A pregnant vlogger shares her transition into autumn, balancing the joys of \"cozy season\" with the emotional and physical challenges of pregnancy. The video documents her daily routines, including prenatal yoga, home decor shopping, and unboxing baby gear, while providing an honest look at her struggles with anxiety and the preparations for her new arrival.
Get into focus. Good morning, guys. Welcome back to my channel. Welcome back to a new video. Sorry,
I'm so out of breath. I just climbed up the stairs just to come and get this camera, but
it is raining outside, and I thought, what better time to start this vlog, given that we are
welcoming September, the start of officially cozy season, the bare months, as everyone likes to call
them, the autumn, winter diaries. Autumn is officially upon us in September, so we're here.
We made it through what feels like the longest summer in the universe, and apparently,
next summer's going to be even hotter. I'm actually dreading it already. I feel like in
England, where we're used to a few weeks of sunshine and heat waves and stuff throughout
the summer, we've had pretty much half of the year, five to six months of heat and dryness,
droughts, hose pan bites. Hold on. Let me just get my baby raining to get hose pipe bands. Wow.
Gosh. Anyway, yeah, it is a drizzly start to today, and I am fully here for it, honestly.
First time in a year. Obviously, I'm pre-filming this because you can't film and upload the same
day, but I've just looked at my calendar. PSL season's here as well today, so at some point,
it'd be rude not to go and get our first of the season. How exciting. That did just pop into my
brain. See, first of all, I do need to head out, give Barney a bit of a stretch of the legs. You
know what? I'm going to wear a bit of fragrance today. I've not been wearing perfume too much
since being pregnant, just because it's quite ... Strong smells and things can be a bit too
overpowering. Can you hear the traffic on the road because it's so wet? This is the scent that
comes out every year at this time of the year, because although this is my probably all-time
favorite scent ever, ever, ever, across all of my perfumes I've ever tried, it is one that I only
wear seasonally because it isn't a summery scent at all. Maybe that's why I like it even more,
because there's a bit of nostalgia attached to it, of the fact that the scent recognition of
this with autumn starting. Maybe that's why I like it especially, but it's called ... It's
from Replica, Maison Margiela, and this one's called By the Fireplace. Hello darkness, my old
friend. Oh my goodness. Wow. Incredible. Absolutely incredible. I'm not getting teary. My eyelashes
are just stuck together, just on my mouth. My makeup and mascara felt a bit like my lashes
were sticking together there. Although having said that, I get teary very easily these days.
I had a bit of a down day the other day, and I like to keep things positive here on this channel,
but realistically speaking, pregnancy is just such a whirlwind. One minute I'm ... Not even
day-to-day, but minute-to-minute, I can be high-high, low-low. When I say low, I don't mean
sad low. I personally am an anxious person anyway. I've always had anxious thoughts,
anxiety-inducing feelings and thoughts from as young as I can remember. Honestly,
my earliest memory is six, seven years old. The way I correlate anxiety back then was,
now I understand it better and I know what it is. It was through instances like going to
friends' houses, not wanting to, well, ever do sleepovers or anything like that, but even just
not being at home felt very intimidating. I obviously had fun, played with friends,
played out some stuff, but I always remember if I was there late or if we were sitting down with
their family to have a family meal, I remember losing my appetite and feeling the need to have
to finish my dinner and feeling sick and wanting to just go home, and that panic kind of spiral
that I now understand it for what it is, and at the time, obviously, just didn't understand.
They're kind of like my earliest memories of anxiety and anxious thoughts, social anxiety,
health anxiety of feeling like I'm well all of a sudden, and then I spiral in my head.
