AUTUMN HALLOWEEN HAUL 🎃 Home Bargains, The Range, Hobbycraft M&S Shopping Vlog

Hello guys, good morning, welcome back to my channel, welcome back to a brand new vlog. I'm in a giddy mood today because it's a little chilly out there, chilly enough for a bit of a knit wear, but it's also quite sunny so it's a beautiful day and I'm gonna head over to the shop to do some autumn shopping and little birdie told me there might be some Christmas in there too which is crazy especially given that I'm due at Christmas, Christmas baby incoming, that just feels like in one sense so far away and the other sense it's like right around the corner, it makes me feel very unprepared but you know we've still got time, it's still August just the birth months are almost here, yeah I'm gonna go to the range because I've seen that they've started to get some bits in, there is also a home bargain so it's not the biggest but so many people have been saying I need to go to home bargains, Mrs Hinch home range like autumn, gorgeous and it does look gorgeous so I need to go and have a look anyway and just hope that they have some good stuff in there but I also think they've started to put their Christmas stuff out now which is just crazy. It's also next to an M&S so I thought we could just go check out, literally a good day for me is going to check out the M&S snacks because every time they bring something new out it's like a drug, I need to taste it and I've seen in the frozen section they do these frozen cookie dough bites like chocolate, let's keep our fingers and toes and everything else crossed that they have those in stock and also I do need to get some foodie bits in anyway so we'll do a bit of a food shop whilst we're there. So let me show you my outfit, I'm really enjoying wearing form-fitted things, oh Barney did you see that magpie? Did you see it? You're not on high alert, it was on your patio, naughty birdie. Yeah I was saying I'm enjoying more like fitted things across bump and I got this from H&M recently, it was only £10 this dress and then this jumper which I've just, I mean it does go down but like I've just pulled it up so that it kind of sits above bump and it's like a slash neck comfy merino wool, super soft from Abercrombie & Fitch that I also picked up very recently so I knew I'd get a lot of wear out of this jump and I'm already so glad I've decided to keep it. So this is my outfit, like I said it's sunny enough to wear Birkenstocks which is quite handy that these are the exact same shade as this dress, like a nice khaki. I've got my crossbody suede khaki bag, I have been loving that, where is it? I really have got my wear out of this bag, it's from All Saints, I don't believe they sell this colour anymore, I think they do it in a tan but this olive green I've just absolutely loved and I'm definitely leaning more towards, I feel like everyone is to be honest, leaning more towards an unbranded bag as opposed to you know like a big logo fronted bag, I mean even if it's a designer piece but just something that's a bit more understated and less brand heavy. So All Saints got a lot of wear out of this, I'm really really happy with it, so I've got my little crossbody bag, hands-free ready to shop, oh I was going to say shop till we drop but that's not very good saying, I don't want to be dropping anytime soon, shop till our heart's content, let's go. I've arrived and I need some food in me, one thing about being pregnant, well I was a bit like this before, when I need food I need food, it's not just a hunger thing, it's like right let's find some food now and the only real drive-thru around here is Tim Hortons, I know I'm going to M&S in a minute but that's, I wanted to do that last, let me have a look and see what we've got. Hi welcome to Tim's, may I take your order? Hi, I just need to have a quick look at the menu, just one second. No problem, take your time. Can you do um an ice latte as a decaf? Um I can, yes we can do an ice latte as a decaf one if you like. Yeah, just a small one please. Yeah no problem. And then can I also get a, I'll get one of the original breakfast wraps please. Yeah. I wish you could get the French vanilla decaf but you can't, they can put decaf shot in it. Hello you okay? No it's okay thank you. Yeah it's quite affordable Tim Hortons, I forget how cheap it is but their their coffee is really good but their French vanilla especially, I do love it but they don't do decaf because I think it's got like a powder or something they put in it with which already has the coffee in it um so it's probably not even that strong, I'd probably be all right with it but um just avoiding caffeine where possible and there you go, lovely thank you. Yes please, thank you and we're off. Right let's park up by the range I think, I forgot there's a hobby craft here as well so we could maybe even pop into there um but let's let's start with the range after I've had a little nibble to eat. Decaf ice, it's very milky, it's all right, it's not as good as their French vanilla, nice and