Rick, that crash happened just over my shoulder here on Tuckahoe Road.
It involved five vehicles, two dump trucks, a school bus and two passenger vehicles.
Tonight, police say everyone involved is either out of the hospital or in stable condition.
Tonight, a family is recovering after their white SUV appeared to have the heaviest damage in a multi-vehicle crash in Williamstown, New Jersey Thursday.
It was just after 4 p.m. when this red dump truck rear-ended that white SUV setting off a chain reaction crash on Tuckahoe Road.
When I was driving, I was behind the red dump truck.
Erin DelVizio witnessed the whole thing, ran to help, and to her surprise, she knew the people in the white SUV.
We saw each other, and we just both cried at the same time.
She's like, Erica, please help me. My babies are stuck in the car.
So we, I just gave it my all. I tried doing everything that I can to get them babies out.
Fourteen people in all were taken to hospitals, according to Monroe Township Police.
That includes the driver of this school bus and nine students on board who are all now out of the hospital, according to the school district.
In the white SUV, an adult woman and three kids, some still being evaluated at Cooper, according to a hospital spokesperson.
DelVizio says a child was trapped for a short time in airbags and the mangled metal.
I'm just praying that everyone is well, that you get seriously injured.
Neighbors describe the sound of the crash like an explosion.
All these people are in shock.
DelVizio says she's grateful she just happened to be in the right place at the right time.
Even if it was anybody, if it was a stranger, I would have been the first one there for them.
But knowing that I knew them, it was just so different.
And authorities say the owner of the company that owns that duck truck, rather, they are cooperating with the police investigation.
No charges have been filed, of course.
The investigation is ongoing.
But we're live here in Williamstown now.