Being pregnant, it's obviously any kind of health anxiety especially can spiral quite quickly and
easily because normally, pre-pregnancy, any kind of niggle or pain or feeling that is out of the
ordinary can trigger unwelcome thoughts of feeling like, I don't know, just something's wrong,
something's seriously wrong, or, you know, like, should I book a doctor's appointment? Like,
what is this pain? And honestly, sometimes I think I've had phantom pains where
I feel like I've had a pain and maybe it hasn't been anything, but then that's not to say don't
get something checked because I do think you should, but a lot of the time, it's all up here
for me. So yeah, I had a bit of a day the other day where I was just like, I just felt particularly
anxious, and you know what might have triggered it actually? I had a caffeinated coffee that morning,
just thinking then, like, that might have been a bit of a trigger because I don't drink caffeine,
not just through pregnancy, but I avoid it anyway for, like, anxious thoughts and jittery feeling,
and maybe that's kind of, like, thrown me off a little bit and got me in my head about, like,
basically the overarching or overwhelming feeling that I was getting was a bit of panic and
claustrophobia towards being pregnant because for the majority of the time, I have felt,
and I still feel obviously, incredibly grateful, love my bum, everything about being pregnant I
love apart from the uncomfortable feeling. So where obviously your bum's getting bigger and bigger,
all your organs and everything are being pushed right up here, and it can feel quite tight and
uncomfortable here, which leaves you breathless, stomach issues, like, just things all happening
here across your chest where your heart is and everything, and then you start to feel
that breathlessness, and that can spiral into, well, for a lot of people I'm sure it's just a
case of, oh, I'm feeling a bit uncomfortable during pregnancy, but then I was like, oh my god,
I'm only going to get bigger, I'm only going to get more uncomfortable, I've still got several
months of this yet, you know, and then it's like, oh god, I'm just thinking about everything,
and then I'm like, oh god, I've only got a few months, I haven't prepped anything yet, and then
I just started to get myself into, like, a negative headspace, and then you feel a few kicks and you're
like, heart warmed. I don't know where I went off on to that tangent, but just if there are any other
pregnant mommas out there who might be feeling the same way, I'm with you, you're not the only one.
Anyway, that smells incredible, absolutely love that, so yeah, we'll at some point treat ourselves
to a PSL today, might even get one this morning, but need to head out and walk Barney first and get
our raincoat on, which is exciting, raincoat, waterproof shoes, oh, I have had a delivery,
which is very exciting. Before I take Barney out, I might unbox it with you,
and then I think it requires some building, so whether or not we do that today or another day,
we shall see. Where can I put you for now? Let me just pop you on, look at this, all the light's on.
We still practice with our pram, don't we Barney? You walk with me, you walk with the pram.
This way, with me, you walk with me, yes, good boy. You're not scared of it, are you? Can you
touch it? Can you come give it kisses? Come touch, good boy. Yes, we've had a delivery.
Yes, good job. I've actually had two deliveries, this one's an exciting one from Bloom and Wild
who have sent me a couple of bunches of flowers lately. They do other gifting as well, and they've
actually given me a discount code, it's not like a paid for ad or anything, but I just wanted to
mention it because I'll leave a link and the code below where you can save some money, but I didn't
know that they did as much gifting as they did, and this one especially, this is their,
because they do like hampers and all sorts, this is their Dalesford hamper.
Who knew they had Dalesford on their website? So anyway, I'll open that in a sec, but this is
the big delivery that I was talking to you about just then. It's not too heavy, so we're all good.
From Claire De Lune, we've got a Moses basket. Crochet is the one that I went for,
because they have some in the, is it like a seagrass material type thing? This one's the
white crochet, so I thought this would be quite nice to have downstairs. There's a rocking stand
included. Easy to assemble, it says. Comes with the mattress, so we need to pop that together
at some point. Let me just show you this one for now. I'll put you in the kitchen,
because it does feel a bit dark in here. I think it's because of the weather obviously, but
we ain't complaining. He's going to follow me in in a second, because he's like, come on.
I want to go for my... We're going in a minute, I promise. We have to get our raincoats on, hey,
and get your boots on. He doesn't wear raincoat or boots. He would not thank me for that.
