Blender 2.8 how to make flat bases for 3d printing sculptures

This blender 2.8 video will show you how to add a flat base to your 3d print / sculpture. i show you two methods. the first method to make your models bottom flat, will use a cube, and booltool. if you dont know how to use bootool see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnceIdQPEJM
the second method involves using blender 2.8 to create a second model, which has a flat bottom, and joining the two, creating a sort of column or plynth. between these two methods for making a printable flat base, you should be able to devise several workable options for adding flat bases to your 3d prints!
