YOU MAY BE MISSING YOUR HELPER BECAUSE YOU DON'T LIKE THE WAY THEY LOOK

What if the person you rejected because of their appearance, religion, tribe, background or lifestyle was actually the person God was positioning to help you?

Sometimes we pray for helpers while unknowingly rejecting the very people who could become part of our journey.

Apostle Joshua Selman once shared a powerful principle: when God wants to help you, He creates proximity between you and helpers. You don't need everybody; you need the right people.

But here's the problem:

Sometimes the right people don't look the way we imagined.

Your helper may not belong to your church.

They may not dress like you.

They may not come from your tribe.

They may have a different background, lifestyle or belief system.

And sometimes, we reject people before taking the time to discover their character.

This doesn't mean you should abandon your values or trust everybody. Discernment, character and wisdom still matter.

But don't confuse discernment with prejudice.

You may be praying for a helper while you are the helper someone else has been praying for.

“Have I ever rejected someone simply because they didn't look like the kind of person I expected?”
