Crypto billionaire Justin Sun went viral after publicly revealing intimate details about his alleged relationship with Chinese actress Jing Tian. But within 48 hours, the story flipped.
Two former girlfriends spoke out, major crypto figures criticized him, fact-checkers challenged parts of his story, and old controversies suddenly resurfaced. Here’s how the drama turned against him.

Regarding the bombshell about Justin Sun and Jing Tian we discussed last time,
this isn't just gossip anymore. It's a drama spanning entertainment,
crypto, litigation, and surrogacy. I was being conservative because in the last 48 hours,
the script flipped. Public opinion has done a complete 180. Two nights ago, the internet was
bashing Jing Tian, calling her greedy and saying she demanded $50 million for a single egg.
Today, the whole internet is bashing Justin Sun, calling him a scumbag, stingy, and immoral for
using a private relationship to chase clout. So what exactly happened in these 48 hours?
Three things happened. Justin Sun's two ex-girlfriends opened fire at the same time,
completely tearing down his public persona. Second, Justin Sun posted another article and
gave three consecutive interviews trying to explain himself. Third, and most critically,
the search terms Justin Sun suspected of illegal fundraising and why has Justin
stayed overseas for so long have surged to the top of the trending lists today.
All those old accounts that Kaixin reported on back in the day have been dug up again.
In this episode, we're going to break down all the latest news for you in one go.
Trust me, the last episode was just the appetizer. For those of you watching TrueView for the first
time, don't miss out. Hit that like button and subscribe to stay in the loop. Our show is all
about giving you the full scoop on trending topics in just 20 to 25 minutes. If you value
your time and want the most comprehensive, hard-hitting truth behind the events,
following me is the right move. Today, let's start with the part that's getting the most
attention. Justin Sun's two ex-girlfriends have completely torn apart the persona he worked so
hard to build, and they did it from two completely different angles. Many of you are probably
familiar with Zhang Ying. She was Brother Sun's girlfriend before Jing Tian. And then there's
another one, his ex-girlfriend before Zhang Ying, named Ma Jia Jia. Ma Jia Jia herself is a legend.
Her real name is Zhang Mengnan, born in 1990. She was the top scorer in the Chinese language
section of the Yunnan Province College Entrance Exam in 2008 and graduated from the Communication
University of China. While she was still in school, she opened an adult novelty store near campus
and became an overnight sensation, making her one of the most marketing-savvy post-90s
Take note of this identity. She was actually the one who taught Justin Sun how to build a persona
and do marketing. Get it? She was one of the earliest teachers of Brother Sun's traffic-driven
playbook, you know? How did the two of them get together back then? This story is particularly
interesting. They held a crowdfunding wedding, raising money from netizens, and ended up
collecting 38,000 RMB. When they held the event, they were actually a fake couple. It was all an
They broke up later on. According to rumors, Ma Jia Jia smashed up Brother Sun's place in a fit
of rage. There's a follow-up to this detail that's just absurd. When his second girlfriend, Zhang
Ying, visited for the first time, she walked in and saw the place was in ruins. She actually
thought it was some trendy industrial or unfinished concrete interior design style.
But Brother Sun just told her quite calmly that it wasn't any of those. It was his ex-girlfriend
I have to say, this Ma Jia Jia is one tough cookie. And now, Ma Jia Jia has come out to
vent about Brother Sun too. What did she say? She gave an example. Back then, without her knowing,
Brother Sun had his assistant buy her a wardrobe. Mind you, it was one of those simple,
student-style wardrobes. Just a single door. Very small capacity. And when they broke up,
Brother Sun actually made her pay over 1,000 RMB for it. For the wardrobe? 1,000 plus for a
wardrobe that looks like that? This Justin Sun really knows how to make a buck. And Ma Jia Jia
also said that what really annoyed her was that Brother Sun later talked about her to Zhang Ying
as if he had given her a lot of money. Ma Jia Jia's comments about this ex-boyfriend from years
ago have been dug up by the entire internet today and are being shared like crazy. Let me read it to
you all. She said, Justin Sun is a blockchain patient, like a drug addict, highly addicted
to making money because he can't get any joy from anywhere else. That's pretty harsh. Let's not
comment on it for now. You can judge for yourself after seeing what comes next. After Ma Jia Jia,
it was the turn of Zhang Ying, who now calls herself a PhD in Sun studies. Zhang Ying said
the two of them got together in 2017. Pay attention to this year. September 2017 was exactly when
Justin Sun founded Tron. In other words, Zhang Ying was the person who accompanied Justin Sun
while he was starting his business. The two of them dated for a total of four years, ending in
