It's nine months.
I mean, it's the amount of time they said from the very beginning that if I did
everything the right way, I would be ready to play week one.
And it's just been about being a plan.
I'm someone that, you put something out in front of me.
I wanna go out and get it.
I wanna go out and maximize every single opportunity,
every rep in the weight room.
Yeah, I think I'll always have a chip on my shoulder.
The way that last season ended, I actually wasn't happy with it.
Hadn't been happy with any of the seasons, the way they did it.
I'm trying to put it out into the world.
I'm trying to manifest it.
I'm trying to show our guys the urgency that I have and
that I want us to have as an organization to go and make it happen.
You can keep pushing it down the road and you can talk about it now and
say this is the year.
I'm tired of saying next year, next year, next year.
This is it.
I already thought it was a stack deep line with verse.
Obviously things transpiring happen and then you get a guy like Miles here.
A generational talent and it's like, that could be fun.
Baby, if you don't have the chills, check your pulse.
After all the offseason chatter, it is time.
It is time to lock in our season picks and
predictions for the 2026 NFL season here on Shine Time.
Let's go.
AFC East, here's how I stack it.
I think the Buffalo Bills will win the division.
I have one team from the division making the playoffs, Buffalo.
Patriots for a second, the Jets, and in dead last, the Miami Dolphins.
Let's go team by team.
It is unequivocally Josh Allen's time to shine.
I think that Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills are ready to rock and roll.
You heard Josh Allen all offseason talk about the bad taste in the mouth after
what transpired against Denver.
Just had him on my Sirius XM radio show and
the vibes under Joe Brady, new head coach, right guy, right time.
They're off the charts.
Sean McDermott's won a lot of games.
You couldn't win a Super Bowl with him.
He had to go.
He needed to bring in a new head coach and
he brought in a great new defensive coordinator in Jim Leonard.
I'm obsessed with DJ Moore as a new stud wide receiver.
Absolutely love Bradley Chubb getting to the opposition's quarterback.
Still love James Cook.
Dalton Kincaid's gonna have the best season he's ever had at the tight end
position.
Josh Allen is the best quarterback in the NFL for 2026.
He will be the best player in the NFL in 2026.
I can't wait to watch the Buffalo Bills in their new stadium with their new
uniforms rock and roll this season.
Look, I think the Patriots gonna be good, not great.
I think last year was a bit of a fluke when you take a look at
that easy schedule, give them credit, they won a lot of close games.
But I just don't believe that Drake May and company can do it again.
I love Drake May, I think he's a top ten quarterback in the NFL.
I love AJ Brown, what a phenomenal acquisition.
I love Romeo Dobbs.
I just think Buffalo's better.
I don't love the New England offensive line.
I don't love that defense.
I don't think it's elite.
Plus, the schedule is much more difficult.
Easily, the New England Patriots could start this season 0-4
when you look at who they play to start the campaign.
I think the Jets gonna be fun to watch this year.
I have the Jets winning seven games.
I think the Jets are gonna be a real football team.
A team the Jets fans can be proud of.
I really believe that Geno Smith, major upgrade.
I love Garrett Wilson this year.
I think he's gonna be a top ten wide receiver.
Love Brees Hall, I think he's gonna be a top ten running back.
Aaron Glenn has to improve after a debacle first year as the Jets head coach.
I think the skill positions are excellent.
I think the offensive line is solid.
I think Demario Davis, who played for Aaron Glenn in New Orleans,
will help the professionalism and the execution on defense.
I think the Jets win seven games this year,
and this will be a step in the right direction
to make the playoffs next season.
Dolphins are gonna be a hot mess.
Like, the worst team in the NFL.
I think that they have the right brass with Jeff Haftley
and John Eric Sullivan, new head coach, new general manager.
I like Malik Willis as a quarterback,
but he cares nothing around him.
No talent in any way, shape, or form other than H.N., that's about it.
And I think the Miami Dolphins are going to be dreadful.
A two-win football team, the Miami Dolphins,
when you look at it this season.
