3 fraud convictions dropped against former Connecticut state senator

A judge has overturned three of the six wire fraud convictions against former State Senator Dennis Bradley. While a jury previously found that Bradley defrauded the state of $84,000 in campaign funds, the judge ruled that three specific counts did not meet the legal criteria for interstate commerce. Bradley is scheduled for sentencing on the remaining convictions on December 3rd.
