"J-45” is the fourth release in a new series of songs written by Lobo and Billy Aerts. This song was written by Billy Aerts and is the story of finding his first love a Gibson J-45 acoustic guitar he first saw at age 16 when he walked by a music store and saw her through the storefront window. Both Kent and Billy grew up in Florida, and the song sparked memories of their younger days—fishing, spending long afternoons in the sun, and living life around the water, boats, and the easy rhythm of coastal living. As they reflected on that shared nostalgia, they decided to write and record a collection of songs inspired by those memories. Kent says, “We love the feeling and sentiment in these songs because they take us right back to our youth. Hopefully, everyone will love these songs as much as we loved making them, and maybe they’ll bring back a few memories of their own from when they were young.”