We had big lights on. Right, Bloom & Wild. Lights flickering. We got an app set up,
I remember it was last year, which I haven't had to put the big lights on for ages,
and it's so that we can control the lights through, but every time I flick it on,
it does that flashing, which is a bit annoying. Anyway, you can get a free card. This one just
says with Love, Bloom & Wild. If you are thinking about gifting someone something,
and this could be for any occasion really, given that it's a bit generic, but they have
new baby bits as well. They've got some baby toys, a Peter Rabbit gift set.
They've got lots of foodie items, drink. This Dalesford one includes, we've got
some organic sea salt dark chocolate, some of their Manuka honey oat cake biscuits.
Not the kind of oat cakes that I know and love, the actual oat cake biscuits.
The ones that I'm referring to are the North Staffordshire ones, if you know, you know.
They're like a big pancake-y type thing that you can fry off or heat up in the microwave.
Delish. Some tea. I'm not really a tea drinker, but Tom goes through periods actually of enjoying
tea, and he's in one at the minute. I don't know again if it's maybe because it's getting a bit
cooler outside, so he will love these. And it says, we find a pot of this goes particularly
well with scones or a slice of cake. Scones, I never say scones, I'm a scones, scone kind of
pronunciator. We've got, I'm saying the best till last, but we've also got orange and milk
chocolate butter biscuits. They sound good with a cup of tea. And then I wanted to try these,
I've seen them for a while, but never tried them before. They are the little, how cute is this
packaging? Little box of bird eggs, but they're actually chocolates. They are speckled chocolate
eggs filled with praline. They tend to do these at Easter time. Chocolate green finch bird eggs
with praline filling. These have just opened. Right, let's get out and go for a WA. I thought
it was going to be really dark on camera, but actually it's brightened up quite a lot,
but it is very dark. There's a little rumble of thunder in the air. And I actually spilled
this all down me, but we've secured the goods. I didn't spill it all down me.
I kind of went to, I sort of, it slipped out my hand and I went to grab it. And then the
bit where your drink comes out, sort of spat out a load of cream and drink all down my
trench coat, which is just great. But here we go. First sip of the season. Today is a good day.
I had a free drink as well, so they made me a huge one, which probably won't get through the
entire thing. It is like a dessert in a cup, but wow. You know how a scent evokes a memory?
That flavour exudes happiness for me. I did also get a cinnamon bun and I don't think I've ever
tried a cinnamon bun from Starbucks before, but the amount of cream that was on the top, I was
like, I'm going to have to just balance you there for a second. Excuse the tension angle, but look
at that. Oh, it's worth it for the cream cheese on top, honestly. Wow, that's delicious. I think
if I do make some, you know how some people do like a drizzle of icing sugar? I'd do that. Thick
cream cheese. Delicious.
Here we go. What do we think? I have just come out to my first ever, we'll see how this goes,
my first ever pregnancy yoga class. But it's also right next to one of my fave shops. They've got a
in and around the Northwest and it's called Homebird. I'm sure you'll have seen me talk
about it before. So I've got 20 minutes before my class. So I thought I would pop in, have a
little look around, see what new goodies they've got in Homebird. I love a little browse in Homebird.
If you can get to one, I would say it's also worth the travel because they have, I think
they have quite good prices on a lot of things. Not everything, but most things I think are quite
affordable. So yeah, we'll pop in there and then I have no idea what to expect. I've kind of
waiting until I'm past that 20 week scan mark to do any kind of form of exercise and I'm looking
forward to it. I'm looking forward to moving my body. I feel quite stiff in my hips and legs and
I feel like it would be good to like loosen things up and keep things moving and active
ahead of obviously labor, building a bit of strength. And also I love yoga for its mindfulness.
So we'll see how I go. I doubt I'm going to vlog anything because obviously first time in there,
we'll see. I could be the only one. It could be a big class. I have no idea.