So how about the AFC North?
And listen, I think this division
is going to be absolutely positively sensational.
I have three playoff teams in the AFC North.
I love the Cincinnati Bengals this year.
I think Cincinnati is gonna live up to all the hype.
I love what Joe Burrow has been saying all off-season,
in terms of manifesting it and believing it.
And it's not just random off-season chatter.
The Cincinnati Bengals looked the part in the off-season
by doing things that were uncharacteristic
for this football team,
in terms of trading for Dexter Lawrence,
giving up a first-round pick,
spending money on defense,
active in free agency.
And Joe Burrow's back.
Joe Burrow's healthy.
Jamar Chase is unbelievable.
Chase and T. Higgins, the best one-two punts
at the wide receiver position in the entire league.
Line is good, Chase Brown is solid, running the football.
Joe Burrow's gonna have the best regular season he's ever had.
I can't wait to see the Cincinnati Bengals
win a minimum of 12 games this season.
I'm obsessed with the Baltimore Ravens.
Absolutely obsessed.
And more specifically, I'm obsessed with Lamar Jackson.
Talked to Lamar Jackson on our SiriusXM radio show,
and honestly, I talked to him every single August
on our show, and this was the best I've ever heard of him.
He's foaming at the mouth for this season.
He is fired up about Jesse Minter,
thinks that he is, quote,
a breath of fresh air as the head coach.
And he loves Declan Doyle, the new offensive coordinator.
Listen, I think in terms of running the football,
in terms of chunk plays, splash plays, big plays,
I think this offense for Baltimore
is going to be unstoppable.
Lamar said he is 100% physically, 100% mentally.
Ravens win 11 games,
they make the playoffs via the Wild Card.
I dig the Steelers.
I've been saying it on Shine Time all offseason.
I think Mike McCarthy's the right guy at the right time.
Mike Tomlin, phenomenal job when you look at
a couple of decades in Pittsburgh,
but they won a playoff game with the Pittsburgh Steelers
since they beat Alex Smith and the Kansas City Chiefs.
That's a lifetime ago.
Mike McCarthy, Aaron Rodgers back together.
They will make sweet, beautiful music.
And the final season for Rodgers and his legendary career,
still a ton of gas left in the tank.
McCarthy, Pittsburgh native.
His X's and O's are great.
I love Rico Darrell as a pickup and running back.
Michael Pittman Jr., love him at the wide receiver position.
And Aaron Rodgers is going to go out
at the end of the day with a bang.
He's going to be all smiles.
I think the Steelers make the playoffs.
I think they win a playoff game.
I think T.J. Watt in the defense
will be much better than last year.
11 wins for the Pittsburgh Steelers
and they will make the playoffs.
The Cleveland Browns are the Cleveland Browns.
Deshaun Watson is the quarterback.
That's where hope goes to die.
The sad thing is, I actually think the Browns
have some good parts and pieces on offense,
around them, young receivers,
and at the tight end, Harold Fannin.
And when you look at the running back position,
but you can't take this team seriously this year
with Deshaun Watson under center.
How about the AFC South?
I think the Houston Texans
are going to be terrific this season.
I think there's one team in this division
that will eventually make the playoffs
and it's going to be Houston.
I think the Texans with C.J. Stroud,
and I think Stroud is going to even out his play.
I think you're going to see Stroud and Nico Collins
and Nick Caley's offense
really just do a much better job
than what we saw last year.
Nico Collins, to me, is absolutely an elite wide receiver.
I think Stroud will be helped
by three new offensive linemen.
I think he will be helped by David Montgomery,
now with the running back position,
team him with Woody Marks.
I think that's an upgrade.
I think that C.J. Stroud,
you'll never see what we saw his rookie year,
where it was arguably the best rookie season ever
in the history of the NFL,
the quarterback position.
He's coming off of the single worst playoff game
in the history of the NFL, the quarterback position.
But I like C.J. Stroud.
I think he's going to be good.