refreshing. I've just seen three different people going into the range all pregnant, must be pregnant, pregnant ladies unite in the range today and then a little breakfast wrap. I don't usually get food from Tim Hortons other than their sweet treats which are really good, they do do a cheese melt which is quite nice but I felt like I needed something a bit more substantial. Nowhere to put you still in this car. Another thing I keep doing is looking at people like a lady's just done it in front of me there um putting their buggies away in their car. Now that we've got a pram and that it's just every time I um go in the front room which is where it is at the minute um we'll keep it in the garage as well initially but uh as and when I go in I just get Barney to touch it and to walk alongside it so that he's getting used to it but nearer the time we'll actually go out on a walk with him to practice because he needs he needs to not pull and stay next to the pram so hopefully he'll be okay doing that um but he's quite a skittish dog he's quite scared of things so I think he needs he'll need to get used to it um but what was I saying about pram oh yeah watching people put them in the car and each time I'm thinking well that's a pretty big car same size as mine if not bigger and that boot looks full with that pram so where's Barney gonna go I feel like Barney will go in the boot it's just a case of where's the pram gonna go uh behind my seat I don't know I have bought so hopefully it'll work it hasn't arrived yet a divide which goes up in the boot so that hopefully like at the minute he's got free rein oh baby's moving oh when you feel them flutters wow it's such a relief it's honestly the best feeling oh so so like just thinking of my past self like I just wished for the day that I would feel movement and now I'm getting it it's crazy um anyway stop me on my tracks what was I saying uh I don't know it's gone now if I've been distracted that's it it's gone we are hosting a bit of a party this Halloween a bit of a Halloween themed kind of Halloween themed baby shower potentially so I might keep an eye out for anything for that but we'll divide for the car which goes up and hopefully we'll have like a section where Barney's in the majority of the boot and then the other part we can maybe stand up the pram or like the actual once you've folded it down hopefully it'll slot in there um I mean the divide you can make as big or as small as you want you could do it straight down the middle if you wanted to but I just think Barney needs a bit more space than that because he's quite a long dog he's quite a big dog um what do people do with multiple dogs in fact I've seen on TikTok they have the baby seat in the back and the dogs get in the back and then the boot is more for the pram so that's another option but I don't again Barney being skittish we'd have to get him used to getting in the back seats as opposed to the boot and I always just would assume it's safer to have the dog in the boot as opposed to the dog being with the baby I don't know any suggestions of anyone that has Labrador sized retriever sized dogs and a baby with a pram that likes to get out and about and drive places please send your suggestions on what what you think I should do right let's head on in thing is I don't want a scary party I want a cutesy party so if these are all a bit too scary then maybe maybe not this year grab a basket just in case so first things first oh I love this I think I'm gonna get that £5.99 love love love love love I'm running through the door and I'm already seeing things I like I love this sign as well £8.99 this could be fun and it's not that scary £5.99 oh these ones are cool if you wanted to do floating candles is this a sign for what's gonna gonna be to come wow that's gorgeous and huge £21.99 I don't love the frame that they've done for it but this one with just the plain wooden frame is nice and it's only £17.99 I found another one that could go alongside it I think I might get both you know they sit alongside each other they're definitely teasing us with something so they have the cosy autumn even got their own actual autumn tree but I don't think I can see anything new that I haven't already shown you before I've not shown you these I don't think but then right next to the autumn actually I've seen these stems they're really nice I think the range actually has some quite nice faux stems I kind of attach these little pumpkins as well uh yeah right next to them is Christmas bits already so oh I love this giving Ralph Lauren Christmas £3.99 no £3.49 and then we've got the more gingerbread neutral style Christmas which again they've got some gorgeous bits that really nice antique gold frame that they've paired with this section is obviously not just Christmassy but love that and obviously you could get a print done from Etsy or something in fact I really like that it's very aged looking and the fact that it comes with a border as well and only £3.39 I think I'm gonna get that as well not that I need