Kade Nix on UCLA's best players

Who are two or three best players for UCLA on offense and defense? Well, I just mentioned one, Wayne Knight coming over 1,300 yards of James Madison. He's going to be a big playmaker on the offensive side of the ball. And then another transfer from James Madison. I think Landon Ellis in that wide receiver room will be a playmaker there. He showed us some flashes at James Madison last season. I think the passing game will take a huge step forward with him in there. And then another guy, Brian Rowe on the offense, another receiver coming from South Carolina. I think he has a lot of juice and he has the explosive ability to get up and down the field. And so both of those guys should help out Nico a ton. And then on the defensive side of the ball, I mean, another James Madison guy, Sahir West. I encourage all UCLA fans to go and watch that Troy Sunbelt Championship game against James Madison last year, where Sahir West broke two records in that game. I think it was for the TFLs and the sacks. I think it's three sacks in that game. So that was an incredible game for him. And then linebackers. I think Trent Hendrick could be one of the better players on this team, as well as Sammy Amosago coming from Oklahoma. So that linebacking group could be a special duo there as well.