Not necessarily great,
but he just needs to make sure
he doesn't ever have that kind of performance ever again.
His regular season last year was good.
I think he'll be even better.
I think that eventually they can come
to a contractual agreement after this season.
I don't think that will happen now.
I don't think it makes sense for either side,
either Stroud, who's coming off that awful game.
If you're Nick Casario and the Texans,
you want to wait and see.
Listen, I love D'Amico Ryans.
I think he is one of the best coaches in the NFL.
That defense is the best in the NFL.
I love Will Anderson.
I love Stingley.
I love Hunter.
I love him on every single level.
Texans win 11 games this year.
They win the AFC South.
I am going to lose a lot of sleep
over not picking the Jacksonville Jaguars.
This was my toughest omission.
I think Jacksonville, at the end of the last year,
was the best team in the AFC.
Trevor Lawrence, in theory,
second year working with Liam Cohen,
should be able to take his game and his name
to a different level,
especially if Thomas can regain his form
from his rookie year at the receiver position.
I love Jacoby Myers.
I think they could run the ball with authority.
I think they have a good defense.
I felt bad not putting the Jags in the playoffs.
Listen, they could end up winning the Super Bowl,
and I would have just missed the boat here,
but they were my last omission here
for my playoff predictions.
I think the Colts are kind of the human shrug emoji.
I mean, I think they're gonna be good.
Last year, they were great before Daniel Jones got hurt.
They were 8-1.
I do think Jonathan Taylor is gonna have a monster season.
Alec Pierce looks like he's on track
to be healthy instantly and play right away,
which is great.
I still don't understand the Pittman trade.
I think the defense is good, not great.
I will take the Colts to win nine games,
and you know the expression.
Remember the Titans?
Forget about the Titans!
I had such high hopes for this team.
I had such good vibes for this team.
You know, maybe you shouldn't overreact to August.
I'm gonna overreact to August.
Robert Sowell looks dazed and confused.
Brian Dayball, I don't know what the hell's going on
with that offense.
I loved Cam Ward out of the U a couple of drafts ago,
as their one overall pick, and I still do.
I'm just waiting for something.
Some kind of sign.
Haven't seen it yet, so when you take a look at Cam Ward,
yikes.
Let's go out West.
And honestly, I love the Chargers.
And I know that the center's done for the year,
and I have to at least process that,
but I think that this team is loaded.
And I love Justin Herbert, and he needs to be great,
and he has to ultimately, when it's all said and done,
become a true great quarterback.
But I think the signs are there.
You have Mike McDaniel now calling the plays.
That's a monster upgrade.
You have Rashawn Slater, his left tackle back.
You're bringing David Njoku.
He's happy with Madison Beer.
This all matters here.
I think that the line is gonna be solid,
even without their center.
Defense is really strong.
Jim Harbaugh's fantastic.
So I think the Chargers will win the AFC West.
I'm gonna take the Broncos to make the playoffs.
I think the Broncos have a top three defense in the NFL.
I think Sean Payton's going to the Hall of Fame.
I think he's a fabulous head coach.
I think Jalen Waddle is gonna have a monster season,
and this guy.
Look, it's the year of the Knicks,
so I can't, at the end of the day,
have playoff predictions and not put Knicks in the playoffs.
I said I just needed to see him healthy
after the ankle surgeries, plural, from the offseason,
and he looked healthy
in the preseason game against Green Bay,
and I told you on Shine Time, that's all I needed to see.
Bo Knicks, baby.
Knicks tape.
I'm excited for what the Broncos are gonna look like.
So that means no Chiefs in the playoffs.
Now, I'm not one of these haters.
I think that Mahomes is gonna be fantastic.
I think they'll win nine games.
I just don't think the Kansas City Chiefs
have the requisite talent.
Frankly, when I say nine wins,
that's because of Patrick Mahomes,
because of Andy Reid, because I love Kenneth Walker.
I thought that was an excellent pickup.
I hate the receiver position.
I think there's no depth in talent.
I don't think the defense is very good.