And when I don't know what's to come, I start to get apprehensive, but I'm sure it'll be fine.
I kind of hope there are more people than just me. I would actually, when it's just like solo,
I'd be like, oh, all eyes on me. Can't have a break. We can, but you know. So I've got my water.
I don't need yoga mat. Apparently they bring one. They did say you can bring a cushion if you want
for a bit of comfort. So I have brought a little one just from the sofa, but I don't know whether
I'll take it in or not. I'll see in 20 minutes if I see anyone walking in with a cushion. If not,
might leave it in the car and see how I go. Anyway, let's go have a quick look at Homebird.
There's also actually near here, there's a shop just around this corner, which I might go to
afterwards. There's Waitrose, which might cause I need to do a bit of a food shop anyway. So I
get why they're saying that, but it's just like a little farmer market shop, fresh produce.
They've got a little juice bar in there, ice creams. But for the most part, it's like lots
of fresh fruit and veg and I do actually fancy a juice. You can maybe get a juice there afterwards.
Let's go have a look in Homebird. They always have the best baskets as well on the door. I'll
Here we go. Look how big they are. Huge. Actually, a really nice round one would be nice. £69 for
that one. They are absolutely massive. They usually have a lot of smaller ones as well,
but it seems to just be the big ones that they've got. £35 for that one. Really nice log basket.
See how nice is this pot? And it's only £15. I really like that little vase. These pots are
really nice as well and would work well in our kitchen, like on the dining table. £59 for that.
Love this curved console and it's in the sale. Does it damage? I can't see where, but
that one's down from £5 to £350. Love that lamp and artwork as well. Really nice. It's quite a large
lamp. Love this setup, how they've got on this bed, a little almost breakfast tray. And it is,
how much is it? £95 for the tray and stand. It's just a gorgeous tone,
very Neptune, White Company style. We've got one of this brand in our downstairs
loo and it smells really, really good. So if you've been near St Eval,
give them a whiff and give them a try because they smell so nice. Some autumn stems in as well
and I can see pumpkins. I actually found these. They're in HomeSense now and that size is £7.99.
So check out HomeSense in case you, in fact, I think the one that I've got is slightly smaller
than that at £7.99, but it's the exact same brand. I have this from here last year and
we've also got a little Hello Pumpkin mug, £7.95. These ones, the Gisela Graham 750,
love that. A Halloween flat white. I thought this would be nice for a home office and it's £12.95,
not bad. I don't think I've seen this range in here before, but they've got these,
like enamel colanders, £24.95 and also the ceramic matching garlic pot. Love that, £24.95.
I think that's a pretty good price because these like garlic confit, not confit, like garlic pots
tend to be quite pricey, even at antiques fairs when I've found them. Also, how gorgeous this
champagne bucket, £115. It's obviously got the liner on the inside for the ice.
Love this guy, this little terracotta pumpkin, £9.95. It's kind of like a pottery barn one
that you would find and you could have it plain or more Halloweeny. Just spotted these large
wooden boards, which I love the look of, they're £24.95. I really like the dark
wood tone and the shape as well. They kind of look a bit antiqued actually,
and a bit aged. I love the little like knots and distressing on it, really like that. You
might remember we've got the wooden card holder box that they've got and they now do this
dice with holder for £6.95, three little dice in there. And then they also have this little mini
Skittles set. And again, in the wooden box is for a bit more of like the aesthetic
bookshelf edition type games, that one's £16.95.
Just take my hair out whilst it is frettled. Fresh in my mind, I thought I'd give you a post
prenatal yoga class update. I really enjoyed it. I definitely think I'll book on for more.
And I just loved how it was very relaxed, we're all in it together. Because obviously simple
movements, when you compare it to how you could move before, have to be altered. Yeah, I just,
I really enjoyed it. I was worried that I, you know, my fitness levels or, or that I'd be behind.