any more frames but that's literally all I've put in my basket so far and then they've got these book of boxes I love the letters to Santa one and then it comes with a gingerbread one too all the Christmassy scented oils trying to see some other new and bits that they might have as well that I've not shown you already before that vase is nice and only £14.99 and they've got some these would be nice that kind of office it's a letter rack uh office ware and they've also got some dated calendars £6.99 or the more neutral one again good for a home office these are planters but you could use them as a little wastebasket paper wastebasket in a home office as well guys apologies but I just can't not show you they've got so much Christmas stuff already so the oh do you remember my sign last year I had this £14.99 Christmas tree farm and then some more of these storage books boxes as well disco ball candle very fancy they've even got a disco tree diffuser some more autumn leaning into halloweeny as well with these bits and oh that vase is a pastry vase £8.99 and these ghouls and ghosts £17.99 they're looking quite friendly not too scary halloweeny vibes and this beautiful from the full collection hydrangea arrangement they've already done for you some really nice colours in that in fact I really like that I don't usually go for a floral arrangement that's already sort of set into the vase but the vase that comes with it is also really nice nice big piece of artwork as well even though these are in the wedding aisle I definitely think I could make use of some of these bits like these glass hurricane vases with pillar candles in for decorating a space I think is beautiful for weddings obviously as well but also for maybe like a halloweeny party we've also got these ribbed taper led candles these hurricanes I might even come back for these because I feel like they're not seasonal so they'll likely be here when I actually need them have I just jinxed that by saying that they're going to be here when I need them now I'm second guessing myself no they'll be here if not there's always at home since they always have hurricane vases and things like that as well some beautiful and pretty big wreaths these ones are in fact the biggest one is £29.99 and then these ones are the pumpkins £34.99 I have got a wreath coming from the suffolk nest which is more like just a leaf wreath so hopefully when that arrives that will look really nice on our front door but they've got loads of stems gorgeous autumn I remember seeing these ones for but I think they're a bit more spring-like to be honest there's something about these that I like as well again I know it's early but these are really handy for Christmas to get these burgundy and green depending on the colour scheme that you go for in your house for Christmas they have those colours which are less obvious than the bright white command hooks I've not seen this faux fur duvet set or this cushion if you like again the more neutrals and this cuddle up one so yeah they're definitely just teasing us because the Christmas stuff is definitely coming just not quite here just yet got some bits in their kitchen section as well some plates and crockery nothing jumping out at me I think I've got that wooden board in our storage room for display purposes a good way to do a little autumn display that cushion as well is quite nice although I have seen that already and these little icon mugs that are only £3.49 a little Halloween version with the ghosts although that one's not got a price on it so I'm not sure how much that one is oh there we go £3.99 and they've got the pumpkin version too although that one is broken lots of you have tagged me in the content online about this art £22.99 it's gorgeous it comes with this big burgundy ribbon that is beautiful I just don't know where I'd put it it's huge obviously a little hot chocolate station sign £4.99 I've seen some of their um washing up range that looks like this but I think these ones are new well at least I've I don't think I've seen them before but they're quite handy how they're already labeled with like scent boosters laundry liquid washing powder if you do like a neutral clean aesthetic look in your uh washing cupboard and then they've got these ones as well I feel like once upon a time I would have gone all out and got all of the full collection cleaning stuff like this but being completely transparent I have a cleaner best investment ever and it means that I rarely do like clean with me as it was I still obviously clean and do tidies up and tidy ups and things like that here and there but I think we're done here I think we're done I need to pay up because I've got a basket load of stuff then we'll head to home bargains all right time for a quick look in home bargains not grabbing a trolley just a little basket from here given that it's not the biggest store this is their kind of halloweeny section I'm tempted for the little ghost cushions on how cute are these PJs oh my goodness little pumpkin oh I love these little