Travis Kelsey, obviously a little long in the tooth.
Just got married.
I don't know if you heard about that in the offseason.
So I have the Kansas City Chiefs
missing the playoffs this year, and look,
Kirk Cousins is officially under center
for the Raiders to start the season,
and that's where hope goes to die.
And I'm not surprised by it, obviously.
I mean, all the signs were pointing in that direction,
and Clint Kubiak has been outspoken about that,
even from the jump, but I just,
the Ashton Jenthe injury makes me nervous,
and I don't think the Raiders are going to be able
to ultimately function this year.
And I love the offseason, love the new head coach,
love Fernando Mendoza.
The vibes are not there when you take a look at it
for the Raiders.
I think they will be a five-win football team this season.
So let's recap and take a look at my playoff teams
outs of the AFC.
We have the Buffalo Bills.
We have the Cincinnati Bengals, the Houston Texans,
the LA Chargers, Baltimore, Pittsburgh,
and Denver as my playoff teams this year in the AFC.
Up next, we're going to go to the NFC.
Is it going to be Sean McVay's Rams or the field?
Plus stick around for my championship Sunday
and Super Bowl picks and the award tour.
Welcome back to Shine Time.
Let's start our NFC division picks with the East.
Let me tell you something.
I am so fired up for this division this year,
and I think the Dallas Cowboys
are absolutely going to live up to the hype.
We started the Dallas Cowboy hype train.
Everyone else is now following suit,
and this is going to be the year
where the Dallas Cowboys win the NFC East.
I am so amped for this because Dak Prescott is underrated.
I ranked him as the sixth best quarterback for 2026
when we did our Shine Time rankings previously.
I think Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens,
Ferg at the tight end position,
this passing attack under Brian Schottenheimer
is going to rock and roll.
I wouldn't be surprised if Dak Prescott
threw for 5,000 yards.
I think he's going to be top five for NFL MVP.
I think CeeDee Lamb is going to be top three to five
when you look at it for receiving yards.
And give Jerry Jones credits.
I mean, no drama this off season.
No contractual issues, no holdouts,
no garbage, no nonsense.
They brilliantly brought in Christian Parker
to be the defensive coordinator.
I think he is going to be superb.
I love what they did in the draft with Caleb Downs,
who's going to have as great a rookie season as anyone.
I think that he's got rookie of the year
written all over him.
Lawrence getting to the quarterback.
Quinn Williams is going to have
a phenomenal first full season
playing for the Dallas Cowboys.
He's still, to me, one of the best defensive tackles
in the entire league.
I'm obsessed.
Love Rashawn Gary, that pickup that they got from Green Bay.
And they're better on defense
than they were with Micah Parsons.
I'll just come out and say it.
So I love the Dallas Cowboys this year.
I think they are going to be dynamite.
I think they're going to win a minimum of 12 games.
I am obsessed with the Dallas Cowboys for this season.
Eagles make the playoffs,
but I have them as a wild card.
I am concerned about Sean Mannion
as a first-time offensive coordinator.
I'm concerned about Jalen Hurts without A.J. Brown.
I'm concerned about a change
with the offensive line coach.
I do think this defense is going to be unbelievable.
I think Saquon is going to have a great season.
I like Lemonette Receiver,
but I think the Eagles are loaded.
Harry Roseman always makes sure
that his team has a ton of talent.
Listen, Jalen Hurts has been to a couple of Super Bowls,
played brilliantly in both, 1-1.
I have so much respect for him.
I just don't think he's great-great.
And with a new play crawler
and issues thrown over the middle,
I think he's going to be strong this year.
I think they're going to be off the pace of the division,
and Dallas wins by a couple of games in the NFC East.
Giants win nine.
I think the Giants are going to be
a really good football team this year.
I'm obsessed with John Harbaugh.
I think Jackson Dart's being available
and staying healthy is everything.
I'm a big Dart fan.
I thought Harbaugh put together
a phenomenal offensive staff,
and I think that Jackson Dart
is going to have a truly strong second season.