But actually, no, it was really welcoming and relaxing. And exactly what I would want to get
from a yoga class. So really enjoyed it will definitely book on for like a block of classes.
And it's nice to meet other ladies in the same situation. Post prenatal yoga update, success.
Right, I'm gonna head over to do a bit of a food shop now though. So I think
I might actually go by that place to get a juice because I'm just feeling it's lunchtime and I'm
feeling like I need something because the class is at midday. So I've not really had anything
other than breakfast and now it's already half one so. I've heard these are really good for
like a nice easy option for like a ready meal, the field goods. And they've got some like savoury
meals. They've even got some desserts. They've got crumble sides and I believe you can just
microwave them from frozen. So very easy. I might even treat myself to one tonight where I'm dining
solo tonight. Did you miss me? Did you miss me whilst I was gone? Oh, it's so nice to come home
to a wagging tail. Anyway, let me show everybody what I bought from the Whole Foods place.
A very small loot, but nonetheless, I wanted some cashew butter. So I saw that they had some.
An avocado, loving nectarines. So I bought a couple of those and a mango. That rocky road
looked so irresistible. It doesn't look like there's any raisins in there either, which
I personally am a fan of rocky road without the raisins.
That could be unpopular opinion. I don't know, but the thickness of the chocolate looks so good.
And then yeah, I've got these field good meals to try. Now these are obviously straight in the
freezer, keep in the freezer and the best befores are pretty good. So I decided to just get four
and these be more of a kind of like a last minute, lazy option, save Tom's out. And I just need
something to throw in the oven or microwave. So some of them are oven, some are microwave. I know
this one's microwave, the Italian meatballs and tomato sauce microwave from frozen as well,
which is so good. Beef lasagna, chicken and leek pie. So obviously this one's in the
oven because you've got to bake the pastry. And then this was clusters aside, but I mean,
I would easily have a Mac and cheese to myself. It's probably not the most nutritious, but,
or if we have steak one night, I always think it's nice side option to have.
Oh, push that in. Thank you, baby. And yeah, that's my little shopping haul. I'm about to
just pop out to go and meet my friend Lydia for a coffee. We've got a new,
a new coffee shop that, well, one that we already like. In fact, one that I've been to for quite a
while because they first opened one in Anstalt it's called, which is near, it's like where we go
when we go to live them. Those are Reggie's and then they opened up one in Hale. They've now
opened a new one up in Altringham. So we thought we'd go grab a coffee. They have said that it's
opening today though. So I don't know if it's going to be busy or not, but I think they've got
an offer on of like one pound coffees all day. So we just kind of happened to have timed it where
it's opening day. So it might be busy. We might end up going elsewhere, but we're going to plan
to meet in Altringham in about, we'll set off in half an hour. But I thought I would show you the
bits that I got from Homebird and also a couple of deliveries that I've had actually. Let me start
with the biggest cause this needs a second. This is a beauty of an autumn wreath. I, my intention
is to have this for years and years and years, excuse me. And, um, I need to get out the autumn
decorations at some point, probably today or tomorrow, at some point this weekend with Tom's
help to get out the autumn decorations and start going through it. But I wanted to, uh, I can't
but this I knew I loved and will love more than anything that I already own. So this hopefully
is going to be a door front door wreath that I will have for years and years and years. It was
a bit more of an investment than any other that I've bought before. And it is huge, but how perfect
is this for autumn, especially an autumn lover that likes the neutrals. I think on our black front
door would look beautiful. I like the fact that there's no pumpkins or anything on it. I like the
fact that it's just foliage, just leaves. Really, really like it. Where did I get this from?
Suffolk Nest it's called. The brand that they've got actually loads of really beautiful faux
flowers and faux floral arrangements. I'll show you this as well because this arrived in the mail.