2021. According to the leaks, Zhang Ying is a high-achieving student from Waseda University.
In 2017, which was after the September 4th regulatory crackdown, in September of that year,
seven Chinese government departments, including the People's Bank of China,
completely banned ICOs and domestic trading platforms. What is an ICO? We talked about
that in our last episode. So for those who haven't seen it, be sure to go check it out.
Therefore, just as Justin Sun had founded Tron, he ran straight into a red line and urgently
needed an overseas channel to relocate his business. And according to her own account,
Zhang Ying used her own money to help brother Sun buy a Japanese exchange,
using her resources and funds in Japan to help him set up the channel. Besides that, she did
PR work, wrote copy, and even mobilized her whole family to spam comments in brother Sun's live
stream at the time. In other words, for Justin Sun, Zhang Ying wasn't just a girlfriend. She was
a key partner during those most dangerous days. So with such an important girlfriend and partner,
brother Sun should have cherished her, right? But what did he actually do? Zhang Ying said
that during those years in the US, the two of them ate the cheapest cold salads every single day
and watched pirated movies at home, with the excuse being that brother Sun needed to lose
weight and learn English. She said that when she first arrived in the US, brother Sun picked her up
wearing an incredibly flashy mink coat, but then he took her to stay in a shabby rundown guest house,
and when he took her out to eat, he didn't pull out a black card, but rather a pile of all sorts
of coupons. He sat there meticulously calculating all the different ways to stack the discounts,
and in the end, not only did he barely spend any money himself, but he even forced the restaurant
to give him a free chicken. As a result of long-term malnutrition, Zhang Ying suffered
from hypoglycemia and one day faded in the death room. And what was Justin Sun's response?
Medical care in the US is too expensive. You must pull yourself together. Oh my, so brother Sun was
offering spiritual therapy, was he? And that's not all. Zhang Ying said that when they broke up the
first time, Justin Sun told her over the phone, our status levels are different now. Just look at us.
After the breakup, brother Sun's team offered Zhang Ying 60,000 RMB in compensation,
but this 60,000 wasn't just a gift, it came with conditions. The condition was that Zhang Ying had
to post over a dozen Weibo posts to promote brother Sun, and on top of that, she had to
delete all her past comments related to him. To put it simply, this wasn't a breakup settlement,
it was a procurement contract for PR services. Four years of a relationship valued at 60,000
with a mandatory after-sales service package of deleting posts and whitewashing his reputation
included. Would you agree to that? Zhang Ying refused. It's a good thing she refused,
otherwise we wouldn't have this drama to talk about now. Because she understood brother Sun
so well, Zhang Ying later started calling herself a doctor of Sun-ology, turning the details of
their past relationship into a series of dark humor anecdotes. Netizens call this Ying-ology.
The two most viral ones are the underwear washing literature and the power bank literature.
So what exactly is this underwear washing literature? She said that back then,
brother Sun would ask her to hand wash his underwear, and some people even say brother
Sun would hint that he'd only show up if the girl washed his underwear. Now, it's said that
Justin's son has switched to daily disposables. He often tells a story about bringing seven pairs
of underwear when staying at a hotel, saying they're all disposable and he just throws them
away after wearing them. In response to this, Zhang Ying asked a soul-searching question.
