just
saw Celebration on the other side.
She's joining the party on this
side. How cool.
But this is
the bright side. We're staring right
at the sun.
Jeez.
We have all the ships kind of at sunset
here. So Elation right there.
Vista.
Carnival.
Conquest. Look at that
shot right there. We got the sunsets
going. Little sunset.
Very nice.
Alright, there's three ships.
Moving along.
Carnival Celebration.
The
big Excel class.
And then
we have the Italian ship, Carnival
Venezia. Sunrise
is right around the corner. She's out
of view now. Hiding around the corner.
But look at this.
Woo!
All the ships. Look at them.
All the ships.
Love it.
One puncher.
Two puncher. Three.
And then Elation
kind of turned two.
Five.
Six. Seven.
We have a ten second countdown
to nine o'clock. All the
ships. I think so.
Still
going.
Blow the horns. They must not
have thought of it.
Woo!
That's the way. Yes!
Got some horns.
Alright. That's pretty cool.
You're zoomed in.
Well, that was cool.
That was exciting.
We got to see
seven ships
including us get together.
And the main thing, we were hoping
for horns
going off from every ship
afterwards and we got it.
And
they gave us the horns. Yes!
I was like, we were all
saying, wouldn't it be cool at the end if they do
all the horns and they did.
So happy July 4th!
Happy 250th birthday
to America!
Alright, great way to spend
4th of July on a carnival
fun trip.
Woo!
