You've had many jobs in the beauty industry, so you've learned a lot of these. What's your $5 secret for moisturizing your skin? Okay, for moisturizing your skin, you're going to be shocked. We have Borage Oil here. Comes in a little capsule. You just take this capsule. We're going to demonstrate. I'll be the victim. It's a rough job. We'll put that on your hands. A little bit goes a long way, so you don't necessarily need to use so much. I'm just going to massage. It goes right in very, very easy, so it feels really, really good. With any excess, I'll put it on my cuticles. I'll put it maybe around my eyes more, into my eyebrows to condition it. It feels really amazing. And why is it so effective? It has tons of omega oils in it. It also has, it's very anti-inflammatory, so if your skin is a little irritated, sometimes I even put it in the fridge a little bit to cool it down, so it really helps with inflammation in the skin. And it's very inexpensive. Oh, yeah. All right. $5 secret for your lips. Okay. I should say, she's predicting, and I'll predict this as well, this is going to be the next hot ingredient out there for cosmetics, especially for the lip. It's called Meadow Foam Seed. Meadow Foam Seed. Remember this. Please describe what it is to everybody. Meadow Foam Seed comes from a plant in the North Pacific, and as you can see, it looks like a sea of foam when it's blooming, and it's very, very anti-aging on the skin. It also has vitamin E in it, and it's also extremely high in antioxidants. Goes right into the skin, very, very easy. And we found this lip balm at Sephora, which has Meadow Foam Seed oil in it. And not only do you put it on your lips, but really, women are really worried about fine lines, so you really want to go all over, all over your lips, all around it. It's clear, so use it all over. It's got that soothing element to it. All right. Yeah. Very soothing, very healing. All right. And finally, the last $5 tip is actually a solution for the dark eyes, the dark circles we get under our eyes. Yeah. I mean, and this is a really big problem for a lot of women. So what we have here is a do-it-yourself, the Parsley Pesto Eye Mask. It's a tongue twister, but it's really great. So you're just going to take about three tablespoons of parsley, two tablespoons of yogurt. You put them in a blender. Really mix it very well, and it comes out with a beautiful, beautiful mixture that you're going to... Yeah. If you get hungry, you're good. Don't worry. You could eat this, couldn't you? Yeah. No, obviously you can eat it. You just get an unflavored yogurt, and you're good to go. And you just put it... I put it underneath my eyes for about 15 to 20 minutes, then it starts to get a little bit harder. The yogurt starts to dry. And then between 20 minutes and a half hour, that yogurt's dry, and that's when you know to rinse it off with warm water. Not hot water. Warm. I love that you found a bunch of solutions for under $5. They all make perfect medical sense, and they're out there for everyone to use. Thank you very much, Laura. Thank you. Celebrity hairstylist Rodney Cutler is sharing high-end hair treatments you can do at home to get the exact same results. I asked Rodney to pick out the best at-home products to color and straighten your hair. And he sent his picks to three viewers who actually tested them out, so we got good proof today. Now, Rodney, everyone who's watching this right now has that primordial fear they're going to muck up their hair and have to make an emergency appointment to come to a salon like yours. Yeah. And I've seen lots of disasters, but now there's tons of great products that you can use at home, so it's great. All right. So we're going to start off with one of the hottest hair trends out there. All the celebrities have it. It's called Ombre. What is Ombre, Rodney? Well, Ombre is one of the hottest trends, and it's really about gradation color. So you'll notice the roots are darker, and then you have the color towards the end, which is really nice. So even if you have a little bit of gray here, it takes your eye off there and pushes it to here. Really hot in Hollywood at the moment. So what kind of hair colors is it best for? Well, it's a little edgier, but you can actually soften it up so it can really work for anybody, any age. And it's really a big, big trend. It's not going away. So how do you do it at home? Well, this is a great product from L'Oreal. This is a L'Oreal Ombre product specifically for Ombre. It's $11, a lot cheaper than the salon, and it's easy to use. Now, you don't have to be perfect. That's the key. You're just sliding in the colors. You don't have to be a perfectionist. And the great thing is you can use it three months, four months, because we're not worried about the regress. So this is a terrific, hot product to use. So someone as talented as Rodney tells me this, and I get a little intimidated thinking, is it really that easy to do? So we actually sent it over to Teresa's house, and here's how Teresa's Ombre experiment went. I've seen Ombre everywhere, and I've been dying to try it out. So today I have an at-home Ombre kit. I'm going to find out if it really looks as good as what I've seen on celebrities. All right, Teresa, are you ready? Ready. Drop the towel, and please turn around. There you go. Have a look. Oh, my goodness. Look at that. So what do you think, Teresa? Dr. Harris, I love it. I love it. Thank you so much for this opportunity to try it. You look beautiful with it. Well done. Thank you. The next at-home treatment is used to replace expensive keratin treatments to straighten hair. Now, Rodney, a salon-worthy product that folks can do safely at home that will work. What is it? You know, this is Pureology's Super Smoothing Relaxing Serum. It's actually a great product. It has micro-molecules that actually penetrate into the hair, because it's hard to do the keratins at home, let's be honest. This is a daily treatment, and it's a styling treatment. What it's going to do, it's going to repel humidity, and that's the hardest thing is spring, summer's coming on, to keep that hair smooth, and it's going to add shine. Now, you apply this on damp hair. Now, when your hair's wet, don't rough-dry your hair, because you're going to diffuse and rough up the cuticle. Blot dry, and a little tip with your blow-dry is make sure you have a nozzle. You can blow-dry the hair from the roots to ends. This will lock it in smooth and good to go. So Rodney shared that exact advice with Stephanie, who did the test for us, and I want to see how that smoothing serum went for her. Take a look. My hair is out of control and frizzy. Rodney, you argued that there's an at-home treatment that can save us a lot of money that actually works very well and is pretty easy to use. Yeah, and it is scary to color your hair at home, let's be honest. So this is Clairol Perfect 10, and it processes in 10 minutes, and time's really valuable. So it's half the time than all other products. It has no ammonia, so that means it's softer on the hair, and you don't get that sort of yucky smell. So this is a really terrific product. So I was going to use this myself, but my wife wouldn't let me. It was natural, right? So we sent Sandy out to try it out. Here's how she did. I'm in the hair salon way too often trying to get rid of this gray hair, and it gets so expensive. So I'm going to test out this new hair dye to see if it solves my problem. Let's take a look at Sandy's hair. Here it is. Have a look at that. Oh my goodness. Let me ask you this question because I have not asked it yet. How does this compare to what your hair would look like if you had done this at a salon? The coverage is phenomenal. You can't see a single gray. It took 10 minutes, and it's just time is valuable. I'm a working mom, so I loved it. 10 minutes. Yeah. How do you fix the right color? Yeah, this, you know, she's very, very great. You'd be really shocked. If you're going lighter, stay within, sorry, I know, I'm sorry. If you're going lighter, keep it within two to three shades of your natural. If you're going darker, be a little bit conservative because you can always go darker, so maybe keep it a shade lighter than you really want, and you can add more if you need be, but it's really terrific. I love it. Look at the shine and the vibrancy. It's really beautiful, right? I've got to say, I'm so impressed. I'm running all of these.