Isn't this daily disposable underwear thing too extravagant? Are you not planning on living a
normal life anymore? There's another widely circulated detail about brother Sun eating hot
pot. When faced with 100 degree coconut chicken, he would always be the first to grab it and shove
it into his mouth, even if it burned him. Later on, he ended up with kidney stones. Zhang Ying said,
turns out he wasn't immune to the pain either, eating such piping hot coconut chicken.
I have to say, this is the highest level of yin-yang philosophy.
Over the past couple of days, Zhang Ying has continued to drop more intel, and it's getting
more and more intense. Today, she revealed that the last time they met, Zhang Ying dressed up
carefully for the date, and when Sun Yuchen hooked her, he first felt her jacket. What's that about?
He was checking to see if she was carrying a hammer because Ma Jiajia had smashed up his
place before. Later on, Sun Yuchen even hired security. She revealed that the visit wasn't
a kidnapping. The visitor was just an ex. She said that Sun Yuchen is the type who,
upon reaching success, is the first to cut ties with his loved ones.
My goodness, hearing this, friends, do you believe such an assessment? If this is the
real Sun Yuchen, that is simply terrifying. Yesterday, I was chatting with a male friend,
and as soon as he heard about brother Sun pushing Jingting to the brink like this online,
he flat out called him a high-level piece of human trash, saying he'd never find a sincere
partner again because no one would dare trust him. I just want to ask my male and female friends
in front of the screen, now that this drama has reached this point, who do you side with?
If you support Jing Tian, type Tian Tian for me. If you support Sun Yuchen, type brother Sun.
If you don't support either side, type neither. Well, I look forward to seeing your opinions,
and seeing if the public sentiment among our friends has flipped as well.
With things developing like this, brother Sun definitely couldn't sit still anymore.
He did three things. Brother Sun really couldn't sit still anymore.
Late on the night of the 27th, he gave an exclusive interview to Phoenix New Media,
and his core statement was simply, hey, this is not a marketing stunt.
He said he spent over a dozen hours writing that 6,000-word long article,
barely sleeping for two nights. He was in Bhutan at the time, dealing with the time difference,
so he could only write in the early hours of the morning when no one would disturb him.
As for why he wrote purely fictional at the end, his explanation was that the vast majority of
content is a statement that aligns with his true intentions. The fictional label was only there
because he couldn't guarantee that every single detail was 100% accurate, but what he himself
thought and said, that part is 100% confirmed. This explanation was a total disaster to the
public. He was basically admitting in front of everyone that the purely fictional disclaimer
was just for show. By the 28th, brother Sun, who was in Hong Kong, came out to explain again.
Why did he insist on demanding the return of that 30 million in bride price? He gave two reasons.
First, it was his lawyer's advice. Second, he said this might be the only connection left
between the two of them. The only connection left with Jing Tian is a lawsuit. Isn't this just
another case of him being self-indulgent? Has he even considered whether Jing Tian actually
wants this last connection with him? Then we get to the most interesting part of today.
At 1 11 a.m on the 29th, crypto mogul Changpeng Zhao, CZ, posted on X. We'll go into detail about
this post later, but first let's look at brother Sun's reply. Brother Sun replied, and wow, he
really humbled himself. Thank you CZ, well said. Mutual respect, proper resolution, and let the
courts handle the rest. I won't say anything more. All right friends, take note. I won't say anything
more. And yet, just over an hour later, he turned around and posted a brand new short essay,
then retweeted his own piece, My Girlfriend Jing Tian. Let me read it for you, friends. He said,
when you move out, you have to turn off the lights. Maybe it was a bit late, maybe the noise
was a bit loud, but the lights had to be turned off because the person had already left. The sound
of turning off the lights disturbed Ms. Jing. That was not my intention. I wish her well, and I hope
her future days have nothing to do with these words. Friends, I have to say, this is honestly
the most disgusting and dishonest thing I've seen in a long time. If you agree with me, please give
me a like right now. What did he compare his act of writing a 6,000 word essay dissecting someone
else's privacy to? He compared it to turning off the lights when moving out. What kind of concept
is turning off the lights when moving out? It's about someone packing up their things and leaving
quietly without disturbing anyone. But what did he actually do? He used his real name in the title,
included the other person's photo, and wrote a 6,000 word essay detailing all their private
matters, including surrogacy, egg retrieval, bride price, tattoos, and intimate nicknames,
and published it on a public platform. He even coordinated with a lawyer to release a case
statement, pushing the whole thing to the number one spot on the national trending list.