Malik Nabors, got to be healthy.
I don't love the depth at wide receiver.
I don't like the overall talent
at the running back position.
I think Najee Harris is the one that has the most upside.
Defense, I think, is going to surprise some people,
how strong this defense is going to be.
Pass rush is going to be excellent.
I think they're going to be well-coached.
You know, no more nonsense
now that they have Harbaugh running the show.
They're going to be entertaining
for the first time in over a decade.
They're going to play meaningful games
in December for the first time in a long time.
Close but no cigar.
The Giants win nine.
I can't wait to watch the Giants play football this year.
I think Washington sticks.
I think the Commanders are going to be dreadful.
The offensive line looks deplorable.
I feel bad for Jaden Daniels,
but then again, he's more interested
in protecting his number at LSU
than he is, you know, getting ready for season three
for the Washington Commanders.
I think the defense doesn't have the requisite talent.
I think it is going to be a long year in Washington.
NFC North.
I think this division is going to be exceptional this year,
and I'm rolling with the Bears.
I'm actually surprised
that they're not the favorites in this division.
I love Chicago. I love Caleb Williams.
He will be the first Bear quarterback
to throw for 4,000-plus yards in a season.
I think Caleb Williams is going to be in the mix for MVP.
I think the world of Ben Johnson.
I think Colston Loveland is going to be
one of the three best tight ends in the league.
I think Burton takes a monster step forward
at the wide receiver position.
Caleb's got a knack, man,
in terms of getting it done when it matters the most.
He's a special talent, special player.
Whatever it is, Caleb has it.
I love this kid. I love watching him play.
I think he's going to have a monster season,
and the Bears are going to win the NFC North.
I like the Minnesota Vikings.
I told you on Shine Time,
if Kyler Murray became the quarterback early in August
that I would pick him to make the playoffs,
well, we're doing it.
And I think Kyler Murray, on a one-year prove-it deal,
coming from Arizona,
he's going to work under the watchful eye of Kevin O'Connell,
who's a quarterback guru, quarterback whisperer.
And I think Justin Jefferson's going to get back to his form
as the number-one wide receiver in the NFL.
I think Addison and Jennings
add some great depth there at wide receiver.
Line is solid.
A couple of backs who can run.
Brian Flores, phenomenal defensive coordinator.
I think America's sleeping on the talent
and coaching of the Minnesota Vikings.
I love this football team.
Look, the Lions have great top-end talent,
and their schedule is ridiculously easy.
So this was actually, for me, the toughest team to predict,
because you look at the schedule, and you're like,
well, these should be wins left and right.
It's like the Lions phoned the league and said,
You got it.
I just don't trust Dan Campbell.
I don't think he's a big-time head coach.
Love Jared Goff.
Love Jameer Gibbs.
Love Amon Ross St. Brown.
Love Hutchinson.
They've got dudes all over the fields.
The problem is Dan Campbell on the sideline.
And I have the Packers in last place,
and I think the Green Bay Packers
are going to be dreadful this year.
We've been through the schedule.
I think that Jordan Love is solid.
I don't think he's spectacular.
Not having Micah Parsons' first four weeks, at least,
I think that's problematic.
They're without Josh Jacobs.
That running back position is, frankly, deplorable.
The defense does not have great talent.
I think they start 1 and 5 in the first six
weeks of the season.
I think they win six games max this campaign.
NFC South.
Listen, this division is going to be something.
I considered all four of these teams.
And honestly, I think only two games
will separate the Saints from the Bucs
in terms of my NFC South prediction.
I have the Saints winning nine.
I have the Bucs winning seven.
I have the Falcons and the Carolina Panthers
each winning eight.
I considered all four of these teams.
I'm going to stay with the Saints.
I love Kellen Moore.
I love Tyler Shuck.
I love Chris Olave.
Listen, the Tyson injury makes me nervous.
But I love Travis Achan.
Signing him, I thought, was absolutely terrific.
