Texas A&M Forest Service Identifies Cause of Ross Fire

The Texas A&M Forest Service has determined that a tire blowout likely caused the Ross wildfire in Palo Pinto and Jack counties. The fire has burned 90,000 acres and is currently 38% contained. Governor Greg Abbott is visiting the area to survey the damage and meet with first responders as crews from across the country work to combat the blaze.