This isn't turning off the lights. This is more like setting up a loudspeaker that plays on a 24
hour loop right at the other person's doorstep while you're moving out. Then he turns around
and says nonchalantly, sorry, I made a bit too much noise turning off the lights and disturbed
you. That wasn't my intention. Those final words, that wasn't my intention, package what was
actually an active, meticulously designed, and hours long public execution of his celebrity
ex-girlfriend's reputation into something unintentional, passive, and even a slightly
helpless little accident. That last line, may her future days have nothing to do with these words.
Friends, this is already all over the internet. So who was it that made them have something to do
with Jing Tian in the first place? So this isn't an explanation. It's just literary packaging for
a second round of harm. And he had just told CZ, Chang Peng Zhao, that he wouldn't say anything
more. But then he turned around and posted a new one. This is why a trending topic appeared on the
hot search list today. Justin Sun posts again and is criticized for being hypocritical. So at this
point, we need to talk about what exactly CZ, the crypto bigwig Chang Peng Zhao, said that made
brother Sun lower his posture so much. Chang Peng Zhao said that while aggressive marketing is fine,
resorting to personal attacks or even damaging someone's future career prospects is unnecessary.
He added that going straight to a lawsuit would be better than disclosing unnecessary details,
and he hopes for a proper resolution based on mutual respect. First of all, for brother Sun,
Chang Peng Zhao holds too much weight. Chang Peng Zhao is the founder of Binance,
and his net worth once exceeded 100 billion US dollars. He is the ceiling of the entire Chinese
crypto circle. Justin Sun has also publicly stated many times that CZ, Chang Peng Zhao,
is his mentor and friend, as well as his benefactor, which is why Justin Sun would
lower his posture to say thank you to CZ and acknowledge that he was right. It's not just
people in the crypto circle who are starting to pop up. Heavyweight figures from outside the circle
have also weighed in on this incident. Hu Xijin's criticism was quite blunt. His core point was
that regardless of CZ's personal style or character, for you, Justin Sun, to air her
private matters like this, knowing full well that she is in a position where she cannot come out to
confront you, and to unilaterally package your attacks in flowery language, is a seriously
immoral act. He said this is equivalent to holding a grudge after breaking up with a girlfriend and
That's not cool, brother Sun. That's not how a man should act.
And the most surreal scene happened in the A-share market. Zhang Xiaokuan, the time-honored
brand that makes scissors and nail clippers, got pumped by capital because of the nail filing meme.
There even popped up so-called Sun Jing CP concept stocks in the market, which hit the limit up again
after breaking the limit. A private relationship dispute ends up being hyped into an A-share
Finally, let's add one more old interview that was dug up today. It's absolutely brilliant.
Justin Sun once talked about his requirements for a significant other in an interview,
saying he hoped the person could bring him traffic. What are brother Sun's criteria for
a partner? And what do you expect from a future wife? Do you have any expectations for their
personality or image? Well, I hope that my future significant other can bring some traffic to the
This sentence is the most accurate annotation for everything that has happened over these past three
days. After looking at all this public opinion drama, let's move on to the most hardcore part.