I think that Kellen Moore will maximize
his second-year quarterback.
I think the defense is underrated.
I'm going to take the Saints to win the South.
Look, I very much consider the Atlanta Falcons.
If I knew Michael Penix Jr. was going to play week one,
I might have done it.
I love Penix.
I do not like Tua Tungabailoa in any way, shape, or form.
Obsessed with Bijan Robinson.
Obsessed with Kyle Pence.
Obsessed with Drake London.
Issues on defense in terms of a monster suspension,
a monster injury.
We're talking about the two first-round picks
from a year ago.
Kevin Stephens, he's going to help.
That's a big deal.
Just get Tua off the screen.
I can't look at him anymore.
That's the main reason why I couldn't pick
the Atlanta Falcons, ultimately, to win the division.
Carolina, I feel like people forget they won the division.
If I trusted Bryce Young more,
I would have picked the Carolina Panthers.
I think he's good.
I don't know if he's great.
Plus, in conjunction, they've had some offensive line injuries,
so that scares me.
Dan Morgan has loaded this cupboard
in terms of the talent.
I love McMillan.
TMAC is a terrific young wide receiver.
I will take the Panthers to win eight games.
Bucs, obviously, with Baker Mayfield.
You know they're going to be in the conversation
for everything.
Baker playing on a contract here.
Baker with a chip on his shoulder.
But there's been something up all preseason
with the Bucs and the Fives.
Injuries, contractual issues.
I have the Bucs finishing in last place.
NFC West.
I am rolling with the Rams to win the division.
I'm taking the Seahawks as a wild card team.
The Niners not making the playoffs.
And the Arizona Cardinals, dead last.
Rams are an absolute wagon.
This team is a machine.
I'm obsessed with Matthew Stafford and Puka Nakua
and Stevante Adams and Sean McVay's offense
and the tight ends and Kyron Williams
and Blake Corbin, the offensive line.
And that's before you even get to Miles Garrett
and Trent McDuffie and Aaron Donald
and the young cats up front on this defense.
I can't get enough of this football team.
How less need put it together.
14 wins minimum for the Rams.
This is not going to be a Hollywood flop.
It's going to be a box office bonanza.
I am obsessed with the talent, the coaching,
the mentality when it comes to the Rams.
I look at the Seahawks
and they're an interesting team to kind of figure, right?
Superbowl champ in a lot of ways,
kind of flying under the radar.
And they lost Walker in the off season, a running back.
And Clint Kubiak called the plays
and he takes the Raider job
and lost a couple of players off the defense.
But I still love Mike McDonald's.
And listen, I am a Sam Darnold trooper.
I am absolutely obsessed.
I created the Sam Darnold bandwagon of my own bare hands.
I still have the scars, the proof.
I'm obsessed with Darnold.
I love that he won a Superbowl.
I think he's going to have an even better year.
Jackson Smith and Digba, special ball player.
This team is buttoned up.
They're buckled up.
They have a great home field advantage.
Sam, I am you freaks.
And listen, I love when people start doubting our guy,
Sam Darnold.
I think Darnold and the Seahawks
make the playoffs once again.
49ers, this was the toughest omission
when you look at the NFC.
Because the 49ers could easily win the Superbowl this year.
Or they're going to do what I believe
and miss the playoffs and go eight and nine.
I just, I can't.
I know the upside with Kyle Shanahan.
I love Brock Purdy.
I love Christian McCaffrey.
I love Fred Warner.
I love Nick Bosa.
I love this team.
I just, they lead the league in stuff.
The owner, the coach, Ayoub.
Pearsall's done for the year.
You don't know who's healthy.
You don't know who's in, who's out.
It's just not healthy to pick San Francisco
to believe in them when you just can't trust them
week in, week out.
And then you have the Arizona Cardinals.
I love this organization.
I love this fan base.
I think they're going to win two games.
I love Jeremiah Love.
I love LaFleur as a choice for the head coach.
I like McBride.
I like Harrison.
I don't have a great quarterback.