We need to make something from this. I don't know whether or not today or
in a future vlog, but the pumpkin, the pumpkin spice cafe cookbook. If you know the Laurie
Gilmore series that she's got now with several books, she has done this 60 delicious Dream
Harbour recipes. You don't have to have read the book to get this. If you just want a cozy
autumn inspired cookbook, then I feel like this is for you. And I say autumn inspired,
but it is categorised with all the different books that she's got. So yes, there's the pumpkin spice
cafe, but there's also Cinnamon Bun Bookstore, Christmas Tree Farm, Gingerbread Bakery, and then
there's the Strawberry Patch Pancake House and the Daisy Chain Flower Shop. So they're actually a bit
more lighter, like this is the back of the book. Iced Lemon Pound Cake. That looks delicious.
French Toast with Blueberry Compote. So that section is the Daisy Chain Flower Shop,
but then this section, Strawberry Lemonade. So there's some drinks, recipes, shortcake, pancakes,
Jam with Scones. That's the Strawberry Patch Pancake House category. So they've got loads.
Christmas Tree Farm, Christmas recipes, Nutty Plum Tray Bake. We're in the Cinnamon Bun
Bookstore now. Noah's Blueberry Pancakes. And then the pumpkin spice section, we've got pumpkin spice
latte recipe, hot chocolate, milkshakes, cookies, scones, Halloween, Loganberry Pie,
pumpkin pie. These looked good actually. I thought we could make these at some point. This
Spiced Apple Crumble Cake. Anything apple flavoured I'm a sucker for, or even these look good.
Pumpkin Spice Breakfast Bars. Delish. Anyway, I thought I would show you that. It's quite
affordable as well. So I'll leave that one linked below. And then for, oh, another delivery that I
got. A few of you tagged me on this. If you follow Fran on Instagram, she's got the best
HomeSense inspo. For a HomeSense lover, you'll love her Instagram, AtHomeWithFran.
And she and I both have a golden retriever. So if she ever buys anything with a golden
or vice versa, it's like we both know that we both need it. And we have similar styles as well,
everything that she buys I like. So I saw that she tagged this on her stories,
which I'd already bought and it was on route in the mail. And quite a few of you had screenshots
it and sent it to me and said, this is made for you. So I messaged her and she was like,
I was going to send it to you. But yeah, it was already on route, but it's from Anthropologie.
They've done a collaboration with Barber and they've done this autumn mug with a golden
retriever on it. I think they have another breed of dog as well, but yeah, this is going to be my
new favourite autumn mug. And obviously you can keep this out all year round, but it's just
the pattern and everything, the colours. I thought that would be a really nice new autumn
mug to add to the collection. From HomeBird. I did get this, which I'd seen on their socials
and I wanted to add to, you know, like our games drawer, we've got like a wooden
card box with playing cards in. Well, this, it was from HomeBird and...
Oh, that's my phone. One second.
Inspectors spam, so I'm absolutely leaving that call and not answering it. And then they also
now have a dice box. So I decided to grab that to add to my little wooden boards collection,
games collection. £6.95 for that. And then I also got this terracotta pumpkin
that was reminding me very much of Pottery Barn. I did order one off Amazon. I'll show you.
Don't particularly love it, the quality and everything. And it was about £14.95,
but it's damaged on the inside. So I was going to return it and I filled in the form and everything
on Amazon. And because I showed the damage, which is, it's on the inside, so it like all chipped on
the bottom on the inside. And when you shook it, like you could hear all the chip marks. So I
thought, I'll just say it's damaged, want to return. But they said, don't worry, just keep it
and we'll still refund you anyway. So I've still got that. But yeah, I much prefer this one. And
this one was cheaper as well. It was £9.95 and it's slightly bigger and it's an actual terracotta.