mickey pajamas they've obviously got the kids and the baby version but they've even got the adult version from that velour kind of super soft fabric I'm not gonna lie I like these that much I have picked up a set for like a little halloween period for wearing this because I'm living in PJs at the minute and I was tempted to maybe get matching however I don't think they would have the right size because baby would be probably around the 10 month mark and they've only got 18 months or six to nine months gilmore girls collection for all the gilmore girls lovers they've got this autumn latte kit and the mugs as well at 249 and then over here we've got some more neutral okay this is part of the mrs hench range where we've got some wicker pumpkins mugs as well little hinching mug pumpkin mug and then these photo frames that are nice only 149 for like a bandanas are only two pounds although I have already got some of those I'm kind of tempted to start building up a bit of a collection of stuff that as and when I see it and home balance is always usually really cheap for these kind of kind of things this is like Taipei version of me that is almost too Taipei that I start buying stuff like this already and I've also seen that she's brought out this kind of like hinge farm range as well with a load of oh my god there's a dog bandana oh cute and then some Winnie the Pooh merch as well microfiber tea towels they're a bit different I don't really they look like a well obviously they're microfibers they're like really kind of super soft probably really good absorption just some like home decor bits here I really like these travertine only 149 little candle holders I'm just in hobbycraft looking at some bits for like hosting halloweeny type parties and I love these little hanging ghosts but they're four pounds for a pack of three which I feel like is quite pricey to be fair little server platters I might get 15 pounds that seems a lot it is on a nice wooden tray and definitely one that we could obviously reuse year after year but this one's quite good five pound balance because I've found them I'm definitely going to pick up a pot the question is do I just get one wow five pound fifty for that yeah I think I'll just stick with one for now oh verdict on these I remember I showed them in another video the Dolce Seltzer ice creams incredible I'm not going to buy any more though because I literally got through them far too quickly but they've got the um smaller versions up here as well isn't it just the best coming home to a dog I absolutely love it we wouldn't have it any other way right I need to pop these bits away in the fridge in the freezer milk nectarines the blue pearl blueberries we had these the other day um they last really really well they're quite chunky blueberries so anyway I've got those um some baby cucumbers just to snack on a little naughty snack for movie nights we love these with some popcorn got those to try the cookie dough frozen things yogurts for breakfast garlic breads just to go in the freezer they're always handy to have some tomatoes it's a pretty rubbish haul but I just fancied some I needed some blueberries and yogurt for breakfast these I was just craving a crunchy actually I could have one of these as well and then obviously I was in there to look for these should we try one look at me rude not to just give it a little try oh yeah they're perfect little bite size wow that is £5.50 six by this bit for that oh wow they are incredible and do you know what they're that sweet that you probably would only need a few anyway pure sugar I need to put them in the before I show you the bits that I've bought guys look oh you may have seen this on Instagram but we have no pram oh it's on a lock at the minute but the Acara 2 this is in the heritage grey we went for which I actually really like I think it's a bit different they've got quite a selection of colours they've obviously got your standard blacks sandy beige colour um they've also got a teal green I really like this heritage grey that's got a kind of that heritage element is it's almost like it's not herringbone but like a tweedy herringbone style with the brown as well and really like it so this is the carry cot that comes with the stand as well so you can obviously use that on the pram when they're a newborn and they face you but then this one actually detaches it can face you but it can also um what did they call it world facing so you can face the other way as well and then this lies back it also has like the newborn attachment in there it's got a foot muff as well for in winter to keep you warm it's got a cup holder which might be very useful for me I feel like I can see myself now cup Stanley cup or coffee in hand dog by my side yes you look you're getting so brave with this now aren't you can you touch it good boy see it's not scary it's not scary you can be a little scaredy cat can't apparently it's a golden retriever thing a bit skittish a bit jumpy but look let me show you what we've been practicing you might be