The internet-wide debunking squad is online. Now, experts from all walks of life are using
magnifying glasses to dissect brother Sun's 6,000-word long article word by word. It turns
out that once you start digging, you realize it's just full of jokes. The first thing to get slapped
in the face is the story about the stack of cash used to buy out the movie theater. Brother Sun
wrote in his text that in order to buy out the theater for a movie, he had his bodyguards pay
cash to the 26 audience members who had already bought tickets. He wrote about a couple with their
child and how his assistant hurriedly handed them a stack of cash, a stack of cash that really gets
people's imaginations running wild. I wish I were one of those audience members who got handed a
stack of cash. But as it turns out, you know, some of the audience members who were actually there
that night and had their tickets refunded have come out to debunk it, saying that the stack of
cash was just a refund at the original ticket price and not a single extra cent was given.
Turns out brother Sun is really a calculating guy. The second thing that got debunked is the
airplane fuel theory. Brother Sun claimed that his private jet was too light, so the takeoff
balance was off and every time they had to specifically add extra fuel to weigh it down
and then dump the extra fuel after landing. While this one really cracked up the aviation bloggers,
commercial airliners can perfectly well fly with a light load, the absurd logic that you need to
add extra fuel because the plane is too light simply doesn't exist anywhere in the world.
The only reason to dump fuel in midair is if you took off with a full tank and then
encountered an emergency that required an emergency landing. So in order to brag about
his wealth, brother Sun has completely abandoned basic physics. The most fatal boomerang of the
entire incident today is that Sun Yuchen's old history of fleeing has been dug up by the entire
internet. Two search terms have suddenly appeared on the trending list, Sun Yuchen suspected of
illegal fundraising and why has Sun Yuchen stayed overseas for so long? Kaixin reported that as of
June 2018, authorities had issued border control orders for Sun Yuchen and others following all
proper procedures. In July 2018, while traveling in Asia, he found he was barred from leaving.
Anxious, he scrambled to identify who issued the order. The report noted the National Internet
Finance Risk Special Rectification Office had urged the Public Security Department to investigate
him for suspected illegal fundraising, money laundering, gambling and pornography.
Justin Sun denied it at the time, insisting that the report was completely false.
But the bizarre part was that no sooner had his company executives solemnly assured a Kaixin
reporter that Mr. Sun was currently in the country, than Justin Sun started a live stream.
And the background of the live stream clearly showed him in San Francisco, USA.
From that moment on, Justin Sun began a multi-year stay abroad. Do you guys have a feeling?
At this point, the nature of the situation has completely changed. This drama has evolved from
Justin Sun unilaterally exposing gossip about Jing Tian's private life into a full-scale reckoning
across the internet regarding Justin Sun's own dark history and criminal record. Is there a
phrase for this? Like playing with fire and getting burned? Technically speaking, Justin Sun made
almost every right move this time. He spoke before the other party, seized the initial narrative
control, added a purely fictional disclaimer at the end as a bulletproof vest, and had his lawyers
issue a case statement simultaneously, pushing forward both legal proceedings and public opinion
narratives in parallel. The article was written beautifully, with room for interpretation,
specific details and punchy lines, making it entertaining for everyone to read and willing to
share. Following what we discussed in our last episode, looking at this from the perspective
of manufacturing attention, his bread and butter for the past 15 years, this was a textbook
operation. The hot search exploded, the entire internet was reading his words, and even the
A-share market opened a concept sector for him, not to mention his Tron coin, which surged
repeatedly. But he lost, and it seems now that he hasn't finished losing yet. This matter for sure
will have a follow-up. Subscribe to True Viewpoint and we will continue to follow this story.
At the end of the show, I'd like to ask you, who do you think is more at fault? Is this farce more
Jing Tian's fault, with the belief that Brother Sun was just reasonably asking for what he paid,
and incidentally making Jing Tian pay the price for her past greed? Or is Brother Sun more at
fault? Even if the relationship is broken down, and there are financial disputes, both parties
could have completely gone through legal channels to resolve it private ways. Why was it necessary
to write a thousands of words long post, air private matters to the entire internet, and try
ruin the other person? Friends, haven't seen this. Who do you think is more responsible for this
super drama? If you think Jing Tian is more at fault, type a J for me. If you think Brother Sun
is more at fault, type an S. Alright, that's all for today. Today, we've shared the latest