The other one's just a plastic. And obviously if you wanted it less Halloweeny, you could just
have it that way around. But yeah, do you see what I mean? And it's classic Pottery Barn style,
isn't it? Where they have all the terracotta pumpkins and stuff like that. So yeah, I've
got that. And then last but not least, I got this vase, which I just thought was really nice size
and got kind of like a somewhat narrow neck for just a single stem, maybe like a dried
or like dark looking hydrangea. Hello, gorgeous boy. Are you coming to see what mummy's bought?
What are you sniffing me for? Do I smell? Do I smell? Is there food in here or something?
What are you smelling? Right, so nobody wants to see your bum bum. Can you spin? Spin?
There we go. Good boy. Yeah, so I got this vase.
Hello. Honestly, he's scared of his own shadow, like when you have a bottle.
Anyway, yeah, this gorgeous little vase. I love how like rustic and detailed it is. And again,
I thought this was really affordable. Was it about £15, something like that? Yes,
they're my little purchases that I wanted to show you before heading back out to
go and have a little catch up with my friend. The doorbell just went and I've ordered a jacket. So
I'm getting to the point, oh, this is a new purchase as well, I suppose that I could show
you. Since starting my pregnancy yoga and loving that class and deciding that I'm going to commit
to it. She had these from Yoga Matters and I decided to buy one because I just found it really
comfortable having this like hard bolster to sit on. So I got one of those. But yeah, I also bought
this. I've been shopping. This I just thought would be so like, just one of those practical
purchases to throw on for a dog walk. It's kind of like a hybrid between a dry robe and just like
actually a dog walking coat from Regatta. And like I said, it's more for just practical throw
on. It's chucking it down. It's starting to get a bit colder. Oh, it's a bit big.
We've got plenty of room for growth. Maybe I don't need a large to extra large.
But do you see what I mean? Like in winter as well, when you've got layers on underneath.
Hold on, let me go and show you in the other room because I feel like the black
background is making it harder to see. A nice long as well. That's the other thing because at
the minute, the jacket that I wear that is currently waterproof, although to be fair,
once it's just settled a bit and I do need the extra room for bump because my coat doesn't have
that room at the minute. If I want to do up my coat, it's tight across my bump already. So I do
need this. But yeah, as I was saying, the coat that I've already got, it goes to sort of like
there, but it makes when you're walking as well, it kind of rides up a bit. So when I went for a
walk the other day and it was chucking it down, all my legs were like wet through. And I thought
you either commit to wearing waterproof trousers as well, or just get a big coat like this and
just whatever you're wearing, just throw it on over the top as like an added layer waterproof
long. I know it looks huge and it does feel big, but I think I'm going to keep it in this size.
Um, and it would be good for even like having had baby to be able to fit baby inside with me.
Cause you know, you get some of those coats which come with an extra zipper panel so that you can
fit if you've got baby on a carrier. Cause obviously we're having a winter baby. I'm sure
we're going to be having some colder walks where they need to maybe just be on a carrier and I
don't know. We'll see. We'll, we'll ride the journey as we go and learn along the way. But
I do think it's going to be quite practical to have this. And they were quite affordable. These,
they had loads of different colours from 30 pounds, something like that. So I'll leave this one
linked below as well. Right. Let's go out for a nice little coffee. Now I'm hoping it's actually
not going to rain, but I've got a little brolly just in case, but I don't need this. Cause it's
definitely not going to be torrential. I've said it now watch it be torrential. And this is what
I'm wearing to head into Hale for a little coffee, Hale, Altrincham, I'm sorry. My bag,
do you remember I got this suede bag from the market in Nice in France. I haven't worn it yet.
And I just thought I would grow it. It's kind of like more of a lighter colour, I suppose,
better suited to spring, summer, maybe, but also autumn as well. And we are still in summer.
