Video Summary
AI GeneratedThis video demonstrates how to make a simple, five-ingredient cinnamon ice cream using an ice cream maker. The recipe requires no cooking or eggs, making it a quick and accessible treat that can be enjoyed as soft serve or frozen for a firmer texture.
No eggs, no stove, no custard to cook, five ingredients, one bowl, and your machine
does the rest. This is the ice cream you'll want on repeat. Let's make some cinnamon ice cream.
To get started, we are just going to whisk our five ingredients together.
So our first ingredient here is going to be two and a half cups of cream of heavy whipping cream.
Then we're going to add in one and a half cups of whole milk. Important to get that whole milk.
Oh, before we go any farther, if you guys wanted to follow along with all of these ingredients,
then I'll put the recipe link in the description below. You can print that
out and then follow along as we do this video. Next up, it's going to be three fourths cup of
sugar. I always like to use organic cane sugar. Then we're going to add in one tablespoon of some
homemade vanilla extract. You don't have to use homemade, but my goodness, is it so good.
I'll link that video up here and in the description below.
And then lastly, for this cinnamon ice cream is going to be two teaspoons of cinnamon.
Now I'm going to grab a whisk and we just need to whisk this up.
This ice cream was actually a request from my daughter, as are a lot of the recipes that I make.
They are requests from my kiddos. This one she has been begging me for for quite some time.
We, when we go skiing, we always stop at an ice cream shop and get ice cream, which I know is
counterintuitive. I will say, I think we eat ice cream more in the winter than we do in the summer,
but regardless, we got some cinnamon ice cream and she fell in love with it and has been begging me
to make a cinnamon ice cream ever since. So here we go. Cinnamon ice cream. So in this,
we are trying to get that sugar to incorporate, dissolve into our cream and milk as much as we
can before we pour it into our ice cream maker here. This recipe is not one that's affected by
high altitude, so feel free to just make it as is. All right, now we're going to take a quick pause.
I'm going to run to my freezer and grab the bowl, the frozen bowl for my ice cream maker.
All right, now that I have my frozen bowl, which you want to leave in your freezer for probably 24
hours before you would make this ice cream. To be honest, I leave my bowl in my freezer all the time.
So that way, if there's ever an ice cream emergency and I'm in need of some ice cream,
I can just make it. All right, so let's add this to our ice cream maker here.
Then for mine, I will link my ice cream maker in the description below for you.
I love it. I've had it for years. It works great. It makes great ice cream and it's so easy, you
guys. So I'll put my attachment in here and then I put the lid on. Mine has a little opening.
So what I'm going to do now is I'm going to give this another good stir. I want it as mixed up as
possible. And now we need to pour this into our ice cream maker. I do always like to use
a bowl like this so it pours easy. So just make sure whatever you use, you can pour it out easy.
We'll add this top back on. I'm going to hit start on my ice cream maker. There's a button
that says ice cream. I'm going to hit that and then I'm going to hit start one more time and
we'll get started. It'll run for about 30 minutes and then mine automatically beeps at me to tell
me when it's done. But obviously if yours is different, watch it and know how that works.
But typically it's around 30 minutes before that ice cream is chilled enough to be completely done.
And then after that ice cream maker beeps at you to tell you it is done, we need to remove our top
here. We're going to take out our frozen bowl. I just think it's easier that I'm going to get
this out of the way. I'm going to remove this insert. Obviously get that ice cream off. I just
use like a sturdy wooden spoon to do this. I feel like the wooden is better. Otherwise you can scrape
that ice cream bowl and we don't want to do that because we don't want to ruin that. That's the
expensive part of this machine. All right and then we're going to take all this ice cream. We need to
quickly put it in our containers. You can actually eat this right now. This would be just soft serve
ice cream and it is good, let me tell you. But I also just like to get it right in the freezer.
You don't want to let it melt too much because then it can turn icy when it refreezes. So we try
to work quickly at this point. What you also can do to help it not get icy is to take some plastic
saran wrap and put it right over the top of it there and then put your lid on. That will also
help it to keep it from getting icy. We want to just give it every chance that we can for that
and then you can just put your lid on and stick this right in that freezer. It's good for a few
weeks in there unless you eat it quick and that's be great too. But thank you guys so much for making
some homemade cinnamon ice cream with me. I hope that you love this as much as my daughter has gone
crazy for it. If you guys like this video make sure you hit that subscribe button. I post new
