Pablo put out this this post right before we went live and he was like new investigation tomorrow
and it's Mark Walter holding up a a Dodgers Trump jersey presenting it to Donald Trump in Washington
D.C. John seems like we have another victim here just one day after one of the most massive
investigation punishments of all time. I will continue to say this and I said this then
the fact that Mark Walters went to the White House had the celebration with Trump gave him
a big fat championship ring because we know Trump loves to receive things and then all of a sudden
Josh Kushner and Bob Iger Josh Kushner more importantly are involved in the sale of the
Los Angeles Lakers that stinks in so many different directions it doesn't make any sense
because again when you look at how much money Josh Kushner and Bob Iger are worth it doesn't
amount to what they paid for the team so none of this makes any sense unless it all makes sense
and and it's rotten so if if Pablo knows something or has something that is even close to what I'm
talking about Mark Walter's got to go and I mean Mark Walter's got to go off every team
whatever he owned he got to go yeah this is uh because again owners in sports right and I have
that on the bottom ticker and it's just like what has happened over these past I'm here's here's the
thing I'll say about it on one hand I am like obviously in support of this awesome investigative
journalism that has happened here to take down billionaires that get away with a lot of weird
stuff right I'm very glad that that has happened because I feel like the public and the fans and
people that are paying for these teams to operate should know about all these things and they should
be penalized for a lot of these things and it's just because now we're getting intertwined with
politics too so now there's the political and I don't know what this investigation for the
Stodgers thing is going to be or Mark Walter thing I guess is going to be um when you guys see it but
my god I mean if it's politically intertwined with sports like what does that do for the
image of sports ownership it's insane because you want wealthy owners every team wants a
wealthy owner hey we want to spend on this we want to be able to buy good scouting departments
and good front office members we want to bring in the best GMs and all the but at what cost
that you get you get suspended two years later when you start getting to these numbers that
they're getting to like 13 billion dollars to purchase the Lakers that type of money
it in the way that they make the venture capitalists uh investment capitalists however
you want to define the term I call them ultra capitalists but regardless of how you want to
define the term the way that they make massive amounts of money and borrow against this and
lean against that to create these large you know sums of money that they then go and they purchase
things on the backs of other things basically insured money it's almost as if they're playing
with monopoly money the way that they create this and they bend it to re bend it to their reality
if I'm if you're a league if you're the NBA yes you want that money but do you really want the
suspicion that's now starting to come with that money right because again the Lakers then sell
then the Timberwolves sell and before this the Trailblazers sold and so if you're you you're
trying to get somebody to purchase the team in Las Vegas you're trying to get somebody to purchase
the team in Seattle and so the amount of money that the influx of cash that the league is going
to get you can't be so greedy that you blind yourself from things that clearly look to be
and look at this Joshua Kushner who by the way just entered into a deal to buy the Lakers with
Bob Iger well he has his own sell-off scheme with FIFA and the UEFA and hey Lakers get in the sky
to be your co-owner or whatever I guess I don't even know what the percentages are the only thing
that stopped that by the way the only thing that stopped what Josh Kushner was trying to do with
FIFA is the the teams not the organization FIFA the teams said we will not play yeah I said we
won't play and if they don't play nobody makes money and that's why that fell apart and so the
I don't think the NBA has that type of courage amongst their owners because either it's old
super rich money or it's super rich new money and in the NBA of all the sports they're about to
become super rich new money fighting super rich old money and and and I don't like it I don't for
my game I don't like it and it's funny because at this point anyone that's looking for a new owner
should just be like are they in any legal trouble or any schemes I don't care what money they have
are they gonna be caught in a few years that's all we care about yeah literally that's it because
that's how that's what it's gotten to you have to look up somebody's background if they've been
involved in any schemes before you even say oh I love this owner