Officially. I didn't say that I take that back. Ignore what I just said,
but officially we are still in summer. But yeah. And then this denim over shirt,
which I got from Sainsbury's recently, little basic baby tee from Abercrombie,
Tala leggings, and they are the maternity ones. So we've got nice stretch on them,
just some trainers, just some basic trainers, very comfortable and casual today. Did anyone
who's ever experienced pregnancy get any heartburn? I know it's like super common too,
or if anyone's pregnant now currently gets heartburn. Recommendations on what I could
take. I remember seeing somewhere ages ago, someone saying something about this brand that
they're almost like little love heart sweets. But I can't remember what the name of the brand is.
So if you know what that is or any other recommendations like me now, I've never
really suffered with heartburn before ever, and it can get quite uncomfortable. But anyway,
are you coming with me, bud? Do you want to stay here or do you want to come with mummy?
Should we go for an adventure? I can see that tail. Come on then.
Let's go for an adventure. Go get some coffee. Drizzling again. And I've just noticed the
markets are actually open today. So we could maybe have a quick look in there as well.
I'm just waiting for Lydia. It's quite muggy. It's hot, but it's obviously raining. So I'm
We'll just wait in the car whilst we wait then, shall we, Barn?
Finally putting my new Matalan soup mug to good use because it is the season that we introduce
soup and cheese toasties, and it's one of my favourite easy meals. We've got this sourdough,
protein sourdough left over. I'm trying to up my protein a little bit, and I thought,
oh, there's not going to be much in this. But actually, the protein sourdough, the cheese,
and then this, which Tom and I are going to share, the tomato, red pepper and lentil protein
power soup from the bowl. Never tried it before, but we will give it a whirl, see how it tastes.
And then how I do my toasties, I always get a little pan, pop some oil, butter the outside
of the bread. Just makes it nice and crispy and with all the melted cheese in the middle.
Sorry, I'll just have to excuse the fact that I am hair not styled makeup free,
but I've just got out of the shower, had a hair wash, had our dinner, which was delicious,
and now I'm ready to chill. They've actually gone, oh, it's seven o'clock already, so just a quick
few holes on the golf course, bit of a stretch of the legs for Barnie in the evening. And then
I'm just chilling, honestly. I can't even walk around the golf course with them now,
like a full nine holes or anything, but it's okay. I am happy to chill here. I've actually
just put on a programme called, it's on Netflix, there's three episodes and it's called Death of
the Pastor's Wife. So I've just put on that, it's kind of like a true crime three-part
documentary type thing. So enjoying that, and I thought I'd show you my snacks of choice this
evening. We have, these are fantastic, the Daylesford bird eggs, Greenfinch bird eggs,
and they come in a little, like a little cardboard box. Can you see? They're just like
chocolate praline. We've also got, although these have been rinsed, a few left of the
cornflake clusters. These from Aldi, a bit of M&S juping, not as good as the M&S ones,
but they are quite nice. They're quite big. Let me show you. For a bite size pot,
treat. Oh, they smell good. It's half cookie dough. I'll show you.
Half cookie dough, half brownie, and then chocolate coated. So I'll finish that in a
second. And then I did get out these, but we've cut these boxed up. They're just biscuits,
orange and milk chocolate biscuits. So we'll keep those sealed up for now.
So that's my evening dessert TV snack of choice. So I think that is going to go ahead
and conclude today's video. Oh, I got a red mark there. I'm sure that is weird.
What is that? Oh, I have to show you this as well, actually. Tom's mum found this in a charity shop
and she bought it because it looked like Barney. How much does this look like Barney? Just popped
it on the shelf for now, but look, that could totally be him. I don't think his tongue's that
big, but it doesn't say much about it or whose dog it was or anything like that, but how gorgeous
is that? Dishwasher loaded, all the pots are done. We're ready to chill out for the rest of
this evening. And I thought it would be a good time to close off this video here. I hope you
guys are feeling nice and cozy and have enjoyed today's video. If you have, I would love it if
you would give it a thumbs up. And if you haven't already subscribed to my channel, then please do
so for more content like this. Have a lovely rest of your day and I hope to see you all very soon
in my next video. Bye guys.