able to see what I mean here when I say you can be a bit jumpy if good boy walk with me with me good boy with me with me that's it good job you're so brave get away from me you are just the cutest boy in the world aren't you that's not a toy this is a cushion no it's not for you it can be your friend if you want a little ghosty friend no it's not a toy just gently open his mouth he's gonna think this is a toy this is a little halloween ghoulie ghost we actually used to have one of these I don't know if we still have it in storage uh maybe it just got a bit gross or didn't survive a wash very well but they're reduced to $2.99 so they call them gary the ghosts I thought during the halloween season he would look quite cute I've also got a larger one I've got some bits from homes that I bought ages ago I'll probably show you nearer the time when I actually get all these bits out but a much bigger one but yeah reduced to $2.99 those ones were I think this one was $9.99 but gary the ghost here for this whole section there he is just chilling although it's a bit low down there anyway home bargains I'll start with given that I've shown you the ghost which was ghost cushion $2.99 I did pick up the pajama set the mickey and friends I went for 12 to 16 and hopefully this will fit and yeah be super super cozy and warm and like I said very very soft for my october movie nights I also got from home bargains I hate to say it but if I see these in stock and if I'm in a home bargains they are just as good as the M&S ones when I say just as good I don't know what you're sniffing for because that's chocolate you can't have chocolate I say just as good I mean they're half the price and they're not half as good if I had a blind taste test of this one and the M&S ones would I be able to taste the difference maybe just but yeah the custard cream chopstick coated ones last thing that I got was this little travertine candle holder that I thought on a styled on a shelf or on a coffee table book or obviously used with a little candle on a mantelpiece or on a tablescape I just thought that was really nice you could even it's deep enough actually to have some small matches in and you can add your own little matchstick uh striker on the bottom so that was home bargains I did go to I'll show you hobby craft and actually a lot of things in here are from boots and again this is another thing of your guys recommendation you've been so helpful in this um like throughout this pregnancy so far so thank you firstly and yeah the boots advantage card which I already had you can sign up to the parenting club if you don't already know this and you're a mum or a mum-to-be you can sign up to the parenting club and there's constantly like offers on there and freebies and things and I thought well whilst I'm next to your boots let me just check the app because I've seen like I said you guys recommend it and there were quite a few freebies on there so I went in and picked them all up they did have these tommy tippy kits which have a newborn bottle and dummy in I bought this because again on recommendation the tommy tippy nail file which comes in a little sort of travel case with the different uh attachments for it having a little a little electric nail file that one was highly recommended this was a another freebie bump sheet mask this was also a freebie the lizelle cleanse and polish hot cloth cleanser starter kit where you get a 50 mil cleanser along with the cleansing cloth and I have used this before and have liked it I don't know why this is part of the parenting thing maybe it was because it's a product that is safe in pregnancy I have been a bit cautious about what products to use because I used um like my usual routine before being pregnant say for instance the medicube zero paw pads I was using that and then I thought well before like let me just check that you can carry on using them in pregnancy also my abaji cleanser and basically anything with retinoids salicylic acids of which some of my products had salicylic acid in you can't use or you need to avoid so I've just been asking chachi pt taking a quick snap of the product and saying can I use this um which has been really helpful this was another freebie full-sized child's farm baby shampoo and wash in the baby soft scent what else was there this was also a freebie the daily care hair and body wash for sensitive skin for the aveno baby and then the only thing I did buy whilst I was in there was this again highly recommended and something that apparently sells out quite easily so it's kind of a case of if you see it just get it that's what I've been told anyway the mistella range and these were on offer as well three for two no I tell a lie I think they were on oh I should have got another item because I've just realized I think they were on buy one get one half price well anyway it's too late now but I got two of these uh no rinse cleansing waters which I know for the first month or so you're not meant to use any products really on babies and just use water and