Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russian attacks killed 38 people and injured 20, including two children, in the village of Myla in the Kyiv region, while four people remained missing. Emergency crews continued clearing fires and unexploded ordnance at the site. Zelenskyy said Russia had launched nearly 2,000 strike drones, more than 1,600 aerial bombs and 31 missiles against Ukraine during the week, including North Korean ballistic missiles, while frontline and border communities faced continued attacks. Ukrainian authorities said strikes had also damaged residential buildings and civilian infrastructure as Kyiv seeks to strengthen its air defences and respond to the escalating attacks.
