DON’T LAUGH AT YOUR OLD SCHOOLMATE — HIS STORY ISN’T OVER YET

If you meet your old schoolmate today selling sachet water, driving a taxi, farming, repairing phones or doing any honest work, don't laugh at them.

You may be looking at one chapter of their life—not the ending.

When we were in school, many of us had big dreams. Some wanted to become doctors, lawyers, pilots, engineers and successful business people.

But after school, life happened.

Some people had parents and relatives who supported them. Others had to start working immediately just to survive.

And sometimes, the person who was once the smartest or most popular student in class can find themselves struggling years later.

But there is nothing shameful about honest work.

Don't use your success to look down on someone else's difficult season.

And if you are the one struggling right now, don't be ashamed.

Your current situation is not a prophecy about your future.

Keep working. Keep learning. Keep improving. Keep believing.

Because the person people are laughing at today may simply be funding the beginning of something much bigger.

Life has chapters.

Don't judge somebody's entire book because you've opened it to one difficult page.

If you have an old schoolmate who is going through a difficult season, encourage them instead of gossiping about them.

And if you are doing well today, be grateful—and remember to be humble.

Because tomorrow, the story can change.

Today they may see your struggle. Tomorrow they may witness your breakthrough.