cotton powder but um this does say safe from from birth on it does say and then this one as well is another product that I saw became highly recommended with just a little hairbrush to um use as a hairstyler and skin refresher this one's called and this is in the it's got chamomile in there as well and again it says from birth onwards you can use this so nice and gentle and then I also got um craft some googly eyes really randomly I've got some googly eyes and some other kind of crafting bits for like I said when we host a bit of a get together around Halloween I thought just in case there are kids that come I just want to have a couple of craft things I'll talk to you more nearer the time about my ideas of what I've got for that kind of thing but just stickers um keep things nice and simple and then also these marshmallow ghost treats that we can have in a treat bowl these are all individually wrapped as well which I thought was quite handy I did also go for the little canister then we went to the range so I've got two bags from the range we've got uh this which is part of like crafts I thought little Halloween cards with envelopes that we could DIY the photo frame that I showed you the aged kind of brushed gold bronze antiqued gold frame they call it 339 I thought that was a really nice colour uh some colouring pencils again just for crafting and some more stickers I did pick up the Ralph Lauren style vintage uh photo frame in the Christmas style purely because I really loved having this as a bit of a theme last year so I definitely would love to continue that on not just this year but into future years as I create memories and nostalgia for my own children and I thought this is kind of like the theme that brings me the most joy at Christmas time is injecting those deep red burgundies dark greens even navy blues golds and yeah that photo frame that photo frame fits the bill perfectly I did go for the ghost printed painted plaques I thought these were brilliant to just even stagger them they were again like three pounds something each um white card A3 size 25 sheets which I'm going to cut out I think some large pumpkin white card pumpkin shapes and ghost shapes of which the stickers are for to like decorate and DIY and craft with and then I decided to pick up this Pyrex dishwasher I was in there because these are so handy to have micro safe like easy to go in the dishwasher and they're glass whereas the one that I've currently got is plastic I think it was just from Ikea where you get like a set of three plastic ones and they discolour when you put things like beans in them or yeah I just the plastics as well so I thought get red start fresh keep glass I did also pick up a colouring book from the crafting section where there are sheets that you can obviously cut out and then last but not least we have some enamel roasters we love our enamel roasters but the larger ones that we've got the largest one we've only got one large one really and it's it's seen better days it's been a bit burnt and crisper on on the edges so I decided to stock up on a couple of fresh ones these sizes are perfect now I just need to start putting everything away but for now I think I'm going to relax oh that feels good there's quite a bit of traffic coming home actually I don't know why because it was not what you'd think would be traffic time but took me a while to get home compared to normal so I'm ready to just chill out I might even sit in the garden and read my book for a bit I'm still reading uh rereading the fourth wing series ahead of the new book that is coming out in I want to say is it's September I think I'm on pre-order for it but it's it's not the fourth book it's like an extra book so it's only a short book um but looking forward to that and I kind of just want to refresh my memory of the series not that I've forgotten it but it's more you pick up on things that you might have missed the first time around so I'm rereading that I need to pick up yesteryear again because I started that I've got into like I only read a few chapters um and I keep seeing people recommending it and I'm like I've got it in the cupboard so that might be the plan for this afternoon go and actually spend an hour or two whilst it is a bit sunny and not too hot just in the garden with this one eyeball and just go and read I'm really trying to force myself to read a bit more because for me my default for relaxing is scrolling or watching a YouTube video or putting on a Netflix series which don't get wrong I will still continue to do I do every day but I think it's important like now when it's it's not evening yet I don't need to be sat on a screen unless if I'm working so instead when I want to relax I should pick up a book I would like to not I should I would like to pick up my book more and I always feel better after reading you know sometimes when you scroll endlessly you feel a bit like you've wasted time whereas if I read I don't leave reading thinking I've wasted my time that should be a sign to maybe read a bit more
