And if you're over 50, the message is that this train must have left without you. And look, I get it. Tech has always favored the young. New platform shows up, the kids get there first, the gold is gone. But AI is different, structurally different. Every other tech wave rewarded learning a new skill from scratch. So a 22-year-old and a 62-year-old started off from the same zero. But AI doesn't reward new skills if you use it in the right way. AI rewards everything that you already know. It can turn decades of experience into content and income at the push of a button. And for the first time in the history of technology, the person with more life experience has the advantage. So the thing that you were told disqualifies you. Your age is the exact thing this opportunity pays a premium for. And the best proof isn't a theory from me, it's a broke 65-year-old with $105 check. So he drove to the country, sleeping in that car, cooking for restaurant owners, and he said, hey, use my recipe, pay me a royalty per piece. And he got rejected over 1,000 times. Then one restaurant in Salt Lake City said yes. And by 73, he had over 600 locations and sold it for $2 million, which is the equivalent of about $20 million today. And his face is still on the bucket in 145 countries. So your decades of experience are potential energy, right? It's worth nothing inside of your head, but it's worth a fortune the moment that people can consume them. And Sanders needed a beat-up car and 1,000 rejections to distribute his wisdom. You just need a camera, which you already own, either the webcam on your laptop or the camera on your phone. And then Codd does the rest of the heavy lifting. Before YouTube, I was a pharmacist, and one of my coworkers was a woman in her late 50s, and she actually hit her 40-year anniversary at the company. 40 years of showing up, 40 years of giving that company the majority of her waking life. And here's one thing. The game that we were taught, work hard, stay loyal, and the institution is gonna take care of you, that game is rigged. Hand the world the value that you've been handing an employer because the world will actually pay you what it's worth. And that is literally what YouTube is for. That's what YouTube allows you to do, right? Anyone can look it up on Google. Anyone can look it up on ChatGPT or Claude. So general information is no longer valuable. But what is valuable is experience and wisdom, and that's something that you have. And it's why right now is the moment for people over 50, and it comes down to what AI just did to the internet. And I call this the wisdom premium. So here's what's happening right now. AI made content creation basically free. So the internet is flooding with slop. Faceless channels, robot voices, videos with no human behind them, millions of them every single day. And everybody concludes the same thing. It's over, AI won. Why would anyone watch me? But that's exactly backwards. Think about what happens when counterfeit money floods a market. When fake bills are everywhere, what happens to gold? Gold goes up. The more fakes in circulation, the more people pay for the real thing. And that's the internet right now. AI slop is counterfeit content. And every fake video pumped out by some automation bro makes you, a real face with 30 years of real experience, more valuable, not less. And I call it the wisdom premium. When trust collapses, it doesn't disappear. It concentrates on a few people who are verifiably real. And who's the most trusted person in the room? It's not the 24-year-old quoting a blog post. It's the person with gray hair who's actually lived it. Ask any industry, any family on earth, which advice are you gonna take? A 25-year-old reading AI-generated career advice versus a 60-year-old who did the damn job for 35 years, right? It's not a fair fight at all. So the counterfeit flood didn't kill the content game, it repriced it. And wisdom is the new gold. So the play is not to out AI the AI kids, it's the exact opposite. Double down on authenticity, double down on your own wisdom and your own experience. And here's what that looks like piece by piece. So here's the blueprint. And this is what I call the hybrid personal brand. It's built on wisdom content. There are three pieces. Piece one, your niche is your past. You don't find a niche, you excavate one. 35 years of nursing, that's a channel. Decades in real estate, the trades, accounting, raising kids, surviving a divorce, channels, all of them. The stuff that you consider boring about your life is exotic to millions of people out there, right? And these are people that are just a few steps behind you. And this is one of the hardest things to get people over 50 to believe. You are sitting on the inventory. Your experience is worth its weight in gold. But here's piece two, your face is the moat. It's a personal brand wrapped around a topic. You show up on the thumbnails and you show up on camera or at minimum with your voice and name. And I know that that's the scary part, but your face is the one thing that no AI and no 22 year old can copy. And this is something that a lot of older people just really have an issue with because they think, oh, you know, I'm not young. I'm not charismatic. You know, I don't look as good as I used to when I was younger. I shouldn't show my face. That gives me a disadvantage. It's the exact opposite. You being older, you putting your older face on a thumbnail is the advantage because there's so many young people that are putting their faces on thumbnails and that is saturated. And at the end of the day, anything in business or really anything in life comes down to supply and demand, right? There's a massive amount of demand for older people and there's not enough supply of older people actually making content. So when you put your face on a thumbnail, if you're on the older side, it's going to be easier for you to grow. And if you don't believe me, I'm sure you could just look at this entire compilation of older people who make dead simple videos and they're blowing up, right? If you haven't noticed this trend, it's a trend that's happening and there's a reason for it, right? And like I said, your face is the one thing that no AI and no 22 year old can copy. It is your moat. It's the anti-AI slop signal that makes all that concentrating trust flow to you. Nobody's asking you to dance, right? Like on TikTok, you just talk like you'd talk to a niece or a nephew or the younger version of yourself who's asking for advice. And then piece three, Claude is the staff, right? Finding topics, writing scripts, planning thumbnails, research, Claude can do all of it now, right? It does the heavy lifting for you. So you can bring 30 years of judgment and it brings 30 hours a week of labor. And this is experience that you already have a face that can't be faked and it's an AI staff for about $20 a month. All right, so let's kill the tech objection right now because I know it's sitting there, right? Shane, I'm not technical. My kids set up my phone. Here's what nobody told you. Claude does not require you to be technical. It requires you to talk. No code, no prompt engineering course. Claude interviews you, your specialties, what patients thank you for, what you'd warn your own mother about and then out comes a niche video ideas and even full scripts in your voice and the machine does the typing, but you do the knowing. But you might be thinking, well, Shane, why Claude? Why not ChatGPT or Gemini? Well, it's simple. Claude writes like a person instead of a press release. He recorded the video in another 20 minutes and then he posted the video and that video ended up getting over 800,000 views and his channel blew up from zero to $214 in a single day, 29 days after he posted his first video. So he literally went from zero to a full-time income in less than a month and just last month he had an $18,000 month, right? So he is absolutely crushing it. All right, so now for the objections and I have heard every single one of them on hundreds of calls with people your age and nobody wants to hear from me but it's with respect, it's okay. Millions of people aged 20 to 45 are desperate for guidance from somebody who's actually been through it. We're talking careers, money, marriage and health and there is demand for real wisdom that has never been higher and the supply on YouTube is damn near zero. Additionally, other people that are on the older side, generally speaking, you know, there's this saying, birds of a feather flock together, other people on the older side, generally speaking, want to watch content from people that are like them, that are around their age. So you're not the leftover, you're the shortage and you might be thinking, well, it'll take too much time. It's a few hours a week, right? Zach spent four hours a week or less to grow a full-time income in his first month on YouTube and then continued it into his first year.