The defense doesn't have the requisite talents.
It's going to be a long, lean year in the desert.
NFC playoff team recap.
Let's take a look one more time
at what we projected for this upcoming season.
I love the Cowboys.
We're going Cowboys, Bears, Saints, Rams.
And for wildcard teams, we have the Eagles,
the Minnesota Vikings, and the Seattle Seahawks.
Up next, which teams are advancing championship Sunday?
And will the Seahawks ultimately repeat as champs?
Plus, my individual awards still to come
right here on Shine Time.
Ah, yes, we're back on Shine Time.
And it's time for my championship picks.
Let's quickly recap my playoff teams in each conference.
AFC division winners, Buffalo, Cincinnati,
Houston, and the Chargers.
Wildcard teams, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, and Denver.
NFC division winners, the Cowboys, the Bears,
the Saints, the Rams.
Wildcards, Eagles, Vikings, Seahawks.
So who is ultimately going to play on championship Sunday?
You asked for it.
You got it.
I think this is going to be one of the greatest
championship Sundays in the history of the NFL.
Joe Burrow versus Josh Allen.
Winner goes to the Super Bowl.
And the Rams and the Dallas Cowboys,
with the Cowboys playing on championship Sunday
for the first time in 30 years.
Honestly, I can't get enough.
This is incredible.
This is gonna be amazing.
In fact, I think both games are gonna have
the same final score, 35-31.
And I'm going to take Buffalo getting over the hump
against the Rams for the Super Bowl.
The Bills and Josh Allen will get to the big game,
take on the Juggernauts-Rams in zone five
on Valentine's Day.
You wanted a Hollywood script.
You're thinking Aaron Donald comes back
and wins a championship.
No, not gonna happen.
The Buffalo Bills are winning the Super Bowl.
Finally, for the first time in franchise history.
I can't wait.
Josh Allen is going to be a combination
of Paul Bunyan and John Elway and Santa Claus
delivering the ultimate gift
to the long-suffering fans of the Buffalo Bills.
I think Josh Allen is gonna have the season of his life.
I think Joe Brady's the right guy at the right time.
I've been outspoken saying this team
couldn't win the big one with Sean McDermott.
And that was part of the failures and the flops
in the playoffs in the past.
Don't have to deal with any nonsense
like 13 seconds ever again.
I think Josh Allen versus Matthew Stafford
going to be the ultimate championship.
Nothing will derail our guy Josh Allen this season.
Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills.
Monster season of Monster Super Bowl from DJ Moore.
James Cook getting it done.
Celebrate, jump through tables, eat the Buffalo Wigs.
I'm here for it.
The Bills are winning a championship.
Next on Shine Time,
we wrap it up with my NFL award picks.
I just told you Matthew Stafford
won't win his second Super Bowl.
Botts, is he gonna repeat his NFL MVP?
The award tour is next.
Welcome back to Shine Time.
I've given you my division winners,
my wildcard team, my championship Sunday
and Super Bowl picks, all for free.
You're welcome, America.
And Kennan.
So let's wrap it up with the NFL awards.
So we'll get started with the NFL MVP.
A lot of great candidates this year.
I think Justin Herbert, Caleb Williams,
Dak Prescott will all be in the mix, among others.
Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson gonna have phenomenal seasons.
Josh Allen, baby.
This is going to be the best season of Josh Allen's life.
I just think that Josh Allen, as a thrower, as a runner,
with Joe Brady not only just calling the plays,
but now as the head coach,
I think he is gonna have a monster season.
I think he's gonna win a lot of tough games,
a lot of road games.
He's never won in Houston against that amazing defense.
That will start this year.
Everything's gonna go off on a right foot.
In terms of Josh Allen,
you see the accolades throughout his career.
I think he'll beat Patrick Mahomes in the regular season,
beat Lamar Jackson in the regular season.
This guy does everything.
He will win his second NFL MVP this campaign.
Offensive player of the year.
Justin Jefferson.
I think Justin Jefferson's gonna have a monster season.
I think he's the best receiver in the NFL.
He now has a quarterback in Tyler Murray
who's gonna get him the ball.
I always, for offensive player of the year,
I don't like to project quarterbacks.
I mean, we give quarterbacks enough stuff.
So I like to think about running backs.
I like to think about receivers.
I considered B. John Robinson for this,
Jameer Gibbs for this, Jonathan Taylor for this,
Christian McCaffrey,
but I just think Justin Jefferson is special.
And listen, he's an all pro.
He's been the offensive player of the year.
I voted for him that year.
He's just special.
I think he's gonna have just a monster season.
When you take a look at what he did the year
that he won the offensive player of the year,
you see the stats right there,
leading the NFL in the receptions
and the receiving yards that season.
I think he's gonna do the exact same thing.
Number one in all the categories that matter,
I think his touchdowns are gonna go through the roof.
We're gonna start doing the gritty
in honor of Justin Jefferson.
I think he is the offensive player of the year.
Defensive player of the year.
It'd be Captain Obvious to say Miles Garrett, right?
Will Anderson.
I think Will Anderson is an absolute freak.
He's a stud.
This guy is unbelievable.
He was number two on my list last year.
I'm not just a host of Grand Harem.
I'm also a voter for these awards.
He was number two on my list last year.
I think he's gonna have a monster season.
I think he's gonna lead the NFL in sacks.
I'm in the Texas defense.
He's gonna absolutely explode with the best in the NFL.
Will Anderson Jr. is my pick
for the defensive player of the year.
Offensive rookie of the year.
This category is weird, man.
I was gonna pick Jordan Tyson before he got hurt.
You can't go with Fernando Mendoza.
I don't think that Tate's gonna get enough touches.
I don't trust the quarterback in Cleveland
where I can look at some of the wide receivers there.
I voted last year for Cray Zabel,
who's an offensive guard,
so we can go in a lot of different directions.
I'm gonna go with Jeremiah Love,
who would be instant and obvious as my pick
if he was healthy during the preseason.
He wasn't, so it gave me pause.
I'll tell you who was runner-up.
His backup, Mr. Price,
who I think Price is gonna be right for him
running the football in Seattle.
But I think Jeremiah Love.
Let's assume health because I want to,
and I love Love.
Listen, I think Jeremiah Love.
He's not a running back, he's a weapon.
Hands, speed, likability, power.
I think he's gonna, assuming health,
he's gonna dominate this season.
Defensive rookie of the year, Caleb Downs.
I am obsessed.
I think he is going to absolutely rock and roll
and dominate and thrive.
He stops the run.
He's a hard hitter.
He makes plays.
He creates interceptions and turnovers.
I think there is a real chance
that Caleb Downs is not only
the defensive rookie of the year,
I think he ends up being first-team all-pro.
That's how special and superb I think Caleb Downs
is going to be instantly for the Dallas Cowboys.
That was not even a pick that I had to,
you know, have any kind of deliberation or hesitation.
Caleb Downs is my defensive rookie of the year.
And finally, current of the year.
I'm gonna go with Sean McVay.
I think the Rams are gonna have the best record
in the regular season.
I think Sean McVay keeping the train on the tracks
with the Monstars and obviously with the Gauntlet talent.
And a schedule, by the way, that's difficult.
And I think McVay, he is so skilled as a leader,
as a winner, and he's so great as an in-game coach.
And he's creative.
His offensive game plan is unbelievable.
My coach of the year, my guy, Sean McVay.
MVP, we're rolling with Josh Allen,
Offensive Player of the Year, Justin Jefferson.
Defensive Player of the Year, Will Anderson Jr.
Jeremiah Love for the Offensive Rookie of the Year,
Caleb Downs for the Defensive Rookie of the Year.
And the coach of the year,
in terms of my prediction for 2026,
we're rolling with our guy, Sean McVay.
That right there, it's a show.
If you missed any portion of the show, just do what I do
and re-watch the show over and over and over again.
